Judas 1
1 Judas, ein Knecht Jesu Christi, ein Bruder aber des Jakobus, den Berufenen, die da geheiligt sind in Gott, dem Vater, und bewahrt in Jesu Christo:
Jude, a servant of Jesus Christ and a brother of James, to those who are called and sanctified by God the Father, and kept for Jesus Christ:
2 Gott gebe euch viel Barmherzigkeit und Frieden und Liebe!
Mercy, peace, and love be multiplied to you.
3 Ihr Lieben, nachdem ich vorhatte, euch zu schreiben von unser aller Heil, hielt ich's für nötig, euch mit Schriften zu ermahnen, daß ihr für den Glauben kämpfet, der einmal den Heiligen übergeben ist.
Beloved, although I was quite eager to write to you about our common salvation, I found it necessary to write to you and urge you to contend for the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints.
4 Denn es sind etliche Menschen nebeneingeschlichen, von denen vorzeiten geschrieben ist solches Urteil: Die sind Gottlose, ziehen die Gnade unsers Gottes auf Mutwillen und verleugnen Gott und unsern HERRN Jesus Christus, den einigen Herrscher.
For certain men whose condemnation was written about long ago have crept in unnoticed. They are ungodly men who pervert the grace of our God, turning it into a license for sensuality. By doing so, they deny God, who is our only Master, and also the Lord Jesus Christ.
5 Ich will euch aber erinnern, die ihr dies ja schon wisset, daß der HERR, da er dem Volk aus Ägypten half, das andere Mal umbrachte, die da nicht glaubten.
Now I want to remind you, although you already know this, that after the Lord saved a people out of the land of Egypt, he subsequently destroyed those who did not believe.
6 Auch die Engel, die ihr Fürstentum nicht bewahrten, sondern verließen ihre Behausung, hat er behalten zum Gericht des großen Tages mit ewigen Banden in der Finsternis. (aïdios g126)
And the angels who did not keep within their proper domain, but left their own dwelling, he has kept under darkness in everlasting chains for the judgment of the great day. (aïdios g126)
7 Wie auch Sodom und Gomorra und die umliegenden Städte, die gleicherweise wie diese Unzucht getrieben haben und nach einem andern Fleisch gegangen sind, zum Beispiel gesetzt sind und leiden des ewigen Feuers Pein. (aiōnios g166)
Likewise, Sodom and Gomorrah and the cities around them, who indulged in fornication and went after strange flesh in a manner similar to those angels, serve as an example by undergoing the punishment of eternal fire. (aiōnios g166)
8 Desgleichen sind auch diese Träumer, die das Fleisch beflecken, die Herrschaft aber verachten und die Majestäten lästern.
In the same way these ungodly men, relying on their dreams, defile the flesh, reject authority, and revile glorious beings.
9 Michael aber, der Erzengel, da er mit dem Teufel stritt und mit ihm redete über den Leichnam Mose's, wagte er das Urteil der Lästerung nicht zu fällen, sondern sprach: Der HERR strafe dich!
But when Michael the archangel was contending with the devil and disputing about the body of Moses, he did not dare to bring a reviling judgment against him, but said, “May the Lord rebuke yoʋ!”
10 Diese aber lästern alles, davon sie nichts wissen; was sie aber natürlich erkennen wie die unvernünftigen Tiere, darin verderben sie.
Yet these men slander whatever they do not understand, and they are corrupted by what they, like irrational beasts, instinctively comprehend.
11 Weh ihnen! denn sie gehen den Weg Kains und fallen in den Irrtum des Bileam um Gewinnes willen und kommen um in dem Aufruhr Korahs.
Woe to them! For they went in the way of Cain, they rushed for reward to the error of Balaam, and they perished in the rebellion of Korah.
12 Diese Unfläter prassen bei euren Liebesmahlen ohne Scheu, weiden sich selbst; sie sind Wolken ohne Wasser, von dem Winde umgetrieben, kahle, unfruchtbare Bäume, zweimal erstorben und ausgewurzelt,
These men are hidden reefs at your love feasts, feeding themselves as they feast among you without fear. They are clouds without water, carried along by winds; fruitless trees in late autumn, twice dead, pulled up by the roots.
13 wilde Wellen des Meeres, die ihre eigene Schande ausschäumen, irre Sterne, welchen behalten ist das Dunkel der Finsternis in Ewigkeit. (aiōn g165)
They are wild waves of the sea, foaming out their own shameful deeds; wayward stars, for whom the thick gloom of darkness has been reserved forever. (aiōn g165)
14 Es hat aber auch von solchen geweissagt Henoch, der siebente von Adam, und gesprochen: “Siehe, der HERR kommt mit vielen tausend Heiligen,
Enoch, in the seventh generation from Adam, prophesied about these men, saying, “Behold, the Lord is coming with thousands upon thousands of his holy ones
15 Gericht zu halten über alle und zu strafen alle Gottlosen um alle Werke ihres gottlosen Wandels, womit sie gottlos gewesen sind, und um all das Harte, das die gottlosen Sünder wider ihn geredet haben.”
to execute judgment against all and to convict all the ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds that they have done in an ungodly way, and to convict ungodly sinners of all the harsh words they have spoken against him.”
16 Diese murren und klagen immerdar und wandeln dabei nach ihren Lüsten; und ihr Mund redet stolze Worte, und achten das Ansehen der Person um Nutzens willen.
These men are grumblers and complainers, walking according to their own lusts. They speak bombastic words with their mouths, admiring people for their own advantage.
17 Ihr aber, meine Lieben, erinnert euch der Worte, die zuvor gesagt sind von den Aposteln unsers HERRN Jesu Christi,
But you, beloved, must remember what the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ foretold,
18 da sie euch sagten, daß zu der letzten Zeit werden Spötter sein, die nach ihren eigenen Lüsten des gottlosen Wesens wandeln.
how they said to you, “In the end times there will be scoffers who walk according to their own ungodly lusts.”
19 Diese sind es, die da Trennungen machen, Fleischliche, die da keinen Geist haben.
These people cause divisions; they are worldly and do not have the Spirit.
20 Ihr aber, meine Lieben, erbauet euch auf euren allerheiligsten Glauben durch den heiligen Geist und betet,
But you, beloved, by building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit,
21 und erhaltet euch in der Liebe Gottes, und wartet auf die Barmherzigkeit unsers HERRN Jesu Christi zum ewigen Leben. (aiōnios g166)
must keep yourselves in the love of God as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ that leads to eternal life. (aiōnios g166)
22 Und haltet diesen Unterschied, daß ihr euch etlicher erbarmet,
Have mercy on some, using discernment;
23 etliche aber mit Furcht selig machet und rücket sie aus dem Feuer; und hasset auch den Rock, der vom Fleische befleckt ist.
and others save with fear by snatching them out of the fire, hating even the garment that is stained by the flesh.
24 Dem aber, der euch kann behüten ohne Fehl und stellen vor das Angesicht seiner Herrlichkeit unsträflich mit Freuden,
Now to him who is able to keep them from falling and to make them stand unblemished in the presence of his glory with great joy,
