Psalm 145
1 Ein Lob Davids. Ich will dich erhöhen, mein Gott, du König, und deinen Namen loben immer und ewiglich.
A Psalm of praise. Of David. I will extol thee, my God, O King, and I will bless thy name for ever and ever.
2 Ich will dich täglich loben und deinen Namen rühmen immer und ewiglich.
Every day will I bless thee, and I will praise thy name for ever and ever.
3 Der HERR ist groß und sehr löblich, und seine Größe ist unaussprechlich.
Great is Jehovah, and exceedingly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable.
4 Kindeskinder werden deine Werke preisen und von deiner Gewalt sagen.
One generation shall laud thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts.
5 Ich will reden von deiner herrlichen, schönen Pracht und von deinen Wundern,
I will speak of the glorious splendour of thy majesty, and of thy wondrous works.
6 daß man solle reden von deinen herrlichen Taten und daß man erzähle deine HERRLIchkeit,
And they shall tell of the might of thy terrible acts; and thy great deeds will I declare.
7 daß man preise deine große Güte und deine Gerechtigkeit rühme.
They shall abundantly utter the memory of thy great goodness, and shall sing aloud of thy righteousness.
8 Gnädig und barmherzig ist der HERR, geduldig und von großer Güte.
Jehovah is gracious and merciful; slow to anger, and of great loving-kindness.
9 Der HERR ist allen gütig und erbarmet sich aller seiner Werke.
Jehovah is good to all; and his tender mercies are over all his works.
10 Es sollen dir danken, HERR, alle deine Werke, und deine Heiligen dich loben
All thy works shall praise thee, Jehovah, and thy saints shall bless thee.
11 und die Ehre deines Königreichs rühmen und von deiner Gewalt reden,
They shall tell of the glory of thy kingdom, and speak of thy power;
12 daß den Menschenkindern deine Gewalt kund werde und die ehrliche Pracht deines Königreichs.
To make known to the children of men his mighty acts, and the glorious splendour of his kingdom.
13 Dein Reich ist ein ewiges Reich, und deine HERRSChaft währet für und für.
Thy kingdom is a kingdom of all ages, and thy dominion is throughout all generations.
14 Der HERR erhält alle, die da fallen, und richtet auf alle, die niedergeschlagen sind.
Jehovah upholdeth all that fall, and raiseth up all that are bowed down.
15 Aller Augen warten auf dich, und du gibst ihnen ihre Speise zu seiner Zeit.
The eyes of all wait upon thee; and thou givest them their food in its season.
16 Du tust deine Hand auf und erfüllest alles, was lebet, mit Wohlgefallen.
Thou openest thy hand, and satisfiest the desire of every living thing.
17 Der HERR ist gerecht in allen seinen Wegen und heilig in allen seinen Werken.
Jehovah is righteous in all his ways, and kind in all his works.
18 Der HERR ist nahe allen, die ihn anrufen, allen, die ihn mit Ernst anrufen.
Jehovah is nigh unto all that call upon him, unto all that call upon him in truth.
19 Er tut, was die Gottesfürchtigen begehren, und höret ihr Schreien und hilft ihnen.
He fulfilleth the desire of them that fear him; he heareth their cry, and saveth them.
20 Der HERR behütet alle, die ihn lieben, und wird vertilgen alle Gottlosen.
Jehovah keepeth all that love him, and all the wicked will he destroy.
21 Mein Mund soll des HERRN Lob sagen, und alles Fleisch lobe seinen heiligen Namen immer und ewiglich!
My mouth shall speak the praise of Jehovah; and let all flesh bless his holy name for ever and ever.
