Sprueche 15
1 Eine linde Antwort stillt den Zorn; aber ein hartes Wort richtet Grimm an.
A soft answer turneth back fury, And a grievous word raiseth up anger.
2 Der Weisen Zunge macht die Lehre lieblich; der Narren Mund speit eitel Narrheit.
The tongue of the wise maketh knowledge good, And the mouth of fools uttereth folly.
3 Die Augen des HERRN schauen an allen Orten beide, die Bösen und die Frommen.
In every place are the eyes of Jehovah, Watching the evil and the good.
4 Ein heilsame Zunge ist ein Baum des Lebens; aber eine lügenhafte macht Herzeleid.
A healed tongue [is] a tree of life, And perverseness in it — a breach in the spirit.
5 Der Narr lästert die Zucht seines Vaters; wer aber Strafe annimmt, der wird klug werden.
A fool despiseth the instruction of his father, And whoso is regarding reproof is prudent.
6 In des Gerechten Haus ist Guts genug; aber in dem Einkommen des Gottlosen ist Verderben.
[In] the house of the righteous [is] abundant strength, And in the increase of the wicked — trouble.
7 Der Weisen Mund streut guten Rat; aber der Narren Herz ist nicht richtig.
The lips of the wise scatter knowledge, And the heart of fools [is] not right.
8 Der Gottlosen Opfer ist dem HERRN ein Greuel; aber das Gebet der Frommen ist ihm angenehm.
The sacrifice of the wicked [is] an abomination to Jehovah, And the prayer of the upright [is] His delight.
9 Der Gottlosen Weg ist dem HERRN ein Greuel; wer aber der Gerechtigkeit nachjagt, den liebt er.
An abomination to Jehovah [is] the way of the wicked, And whoso is pursuing righteousness He loveth.
10 Den Weg verlassen bringt böse Züchtigung, und wer Strafe haßt, der muß sterben.
Chastisement [is] grievous to him who is forsaking the path, Whoso is hating reproof dieth.
Sheol and destruction [are] before Jehovah, Surely also the hearts of the sons of men. (Sheol h7585)
12 Der Spötter liebt den nicht, der ihn straft, und geht nicht zu den Weisen.
A scorner loveth not his reprover, Unto the wise he goeth not.
13 Ein fröhlich Herz macht ein fröhlich Angesicht; aber wenn das Herz bekümmert ist, so fällt auch der Mut.
A joyful heart maketh glad the face, And by grief of heart is the spirit smitten.
14 Ein kluges Herz handelt bedächtig; aber der Narren Mund geht mit Torheit um.
The heart of the intelligent seeketh knowledge, And the mouth of fools enjoyeth folly.
15 Ein Betrübter hat nimmer einen guten Tag; aber ein guter Mut ist ein täglich Wohlleben.
All the days of the afflicted [are] evil, And gladness of heart [is] a perpetual banquet.
16 Es ist besser ein wenig mit der Furcht des HERRN denn großer Schatz, darin Unruhe ist.
Better [is] a little with the fear of Jehovah, Than much treasure, and tumult with it.
17 Es ist besser ein Gericht Kraut mit Liebe, denn ein gemästeter Ochse mit Haß.
Better [is] an allowance of green herbs and love there, Than a fatted ox, and hatred with it.
18 Ein zorniger Mann richtet Hader an; ein Geduldiger aber stillt den Zank.
A man of fury stirreth up contention, And the slow to anger appeaseth strife.
19 Der Weg des Faulen ist dornig; aber der Weg des Frommen ist wohl gebahnt.
The way of the slothful [is] as a hedge of briers, And the path of the upright is raised up.
20 Ein weiser Sohn erfreut den Vater, und ein törichter Mensch ist seiner Mutter Schande.
A wise son rejoiceth a father. And a foolish man is despising his mother.
21 Dem Toren ist die Torheit eine Freude; aber ein verständiger Mann bleibt auf dem rechten Wege.
Folly is joy to one lacking heart, And a man of intelligence directeth [his] going.
22 Die Anschläge werden zunichte, wo nicht Rat ist; wo aber viel Ratgeber sind, bestehen sie.
Without counsel [is] the making void of purposes, And in a multitude of counsellors it is established.
23 Es ist einem Manne eine Freude, wenn er richtig antwortet; und ein Wort zu seiner Zeit ist sehr lieblich.
Joy [is] to a man in the answer of his mouth, And a word in its season — how good!
24 Der Weg des Lebens geht überwärts für den Klugen, auf daß er meide die Hölle unterwärts. (Sheol h7585)
A path of life [is] on high for the wise, To turn aside from Sheol beneath. (Sheol h7585)
25 Der HERR wird das Haus des Hoffärtigen zerbrechen und die Grenze der Witwe bestätigen.
The house of the proud Jehovah pulleth down, And He setteth up the border of the widow.
26 Die Anschläge des Argen sind dem HERRN ein Greuel; aber freundlich reden die Reinen.
An abomination to Jehovah [are] thoughts of wickedness, And pure [are] sayings of pleasantness.
27 Der Geizige verstört sein eigen Haus; wer aber Geschenke haßt, der wird leben.
A dishonest gainer is troubling his house, And whoso is hating gifts liveth.
28 Das Herz des Gerechten ersinnt, was zu antworten ist; aber der Mund der Gottlosen schäumt Böses.
The heart of the righteous meditateth to answer, And the mouth of the wicked uttereth evil things.
29 Der HERR ist fern von den Gottlosen; aber der Gerechten Gebet erhört er.
Far [is] Jehovah from the wicked, And the prayer of the righteous He heareth.
30 Freundlicher Anblick erfreut das Herz; eine gute Botschaft labt das Gebein.
The light of the eyes rejoiceth the heart, A good report maketh fat the bone.
31 Das Ohr, das da hört die Strafe des Lebens, wird unter den Weisen wohnen.
An ear that is hearing the reproof of life Doth lodge among the wise.
32 Wer sich nicht ziehen läßt, der macht sich selbst zunichte; wer aber auf Strafe hört, der wird klug.
Whoso is refusing instruction is despising his soul, And whoso is hearing reproof Is getting understanding.
33 Die Furcht des HERRN ist Zucht und Weisheit; und ehe man zu Ehren kommt, muß man zuvor leiden.
The fear of Jehovah [is] the instruction of wisdom, And before honour [is] humility!
