3 Henoch, Methusalah, Lamech,
Henoch, Methushelah, Lamech,
4 Noah, Sem, Ham und Japheth.
Noah, She, Ham, and Iapheth.
5 Die Söhne Japheths waren: Gomer, Magog, Madai, Jawan, Thubal, Mesech und Thiras.
The sonnes of Iapheth were Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Iauan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.
6 Und die Söhne Gomers: Askenas, Diphath und Thogarma.
And the sonnes of Gomer, Ashchenaz, and Iphath and Togarmah.
7 Und die Söhne Jawans: Elisa, Tharsis, die Kitthiter und die Rodaniter.
Also the sonnes of Iauan, Elishah and Tarshishah, Kittim, and Dodanim.
8 Die Söhne Hams waren: Kusch und Mizraim, Put und Kanaan.
The sonnes of Ham were Cush, and Mizraim, Put and Canaan.
9 Und die Söhne Kuschs: Seba, Hawila, Sabtha, Ragma und Sabthecha; und die Söhne Ragmas: Seba und Dedan.
And the sonnes of Cush, Siba and Hauilah, and Sabta, and Raamah, and Sabtecha. Also the sonnes of Raamah were Sheba and Dedan.
10 Kusch war der Vater Nimrods; dieser war der erste Gewaltherrscher auf der Erde.
And Cush begate Nimrod, who began to be mightie in the earth.
11 Und Mizraim war der Stammvater der Luditer, der Anamiter, der Lehabiter, der Naphthuhiter,
And Mizraim begate Ludim and Anamim, Lehabim, and Naphtuhim:
12 der Pathrusiter, der Kasluhiter – von denen die Philister ausgegangen sind – und der Kaphthoriter.
Pathrusim also, and Casluhim, of whome came the Philistims, and Caphtorim.
13 Kanaan aber hatte zu Söhnen: Sidon, seinen Erstgeborenen, und den Heth,
Also Canaan begate Zidon his first borne, and Heth,
14 ferner die Jebusiter, Amoriter, Girgasiter,
And the Iebusite, and the Amorite, and the Girgashite,
15 Hewiter, Arkiter, Siniter,
And the Hiuuite, and the Arkite, and the Simite,
16 Arwaditer, Zemariter und Hamathiter.
And the Aruadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite.
17 Die Söhne Sems waren: Elam, Assur, Arpachsad, Lud, Aram, Uz, Hul, Gether und Mesech.
The sonnes of Shem were Elam and Asshur, and Arpachshad, and Lud, and Aram, and Vz, and Hul, and Gether, and Meshech.
18 Arpachsad aber war der Vater Selahs, und Selah war der Vater Ebers.
Also Arpachshad begate Shelah, and Shelah begate Eber.
19 Und dem Eber wurden zwei Söhne geboren: der eine hieß Peleg, weil zu seiner Zeit die Bevölkerung der Erde sich teilte, und sein Bruder hieß Joktan.
Vnto Eber also were borne two sonnes: the name of the one was Peleg: for in his dayes was ye earth deuided: and his brothers name was Ioktan.
20 Und Joktan hatte zu Söhnen: Almodad, Seleph, Hazarmaweth, Jerah,
Then Ioktan begate Almodad and Sheleph, and Hazermaueth and Ierah,
21 Hadoram, Usal, Dikla,
And Hadoram and Vzal and Diklah,
22 Ebal, Abimael, Seba,
And Ebal, and Abimael, and Sheba,
23 Ophir, Hawila und Jobab; diese alle waren Söhne Joktans.
And Ophir, and Hauilah and Iobab: all these were the sonnes of Ioktan.
24 Sem, Arpachsad, Selah,
Shem, Arpachshad, Shelah,
25 Eber, Peleg, Regu,
Eber, Peleg, Rehu,
26 Serug, Nahor, Therah,
Serug, Nahor, Terah,
27 Abram, das ist Abraham.
Abram, which is Abraham.
28 Die Söhne Abrahams waren: Isaak und Ismael.
The sonnes of Abraham were Izhak, and Ishmael.
29 Dies ist ihr Stammbaum: der Erstgeborene Ismaels Nebajoth; sodann Kedar, Adbeel, Mibsam,
These are their generations. The eldest sonne of Ishmael was Nebaioth, and Kedar, and Adbeel, and Mibsam,
30 Misma, Duma, Massa, Hadad, Thema,
Mishma, and Dumah, Massa, Hadad, and Tema,
31 Jetur, Naphis und Kedma; das sind die Söhne Ismaels.
Ietur, Naphish and Kedemah: these are the sonnes of Ishmael.
32 Und die Söhne der Ketura, der Nebenfrau Abrahams: sie gebar Simran, Joksan, Medan, Midian, Jisbak und Suah. Und die Söhne Joksans waren: Seba und Dedan.
And Keturah Abrahams concubine bare sonnes, Zimran, and Iokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak, and Shuah: and the sonnes of Iokshan, Sheba, and Dedan.
33 Und die Söhne Midians: Epha, Epher, Hanoch, Abida und Eldaa. Diese alle waren Söhne oder Enkel der Ketura.
And the sonnes of Midian were Ephah, and Ephar, and Henoch, and Abida, and Eldaah: All these are the sonnes of Keturah.
34 Abraham aber war der Vater Isaaks; die Söhne Isaaks waren: Esau und Israel.
And Abraham begate Izhak: the sonnes of Izhak, Esau, and Israel.
35 Die Söhne Esaus waren: Eliphas, Reguel, Jegus, Jaglam und Korah.
The sonnes of Esau were Eliphaz, Reuel, and Ieush, and Iaalam, and Korah.
36 Die Söhne des Eliphas waren: Theman, Omar, Zephi, Gaetham, Kenas, Thimna und Amalek.
The sonnes of Eliphaz, Teman, and Omar, Zephi, and Gatam, Kenaz, and Timna, and Amalek.
37 Die Söhne Reguels waren: Nahath, Serah, Samma und Missa. –
The sonnes of Reuel, Nahath, Zerah, Shammah and Mizzah.
38 Und die Söhne Seirs: Lotan, Sobal, Zibeon, Ana, Dison, Ezer und Disan.
And the sonnes of Seir, Lotan, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah, and Dishon, and Ezer, and Dishan.
39 Und die Söhne Lotans: Hori und Homam; und die Schwester Lotans war Thimna.
And the sonnes of Lotan, Hori, and Homam, and Timna Lotans sister.
40 Die Söhne Sobals waren: Aljan, Manahath, Ebal, Sephi und Onam; und die Söhne Zibeons: Ajja und Ana.
The sonnes of Shobal were Alian, and Manahath, and Ebal, Shephi, and Onam. And the sonnes of Zibeon, Aiah and Anah.
41 Die Söhne Anas waren: Dison; und die Söhne Disons: Hamran, Esban, Jithran und Cheran.
The sonne of Anah was Dishon. And the sonnes of Dishon, Amran, and Eshban, and Ithran, and Cheran.
42 Die Söhne Ezers waren: Bilhan, Saawan und Jaakan. Die Söhne Disans waren: Uz und Aran.
The sonnes of Ezer were Bilhan, and Zaauan, and Iaakan. The sonnes of Dishon were Vz, and Aran.
43 Und dies sind die Könige, die im Lande Edom geherrscht haben, ehe ein König über die Israeliten herrschte: Bela, der Sohn Beors; seine Stadt hieß Dinhaba.
And these were the Kings that reigned in the land of Edom, before a King reigned ouer the children of Israel, to wit, Bela the sonne of Beor, and the name of his citie was Dinhabah.
44 Nach dem Tode Belas wurde Jobab, der Sohn Serahs, aus Bozra, König an seiner Statt.
Then Bela died, and Iobab the sonne of Zerah of Bozrah reigned in his stead.
45 Nach dem Tode Jobabs wurde Husam aus dem Lande der Themaniter König an seiner Statt.
And whe Iobab was dead, Hussham of the land of the Temanites reigned in his stead.
46 Nach dem Tode Husams wurde Hadad, der Sohn Bedads, König an seiner Statt, derselbe, der die Midianiter auf der Hochebene der Moabiter schlug; seine Stadt hieß Awith.
And when Hussham was dead, Hadad the sonne of Bedad which smote Midian in the fielde of Moab, reigned in his steade, and the name of his citie was Auith.
47 Nach dem Tode Hadads wurde Samla aus Masreka König an seiner Statt.
So Hadad dyed, and Samlah of Mashrecah reigned in his stead.
48 Nach dem Tode Samlas wurde Saul aus Rehoboth am Euphratstrom König an seiner Statt.
And Samlah dyed, and Shaul of Rehoboth by the riuer reigned in his stead.
49 Nach dem Tode Sauls wurde Baal-Hanan, der Sohn Achbors, König an seiner Statt.
And when Shaul was dead, Baal-hanan the sonne of Achbor reigned in his stead.
50 Nach dem Tode Baal-Hanans wurde Hadad König an seiner Statt: seine Stadt hieß Pagi, und seine Frau hieß Mehetabeel, eine Tochter Matreds, eine Enkelin Mesahabs. –
And Baal-hanan dyed, and Hadad reigned in his stead, and the name of his citie was Pai, and his wiues name Mehetabel the daughter of Matred the daughter of Mezahab.
51 Nach dem Tode Hadads waren die Häuptlinge der Edomiter: der Häuptling Thimna, der Häuptling Alja, der Häuptling Jetheth,
Hadad dyed also, and there were dukes in Edom, duke Timna, duke Aliah, duke Ietheth,
52 der Häuptling Oholibama, der Häuptling Ela, der Häuptling Pinon,
Duke Aholibamah, duke Elah, duke Pinon,
53 der Häuptling Kenas, der Häuptling Theman, der Häuptling Mibzar,
Duke Kenaz, duke Teman, duke Mibzar,
54 der Häuptling Magdiel, der Häuptling Iram. Dies sind die Häuptlinge der Edomiter.
Duke Magdiel, duke Iram: these were the dukes of Edom.
