1 Dies waren die Söhne Davids, die ihm in Hebron geboren wurden: Der Erstgeborene war Amnon, von der Jesreelitin Ahinoam; der zweite Daniel, von der Karmelitin Abigail;
These were the sons of David who were born to him in Hebron: The firstborn was Amnon by Ahinoam of Jezreel; the second was Daniel by Abigail of Carmel;
2 der dritte Absalom, der Sohn der Maacha, der Tochter des Königs Thalmai von Gesur; der vierte Adonia, der Sohn der Haggith;
the third was Absalom the son of Maacah daughter of King Talmai of Geshur; the fourth was Adonijah the son of Haggith;
3 der fünfte Sephatja, von Abital; der sechste Jithream, von seiner Frau Egla.
the fifth was Shephatiah by Abital; and the sixth was Ithream by his wife Eglah.
4 Diese sechs wurden ihm in Hebron geboren; dort regierte er sieben Jahre und sechs Monate; aber in Jerusalem regierte er dreiunddreißig Jahre.
These six sons were born to David in Hebron, where he reigned seven years and six months. And David reigned in Jerusalem thirty-three years,
5 Folgende aber wurden ihm in Jerusalem geboren: Simea, Sobab, Nathan und Salomo, zusammen vier, von Bath-Sewa, der Tochter Ammiels;
and these sons were born to him in Jerusalem: Shimea, Shobab, Nathan, and Solomon. These four were born to him by Bathsheba daughter of Ammiel.

David’s other sons were Ibhar, Elishua, Eliphelet,
7 Nogah, Nepheg, Japhia,

8 Elisama, Eljada und Eliphelet, zusammen neun.

9 Dies sind allesamt Söhne Davids, außer den Söhnen von Nebenweibern; und Thamar war ihre Schwester.
These were all the sons of David, besides the sons by his concubines. And Tamar was their sister.
10 Salomos Sohn war Rehabeam; dessen Sohn war Abija, dessen Sohn Asa, dessen Sohn Josaphat,
Solomon’s son was Rehoboam: Abijah was his son, Asa his son, Jehoshaphat his son,
11 dessen Sohn Joram, dessen Sohn Ahasja, dessen Sohn Joas,
Joram his son, Ahaziah his son, Joash his son,
12 dessen Sohn Amazja, dessen Sohn Asarja, dessen Sohn Jotham,
Amaziah his son, Azariah his son, Jotham his son,
13 dessen Sohn Ahas, dessen Sohn Hiskia, dessen Sohn Manasse,
Ahaz his son, Hezekiah his son, Manasseh his son,
14 dessen Sohn Amon, dessen Sohn Josia. –

15 Und die Söhne Josias waren: der Erstgeborene Johanan, der zweite Jojakim, der dritte Zedekia, der vierte Sallum.
The sons of Josiah: Johanan was the firstborn, Jehoiakim the second, Zedekiah the third, and Shallum the fourth.
16 Die Söhne Jojakims waren: sein Sohn Jechonja; dessen Sohn war Zedekia.
The successors of Jehoiakim: Jeconiah his son, and Zedekiah.
17 Die Söhne Jechonjas, des Gefangenen, waren: sein Sohn Sealthiel,
The descendants of Jeconiah the captive: Shealtiel his son,
18 Malchiram, Pedaja, Sena’azzar, Jekamja, Hosama und Nebadja.
Malchiram, Pedaiah, Shenazzar, Jekamiah, Hoshama, and Nedabiah.
19 Die Söhne Pedajas waren: Serubbabel und Simei; und die Söhne Serubbabels: Mesullam und Hananja, und deren Schwester war Selomith;
The sons of Pedaiah: Zerubbabel and Shimei. The children of Zerubbabel: Meshullam and Hananiah, their sister Shelomith,
20 und (die Söhne Mesullams waren: ) Hasuba, Ohel, Berechja, Hasadja, Jusab-Hesed, zusammen fünf.
and five others: Hashubah, Ohel, Berechiah, Hasadiah, and Jushab-hesed.
21 Die Söhne Hananjas waren: Pelatja und Jesaja; die Söhne Rephajas, die Söhne Arnans, die Söhne Obadjas, die Söhne Sechanjas.
The descendants of Hananiah: Pelatiah, Jeshaiah, and the sons of Rephaiah, of Arnan, of Obadiah, and of Shecaniah.
22 Die Söhne Sechanjas waren: Semaja; und die Söhne Semajas: Hattus, Jigeal, Bariah, Nearja und Saphat, zusammen sechs.
The six descendants of Shecaniah were Shemaiah and his sons: Hattush, Igal, Bariah, Neariah, and Shaphat.
23 Die Söhne Nearjas waren: Eljoenai, Hiskia und Asrikam, zusammen drei.
The sons of Neariah: Elioenai, Hizkiah, and Azrikam—three in all.
24 Die Söhne Eljoenais aber waren: Hodawja, Eljasib, Pelaja, Akkub, Johanan, Delaja und Anani, zusammen sieben.
The sons of Elioenai: Hodaviah, Eliashib, Pelaiah, Akkub, Johanan, Delaiah, and Anani—seven in all.
