Job 32

1 Da hörten die drei Männer auf, Hiob zu antworten, weil er sich für gerecht hielt.

And they ceased [the] three the men these from answering Job for he [was] righteous in own eyes his.

2 Aber Elihu, der Sohn Baracheels von Bus, des Geschlechts Rams, ward zornig über Hiob, daß er seine Seele gerechter hielt denn Gott.

And it burned [the] anger of - Elihu [the] son of Barakel the Buzite from [the] clan of Ram on Job it burned anger his because justified he self his more than God.

3 Auch ward er zornig über seine drei Freunde, daß sie keine Antwort fanden und doch Hiob verdammten.

And on [the] three companions his it burned anger his on that not they had found an answer and they had condemned as guilty Job.

4 Denn Elihu hatte geharrt, bis daß sie mit Hiob geredet hatten, weil sie älter waren als er.

And Elihu he had waited Job in words for [were] old they more than him to days.

5 Darum, da er sah, daß keine Antwort war im Munde der drei Männer, ward er zornig.

And he saw Elihu that there not [was] an answer in [the] mouth of [the] three the men and it burned anger his.

6 Und so antwortete Elihu, der Sohn Baracheels von Bus, und sprach: Ich bin jung, ihr aber seid alt; darum habe ich mich gescheut und gefürchtet, mein Wissen euch kundzutun.

And he answered - Elihu [the] son of Barakel the Buzite and he said [am] young I to days and you [are] aged there-fore I was anxious and I was afraid - from telling knowledge my you.

7 Ich dachte: Laß das Alter reden, und die Menge der Jahre laß Weisheit beweisen.

I said days let them speak and abundance of years let them make known wisdom.

8 Aber der Geist ist in den Leuten und der Odem des Allmächtigen, der sie verständig macht.

Nevertheless [is the] spirit it in a person and [the] breath of [the] Almighty [which] it gives understanding them.

9 Die Großen sind nicht immer die Weisesten, und die Alten verstehen nicht das Recht.

Not many [people] they are wise and old [people] they understand justice.

10 Darum will ich auch reden; höre mir zu. Ich will mein Wissen auch kundtun.

Therefore I say listen! to me I will tell knowledge my also I.

11 Siehe, ich habe geharrt auf das, was ihr geredet habt; ich habe aufgemerkt auf eure Einsicht, bis ihr träfet die rechte Rede,

Here! I waited for words your I gave ear to understanding your until you searched for! words.

12 und ich habe achtgehabt auf euch. Aber siehe, da ist keiner unter euch, der Hiob zurechtweise oder seiner Rede antworte.

And to you I showed myself attentive and there! there not Job [was one who] rebuked [was one who] answered words his any of you.

13 Sagt nur nicht: “Wir haben Weisheit getroffen; Gott muß ihn schlagen, kein Mensch.”

Lest you should say we have found wisdom God let him drive about him not a human.

14 Gegen mich hat er seine Worte nicht gerichtet, und mit euren Reden will ich ihm nicht antworten.

And not he has arranged against me words and with words your not I will respond to him.

15 Ach! sie sind verzagt, können nicht mehr antworten; sie können nicht mehr reden.

They are dismayed not they have answered again they have moved away from them words.

16 Weil ich denn geharrt habe, und sie konnten nicht reden (denn sie stehen still und antworten nicht mehr),

And will I wait? that not they speak that they have stood not they have answered again.

17 will ich auch mein Teil antworten und will mein Wissen kundtun.

I will answer also I part my I will tell knowledge my also I.

18 Denn ich bin der Reden so voll, daß mich der Odem in meinem Innern ängstet.

For I am full words it has constrained me [the] spirit of belly my.

19 Siehe, mein Inneres ist wie der Most, der zugestopft ist, der die neuen Schläuche zerreißt.

Here! belly my [is] like wine [which] not it is opened like wineskins new it will be split open.

20 Ich muß reden, daß ich mir Luft mache; ich muß meine Lippen auftun und antworten.

Let me speak and it may be relieved to me let me open lips my so I may answer.

21 Ich will niemands Person ansehen und will keinem Menschen schmeicheln.

May not please I lift up [the] face of anyone and to anyone not I will use flattery.

22 Denn ich weiß nicht zu schmeicheln; leicht würde mich sonst mein Schöpfer dahinraffen.

For not I know I will use flattery like a little he will carry away me [the one who] made me.
