Lukas 6
1 Und es begab sich an einem Sabbat, daß er durchs Getreide ging; und seine Jünger rauften Ähren aus und aßen und rieben sie mit den Händen.
And it came to pass on the second sabbath after the first, that he went through the corn fields; and his disciples plucked the ears of corn, and did eat, rubbing them in their hands.
2 Etliche aber der Pharisäer sprachen zu ihnen: Warum tut ihr, was sich nicht ziemet zu tun an den Sabbaten?
And certain of the Pharisees said to them, Why do you that which is not lawful to do on the sabbath days?
3 Und Jesus antwortete und sprach zu ihnen: Habt ihr nicht das gelesen, was David tat, da ihn hungerte, und die mit ihm waren:
And Jesus answering them said, Have you not read so much as this, what David did, when himself was an hungered, and they which were with him;
4 wie er zum Hause Gottes einging und nahm die Schaubrote und aß und gab auch denen, die mit ihm waren, die doch niemand durfte essen ohne die Priester alleine?
How he went into the house of God, and did take and eat the show bread, and gave also to them that were with him; which it is not lawful to eat but for the priests alone?
5 Und sprach zu ihnen: Des Menschen Sohn ist ein HERR auch des Sabbats.
And he said to them, That the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.
6 Es geschah aber auf einen andern Sabbat, daß er ging in die Schule und lehrete. Und da war ein Mensch, des rechte Hand war verdorret.
And it came to pass also on another sabbath, that he entered into the synagogue and taught: and there was a man whose right hand was withered.
7 Aber die Schriftgelehrten und Pharisäer hielten auf ihn, ob er auch heilen würde am Sabbat, auf daß sie eine Sache wider ihn fänden.
And the scribes and Pharisees watched him, whether he would heal on the sabbath day; that they might find an accusation against him.
8 Er aber merkete ihre Gedanken und sprach zu dem Menschen mit der dürren Hand: Stehe auf und tritt hervor! Und er stund auf und trat dahin.
But he knew their thoughts, and said to the man which had the withered hand, Rise up, and stand forth in the middle. And he arose and stood forth.
9 Da sprach Jesus zu ihnen: Ich frage euch: Was ziemet sich zu tun an den Sabbaten, Gutes oder Böses, das Leben erhalten oder verderben?
Then said Jesus to them, I will ask you one thing; Is it lawful on the sabbath days to do good, or to do evil? to save life, or to destroy it?
10 Und er sah sie alle umher an und sprach zu dem Menschen: Strecke aus deine Hand! Und er tat's. Da ward ihm seine Hand wieder zurechtgebracht, gesund wie die andere.
And looking round about on them all, he said to the man, Stretch forth your hand. And he did so: and his hand was restored whole as the other.
11 Sie aber wurden ganz unsinnig und beredeten sich miteinander, was sie ihm tun wollten.
And they were filled with madness; and communed one with another what they might do to Jesus.
12 Es begab sich aber zu der Zeit, daß er ging auf einen Berg, zu beten; und er blieb über Nacht in dem Gebet zu Gott.
And it came to pass in those days, that he went out into a mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God.
13 Und da es Tag ward, rief er seine Jünger und erwählete ihrer zwölf, welche er auch Apostel nannte:
And when it was day, he called to him his disciples: and of them he chose twelve, whom also he named apostles;
14 Simon, welchen er Petrus nannte, und Andreas, seinen Bruder, Jakobus und Johannes, Philippus und Bartholomäus,
Simon, (whom he also named Peter, ) and Andrew his brother, James and John, Philip and Bartholomew,
15 Matthäus und Thomas, Jakobus, des Alphäus Sohn, Simon, genannt Zelotes,
Matthew and Thomas, James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon called Zelotes,
16 Judas, des Jakobus Sohn, und Judas Ischariot, den Verräter.
And Judas the brother of James, and Judas Iscariot, which also was the traitor.
17 Und er ging hernieder mit ihnen und trat auf einen Platz im Felde, und der Haufe seiner Jünger und eine große Menge des Volks von allem jüdischen Lande und Jerusalem und Tyrus und Sidon, am Meer gelegen,
And he came down with them, and stood in the plain, and the company of his disciples, and a great multitude of people out of all Judaea and Jerusalem, and from the sea coast of Tyre and Sidon, which came to hear him, and to be healed of their diseases;
18 die da kommen waren, ihn zu hören, und daß sie geheilet würden von ihren Seuchen, und die von unsaubern Geistern umgetrieben wurden, die wurden gesund.
And they that were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed.
19 Und alles Volk begehrete, ihn anzurühren, denn es ging Kraft von ihm; und heilete sie alle.
And the whole multitude sought to touch him: for there went virtue out of him, and healed them all.
20 Und er hub seine Augen auf über seine Jünger und sprach: Selig seid ihr Armen; denn das Reich Gottes ist euer.
And he lifted up his eyes on his disciples, and said, Blessed be you poor: for yours is the kingdom of God.
21 Selig seid ihr, die ihr hier hungert; denn ihr sollet satt werden. Selig seid ihr, die ihr hier weinet; denn ihr werdet lachen.
Blessed are you that hunger now: for you shall be filled. Blessed are you that weep now: for you shall laugh.
22 Selig seid ihr, so euch die Menschen hassen und euch absondern und schelten euch und verwerfen euren Namen als einen boshaftigen um des Menschensohns willen.
Blessed are you, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man’s sake.
23 Freuet euch alsdann und hüpfet; denn siehe, euer Lohn ist groß im Himmel. Desgleichen taten ihre Väter den Propheten auch.
Rejoice you in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers to the prophets.
24 Aber dagegen wehe euch Reichen! denn ihr habt euren Trost dahin.
But woe to you that are rich! for you have received your consolation.
25 Wehe euch, die ihr voll seid! denn euch wird hungern. Wehe euch, die ihr hier lachet! denn ihr werdet weinen und heulen.
Woe to you that are full! for you shall hunger. Woe to you that laugh now! for you shall mourn and weep.
26 Wehe euch, wenn euch jedermann wohl redet! Desgleichen taten ihre Väter den falschen Propheten auch:
Woe to you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets.
27 Aber ich sage euch, die ihr zuhöret: Liebet eure Feinde; tut denen wohl, die euch hassen;
But I say to you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you,
28 segnet die, so euch verfluchen; bittet für die, so euch beleidigen.
Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which spitefully use you.
29 Und wer dich schlägt auf einen Backen, dem biete den andern auch dar; und wer dir den Mantel nimmt, dem wehre nicht auch den Rock.
And to him that smites you on the one cheek offer also the other; and him that takes away your cloak forbid not to take your coat also.
30 Wer dich bittet, dem gib; und wer dir das Deine nimmt, da fordere es nicht wieder.
Give to every man that asks of you; and of him that takes away your goods ask them not again.
31 Und wie ihr wollet, daß euch die Leute tun sollen, also tut ihnen gleich auch ihr.
And as you would that men should do to you, do you also to them likewise.
32 Und so ihr liebet, die euch lieben, was Danks habt ihr davon? Denn die Sünder lieben auch ihre Liebhaber.
For if you love them which love you, what thank have you? for sinners also love those that love them.
33 Und wenn ihr euren Wohltätern wohl tut, was Danks habt ihr davon? Denn die Sünder tun dasselbige auch.
And if you do good to them which do good to you, what thank have you? for sinners also do even the same.
34 Und wenn ihr leihet, von denen ihr hoffet zu nehmen, was Danks habt ihr davon? Denn die Sünder leihen den Sündern auch, auf daß sie Gleiches wieder nehmen.
And if you lend to them of whom you hope to receive, what thank have you? for sinners also lend to sinners, to receive as much again.
35 Doch aber liebet eure Feinde; tut wohl und leihet, daß ihr nichts dafür hoffet, so wird euer Lohn groß sein, und werdet Kinder des Allerhöchsten sein. Denn er ist gütig über die Undankbaren und Boshaftigen.
But love you your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and you shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind to the unthankful and to the evil.
36 Darum seid barmherzig, wie auch euer Vater barmherzig ist.
Be you therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.
37 Richtet nicht, so werdet ihr auch nicht gerichtet. Verdammet nicht, so werdet ihr auch nicht verdammet. Vergebet, so wird euch vergeben.
Judge not, and you shall not be judged: condemn not, and you shall not be condemned: forgive, and you shall be forgiven:
38 Gebt, so wird euch gegeben. Ein voll, gedrückt, gerüttelt und überflüssig Maß wird man in euren Schoß geben; denn eben mit dem Maß, da ihr mit messet, wird man euch wieder messen.
Give, and it shall be given to you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that you mete with it shall be measured to you again.
39 Und er sagte ihnen ein Gleichnis: Mag auch ein Blinder einem Blinden den Weg weisen? Werden sie nicht alle beide in die Grube fallen?
And he spoke a parable to them, Can the blind lead the blind? shall they not both fall into the ditch?
40 Der Jünger ist nicht über seinen Meister; wenn der Jünger ist wie sein Meister, so ist er vollkommen.
The disciple is not above his master: but every one that is perfect shall be as his master.
41 Was siehest du aber einen Splitter in deines Bruders Auge, und des Balkens in deinem Auge wirst du nicht gewahr?
And why behold you the mote that is in your brother’s eye, but perceive not the beam that is in your own eye?
42 Oder wie kannst du sagen zu deinem Bruder: Halt stille, Bruder! Ich will den Splitter aus deinem Auge ziehen; und du siehest selbst nicht den Balken in deinem Auge? Du Heuchler! Zieh zuvor den Balken aus deinem Auge und besiehe dann, daß du den Splitter aus deines Bruders Auge ziehest.
Either how can you say to your brother, Brother, let me pull out the mote that is in your eye, when you yourself behold not the beam that is in your own eye? You hypocrite, cast out first the beam out of your own eye, and then shall you see clearly to pull out the mote that is in your brother’s eye.
43 Denn es ist kein guter Baum, der faule Frucht trage, und kein fauler Baum, der gute Frucht trage.
For a good tree brings not forth corrupt fruit; neither does a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
44 Ein jeglicher Baum wird an seiner eigenen Frucht erkannt. Denn man lieset nicht Feigen von den Dornen auch so lieset man nicht Trauben von den Hecken.
For every tree is known by his own fruit. For of thorns men do not gather figs, nor of a bramble bush gather they grapes.
45 Ein guter Mensch bringt Gutes hervor aus dem guten Schatz seines Herzens; und ein boshaftiger Mensch bringt Böses hervor aus dem bösen Schatz. seines Herzens. Denn wes das Herz voll ist, des gehet der Mund über.
A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.
46 Was heißet ihr mich aber HERR, HERR, und tut nicht, was ich euch sage?
And why call you me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?
47 Wer zu mir kommt und höret meine Rede und tut sie, den will ich euch zeigen, wem er gleich ist.
Whoever comes to me, and hears my sayings, and does them, I will show you to whom he is like:
48 Er ist gleich einem Menschen, der ein Haus bauete und grub tief und legte den Grund auf den Fels. Da aber Gewässer kam, da riß der Strom zum Hause zu und mochte es nicht bewegen; denn es war auf den Fels gegründet
He is like a man which built an house, and dig deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently on that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded on a rock.
49 Wer aber höret und nicht tut, der ist gleich einem Menschen, der ein Haus bauete auf die Erde ohne Grund; und der Strom riß zu ihm zu, und es fiel bald, und das Haus gewann einen großen Riß.
But he that hears, and does not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house on the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great.
