Lukas 21
1 Er sah aber auf und schauete die Reichen, wie sie ihre Opfer einlegten in den Gotteskasten.
And he looked up and saw the rich men casting their gifts into the treasury.
2 Er sah aber auch eine arme Witwe, die legte zwei Scherflein ein.
And he saw also a certain poor widow casting in thither two mites.
3 Und er sprach: Wahrlich, ich sage euch, diese arme Witwe hat mehr denn sie alle eingelegt.
And he said, In truth I say to you, that this poor widow hath cast in more than they all.
4 Denn diese alle haben aus ihrem Überfluß eingelegt zu dem Opfer Gottes; sie aber hat von ihrer Armut alle ihre Nahrung, die sie hatte, eingelegt.
For all these out of their abundance cast in to the offerings; but she out of her penury cast in all the living that she had.
5 Und da etliche sagten von dem Tempel, daß er geschmückt wäre von feinen Steinen und Kleinoden, sprach er:
And as some were saying of the temple, that it was adorned with goodly stones, and sacred gifts, he said,
6 Es wird die Zeit kommen, in welcher des alles, das ihr sehet, nicht ein Stein auf dem andern gelassen wird, der nicht zerbrochen werde.
As for these things which ye behold, the days will come, in which there will not be left here one stone upon another, that will not be throw down.
7 Sie fragten ihn aber und sprachen: Meister, wann soll das werden? und welches ist das Zeichen, wann das geschehen wird?
And they asked him, saying, Teacher, when then will these things be? and what will be the sign when these things are about to come to pass?
8 Er aber sprach: Sehet zu, lasset euch nicht verführen! Denn viele werden kommen in meinem Namen und sagen, ich sei es, und: Die Zeit ist herbeikommen. Folget ihnen nicht nach!
And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived. For many will come in my name, saying, I am He, and the time is at hand. Go not after them.
9 Wenn ihr aber hören werdet von Kriegen und Empörungen, so entsetzet euch nicht. Denn solches muß zuvor geschehen; aber das Ende ist noch nicht so bald da.
And when ye hear of wars and tumults, be not terrified; for these things must first come to pass; but not immediately is the end.
10 Da sprach er zu ihnen: Ein Volk wird sich erheben über das andere und ein Reich über das andere.
Then he said to them, Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom;
11 Und werden geschehen große Erdbebungen hin und her, teure Zeit und Pestilenz. Auch werden Schrecknisse und große Zeichen vom Himmel geschehen.
and there will be great earthquakes, and in divers places famines and pestilences; and there will be fearful sights and great signs from heaven.
12 Aber vor diesem allem werden sie die Hände an euch legen und verfolgen und werden euch überantworten in ihre Schulen und Gefängnisse und vor Könige und Fürsten ziehen um meines Namens willen.
But before all these things they will lay their hands on you and persecute you, delivering you up to synagogues, and into prisons, and bringing you before kings and governors on account of my name.
13 Das wird euch aber widerfahren zu einem Zeugnis.
It will turn out to you an opportunity for bearing testimony.
14 So nehmet nun zu Herzen, daß ihr nicht sorget, wie ihr euch verantworten sollt.
Settle it therefore in your hearts not to meditate l beforehand what ye shall answer.
15 Denn ich will euch Mund und Weisheit geben, welcher nicht sollen widersprechen mögen noch widerstehen alle eure Widerwärtigen.
For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries will not be able to withstand or gainsay.
16 Ihr werdet aber überantwortet werden von den Eltern, Brüdern, Gefreundeten und Freunden; und sie werden euer etliche töten.
And ye will be delivered up both by parents and brothers and kinsmen and friends; and some of you will they put to death.
17 Und ihr werdet gehasset sein von jedermann um meines Namens willen.
And ye will be hated by all on account of my name.
18 Und ein Haar von eurem Haupt soll nicht umkommen.
But not a hair of your head will be lost.
19 Fasset eure Seelen mit Geduld!
By your constancy secure your lives.
20 Wenn ihr aber sehen werdet Jerusalem belagert mit einem Heer, so merket, daß herbeikommen ist ihre Verwüstung.
But when ye see Jerusalem encompassed by armies, then know that her desolation is at hand.
21 Alsdann wer in Judäa ist, der fliehe auf das Gebirge; und wer mitten drinnen ist, der weiche heraus; und wer auf dem Lande ist, der komme nicht hinein.
Then let those who are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let those who are within the city go out of it, and let not those in the open country enter it.
22 Denn das sind die Tage der Rache, daß erfüllet werde alles, was geschrieben ist.
For these are days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.
23 Wehe aber den Schwangern und Säugerinnen in denselbigen Tagen! Denn es wird große Not auf Erden sein und ein Zorn über dies Volk.
But woe to the women with child, and to those having children at the breast, in those days! For there will be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people;
24 Und sie werden fallen durch des Schwertes Schärfe und gefangen geführt unter alle Völker; und Jerusalem wird zertreten werden von den Heiden, bis daß der Heiden Zeit erfüllet wird.
and they will fall by the edge of the sword, and will be led away captive into all the nations; and Jerusalem will be trodden down by the gentiles, until the times of the gentiles are fulfilled.
25 Und es werden Zeichen geschehen an der Sonne und Mond und Sternen; und auf Erden wird den Leuten bange sein und werden zagen; und das Meer und die Wasserwogen werden brausen.
And there will be signs in the sun and moon and stars; and on the earth distress of nations, in perplexity at the roaring of the sea and waves;
26 Und die Menschen werden verschmachten vor Furcht und vor Warten der Dinge, die kommen sollen auf Erden; denn auch der Himmel Kräfte werden sich bewegen.
men's hearts failing them from fear, and from looking for those things which are coming on the world; for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.
27 Und alsdann werden sie sehen des Menschen Sohn kommen in der Wolke mit großer Kraft und HERRLIchkeit.
And then will they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
28 Wenn aber dieses anfänget zu geschehen, so sehet auf und hebet eure Häupter auf, darum daß sich eure Erlösung nahet.
And when these things begin to come to pass, look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
29 Und er sagte ihnen ein Gleichnis: Sehet an den Feigenbaum und alle Bäume!
And he spoke to them a parable: Behold the fig-tree and all the trees;
30 Wenn sie jetzt ausschlagen, so sehet ihr's an ihnen und merket, daß jetzt der Sommer nahe ist.
when they have already shot forth, ye see it, and know of yourselves that summer is now nigh at hand.
31 Also auch ihr, wenn ihr dies alles sehet angehen, so wisset, daß das Reich Gottes nahe ist.
So also, when ye see these things coming to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.
32 Wahrlich, ich sage euch, dies Geschlecht wird nicht vergehen, bis daß es alles geschehe.
Truly do I say to you, that this generation will not pass away, till all shall have taken place.
33 Himmel und Erde werden vergehen, aber meine Worte vergehen nicht.
Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.
34 Aber hütet euch, daß eure Herzen nicht beschweret werden mit Fressen und Saufen und mit Sorgen der Nahrung, und komme dieser Tag schnell über euch;
But take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be weighed down with surfeiting and drunkenness and worldly cares, and that day come upon you unawares.
35 denn wie ein Fallstrick wird er kommen über alle, die auf Erden wohnen.
For as a snare will it come on all that dwell on the face of the whole earth.
36 So seid nun wacker allezeit und betet, daß ihr würdig werden möget, zu entfliehen diesem allem, was geschehen soll, und zu stehen vor des Menschen Sohn.
But watch at all times, and pray that ye may be able to escape all the things that are about to come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
37 Und er lehrete des Tages im Tempel; des Nachts aber ging er aus und blieb über Nacht am Ölberge.
And during the daytime he was teaching in the temple; but at night he went out, and lodged in the mount called the Mount of Olives.
38 Und alles Volk machte sich frühe auf zu ihm, im Tempel ihn zu hören.
And all the people came early in the morning to him in the temple, to hear him.
