Mica 7
1 Ach, es gehet mir wie einem, der im Weinberge nachlieset, da man keine Trauben findet zu essen, und wollte doch gerne der besten Früchte haben.
Woe is me, for I am become as one that gleaneth in autumn the grapes of the vintage: there is no cluster to eat, my soul desired the firstripe figs.
2 Die frommen Leute sind weg in diesem Lande; und die Gerechten sind nicht mehr unter den Leuten. Sie lauern alle aufs Blut; ein jeglicher jagt den andern, daß er ihn verderbe,
The holy man is perished out of the earth, and there is none upright among men: they all lie in wait for blood, every one hunteth his brother to death.
3 und meinen, sie tun wohl daran, wenn sie Böses tun. Was der Fürst will, das spricht der Richter, daß er ihm wieder einen Dienst tun soll. Die Gewaltigen raten nach ihrem Mutwillen, Schaden zu tun, und drehen es, wie sie wollen.
The evil of their hands they call good: the prince requireth, and the judge is for giving: and the great man hath uttered the desire of his soul, and they have troubled it.
4 Der Beste unter ihnen ist wie ein Dorn und der Redlichste wie eine Hecke. Aber wenn der Tag deiner Prediger kommen wird, wenn du heimgesucht sollst werden, da werden sie dann nicht wissen, wo aus.
He that is best among them, is as a brier: and he that is righteous, as the thorn of the hedge. The day of thy inspection, thy visitation cometh: now shall be their destruction.
5 Niemand glaube seinem Nächsten, niemand verlasse sich auf Fürsten! Bewahre die Tür deines Mundes vor der, die in deinen Armen schläft!
Believe not a friend, and trust not in a prince: keep the doors of thy mouth from her that sleepeth in thy bosom.
6 Denn der Sohn verachtet den Vater, die Tochter setzt sich wider die Mutter, die Schnur ist wider die Schwieger; und des Menschen Feinde sind sein eigen Hausgesinde.
For the son dishonoureth the father, and the daughter riseth up against her mother, the daughter in law against her mother in law: and a man’s enemies are they of his own household.
7 Ich aber will auf den HERRN schauen und des Gottes meines Heils erwarten; mein Gott wird mich hören.
But I will look towards the Lord, I will wait for God my Saviour: my God will hear me.
8 Freue dich nicht, meine Feindin, daß ich daniederliege! Ich werde wieder aufkommen. Und so ich im Finstern sitze, so ist doch der HERR mein Licht.
Rejoice not, thou, my enemy, over me, because I am fallen: I shall arise, when I sit in darkness, the Lord is my light.
9 Ich will des HERRN Zorn tragen, denn ich habe wider ihn gesündiget, bis er meine Sache ausführe und mir Recht schaffe. Er wird mich ans Licht bringen, daß ich meine Lust an seiner Gnade sehe.
I will bear the wrath of the Lord, because I have sinned against him; until he judge my cause and execute judgment for me: he will bring me forth into the light, I shall behold his justice.
10 Meine Feindin wird's sehen müssen und mit aller Schande bestehen, die jetzt zu mir sagt: Wo ist der HERR, dein Gott? Meine Augen werden's sehen, daß sie dann wie ein Kot auf der Gasse zertreten wird.
And my enemy shall behold, and she shall be covered with shame, who saith to me: Where is the Lord thy God? My eyes shall look down upon her: now shall she be trodden under foot as the mire of the streets.
11 Zu der Zeit werden deine Mauern gebauet werden und Gottes Wort weit auskommen.
The day shall come, that thy walls may be built up: in that day shall the law be far removed.
12 Und zur selbigen Zeit werden sie von Assur und von festen Städten zu dir kommen, von den festen Städten bis an das Wasser, von einem Meer zum andern, von einem Gebirge zum andern.
In that day they shall come even from Assyria to thee, and to the fortified cities: and from the fortified cities even to the river, and from sea to sea, and from mountain to mountain.
13 Denn das Land wird wüst sein seiner Einwohner halben, um der Frucht willen ihrer Werke.
And the land shall be made desolate, because of the inhabitants thereof, and for the fruit of their devices.
14 Du aber weide dein Volk mit deinem Stabe, die Herde deines Erbteils, die da wohnen beide, im Walde alleine und auf dem Felde; laß sie zu Basan und Gilead weiden wie vor alters!
Feed thy people with thy rod, the flock of thy inheritance, them that dwell alone in the forest, in the midst of Carmel: they shall feed in Basan and Galaad according to the days of old.
15 Ich will sie Wunder sehen lassen, gleichwie zu der Zeit, da sie aus Ägyptenland zogen,
According to the days of thy coming out of the land of Egypt I will shew him wonders.
16 daß die Heiden sehen, und alle ihre Gewaltigen sich schämen sollen und die Hand auf ihren Mund legen und ihre Ohren zuhalten.
The nations shall see, and shall be confounded at all their strength: they shall put the hand upon the mouth, their ears shall be deaf.
17 Sie sollen Staub lecken wie die Schlangen und wie das Gewürm auf Erden erzittern in ihren Löchern. Sie werden sich fürchten vor dem HERRN, unserm Gott, und vor dir sich entsetzen.
They shall lick the dust like serpents, as the creeping things of the earth, they shall be disturbed in their houses: they shall dread the Lord our God, and shall fear thee.
18 Wo ist solch ein Gott, wie du bist? der die Sünde vergibt und erlässet die Missetat den Übrigen seines Erbteils; der seinen Zorn nicht ewiglich behält; denn er ist barmherzig.
Who is a God like to thee, who takest away iniquity, and passest by the sin of the remnant of thy inheritance? he will send his fury in no more, because he delighteth in mercy.
19 Er wird sich unser wieder erbarmen, unsere Missetat dämpfen und alle unsere Sünden in die Tiefe des Meers werfen.
He will turn again, and have mercy on us: he will put away our iniquities: and he will cast all our sins into the bottom of the sea.
20 Du wirst dem Jakob die Treue und Abraham die Gnade halten, wie du unsern Vätern vorlängst geschworen hast.
Thou wilt perform the truth of Jacob, the mercy to Abraham: which thou hast sworn to our fathers from the days of old.
