Lukas 15
1 Es naheten aber zu ihm allerlei Zöllner und Sünder, daß sie ihn höreten.
Then drew near to him the publicans and sinners to hear him.
2 Und die Pharisäer und Schriftgelehrten murreten und sprachen: Dieser nimmt die Sünder an und isset mit ihnen.
And the Sophree and Pharishee murmured, and said, This (man) receiveth sinners, and eateth with them.
3 Er sagte aber zu ihnen dies Gleichnis und sprach:
And Jeshu spake to them this parable:
4 Welcher Mensch ist unter euch, der hundert Schafe hat, und so er der eines verlieret, der nicht lasse die neunundneunzig in der Wüste und hingehe nach dem verloren, bis daß er's finde?
What man of you, who hath a hundred sheep, if he shall lose one from them, does not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and, going, seeketh that which was lost until he shall have found it?
5 Und wenn er's funden hat, so legt er's auf seine Achseln mit Freuden.
And when he hath found it, he rejoiceth and carrieth it upon his shoulders.
6 Und wenn er heimkommt, ruft er seine Freunde und Nachbarn und spricht zu ihnen: Freuet euch mit mir; denn ich habe mein Schaf funden, das verloren war.
And, coming to his house, he calleth his friends and his neighbours, and saith to them, Rejoice with me; for I have found the sheep which was lost.
7 Ich sage euch: Also wird auch Freude im Himmel sein über einen Sünder, der Buße tut, vor neunundneunzig Gerechten, die der Buße nicht bedürfen.
I say to you, that thus shall there be joy in heaven over one sinner who repenteth, more than over the ninety and nine just ones who have no need of repentance.
8 Oder welch Weib ist, die zehn Groschen hat, so sie der einen verlieret, die nicht ein Licht anzünde und kehre das Haus und suche mit Fleiß, bis daß sie ihn finde?
Or, who is the woman that hath ten zuzis, and shall lose one of them, (and) does not light a lamp and sweep the house, and seek it diligently, until she shall have found it?
9 Und wenn sie ihn funden hat, rufet sie ihre Freundinnen und Nachbarinnen und spricht: Freuet euch mit mir; denn ich habe meinen Groschen funden, den ich verloren hatte.
And when she hath found it, she calleth her friends and her neighbours, and saith to them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my zuzi that I had lost.
10 Also auch, sage ich euch, wird Freude sein vor den Engeln Gottes über einen Sünder, der Buße tut.
I say to you, that so shall there be joy before the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.
11 Und er sprach: Ein Mensch hatte zwei Söhne.
AND Jeshu said to them again, A certain man had two sons;
12 Und der jüngste unter ihnen sprach zum Vater: Gib mir, Vater, das Teil der Güter, das mir gehört! Und er teilete ihnen das Gut.
and his minor son said to him, My father, give to me my division of the goods of thy house. And he divided to them his substance.
13 Und nicht lange danach sammelte der jüngste Sohn alles zusammen und zog ferne über Land; und daselbst brachte er sein Gut um mit Prassen.
And after a few days the minor son gathered together his all whatsoever, and went into a distant country, and there dispersed his substance in living profusely.
14 Da er nun all das Seine verzehret hatte, ward eine große Teurung durch dasselbige ganze Land, und er fing an zu darben.
And when every thing he had was finished, there was a great famine in that country; and he began to want.
15 Und ging hin und hängete sich an einen Bürger desselbigen Landes, der schickte ihn auf seinen Acker, die Säue zu hüten.
And he went and joined himself to one of the sons of the city of that place; and he sent him into the field to tend the swine.
16 Und er begehrte seinen Bauch zu füllen mit Trebern, die die Säue aßen; und niemand gab sie ihm.
And he had a desire to fill his belly with those karubs which the swine did eat; and no man gave to him.
17 Da schlug er in sich und sprach: Wieviel Tagelöhner hat mein Vater, die Brot die Fülle haben, und ich verderbe im Hunger!
And when he came to himself, he said, How many hirelings are there now in my father's house, who have abundance of bread, and I here with hunger am perishing!
18 Ich will mich aufmachen und zu meinem Vater gehen und zu ihm sagen: Vater, ich habe gesündiget gegen den Himmel und vor dir
I will arise, go to my father, and say to him, My father, I have sinned against heaven and before thee,
19 und bin fort nicht mehr wert, daß ich dein Sohn heiße; mache mich zu einem deiner Tagelöhner.
and am no more worthy thy son to be called: make me as one of thy hirelings.
20 Und er machte sich auf und kam zu seinem Vater. Da er aber noch ferne von dannen war, sah ihn sein Vater, und jammerte ihn, lief und fiel ihm um seinen Hals und küssete ihn.
And he arose, (and) went to his father. And while he was (yet) afar, his father saw him, and had compassion upon him, and ran, fell upon his neck, and kissed him.
21 Der Sohn aber sprach zu ihm: Vater, ich habe gesündiget gegen den Himmel und vor dir; ich bin fort nicht mehr wert, daß ich dein Sohn heiße.
And his son said to him, My father, I have sinned against heaven and before thee, and am not worthy thy son to be called.
22 Aber der Vater sprach zu seinen Knechten: Bringet das beste Kleid hervor und tut es ihm an; und gebet ihm einen Fingerreif an seine Hand und Schuhe an seine Füße;
But his father said to his servants, Bring forth the first robe to clothe him, and put a ring upon his hand, and let him be, shod with sandals,
23 und bringet ein gemästet Kalb her und schlachtet es: lasset uns essen und fröhlich sein!
and bring, kill the calf that is fat, and let us eat and be glad;
24 Denn dieser mein Sohn war tot und ist wieder lebendig worden; er war verloren und ist funden worden. Und fingen an fröhlich zu sein.
for this my son was dead, and he is alive; he was lost, and is found. And they began to rejoice.
25 Aber der älteste Sohn war auf dem Felde, und als er nahe zum Hause kam, hörete er das Gesänge und den Reigen
But he, the elder son, was in the field; and as he came and drew near to the house, he heard the voice of music;
26 und rief zu sich der Knechte einen und fragte, was das wäre.
and he called one of the youths, and asked him what this was.
27 Der aber sagte ihm: Dein Bruder ist kommen, und dein Vater hat ein gemästet Kalb geschlachtet, daß, er ihn gesund wieder hat.
He said to him, Thy brother hath come, and thy father hath killed the calf that was fat, because he hath received him well.
28 Da ward er zornig und wollte nicht hineingehen. Da ging sein Vater heraus und bat ihn.
And he was angry, and would not go in. And his father came forth and besought him.
29 Er antwortete aber und sprach zum Vater: Siehe, so viel Jahre diene ich dir und habe dein Gebot noch nie übertreten, und du hast mir nie einen Bock gegeben, daß ich mit meinen Freunden fröhlich wäre.
But he said to his father, Behold, how many years have I wrought thee service, and never have I transgressed thy commandment: yet never hast thou given me a kid, that I might feast with my friends.
30 Nun aber dieser dein Sohn kommen ist, der sein Gut mit Huren verschlungen hat, hast du ihm ein gemästet Kalb geschlachtet.
But this thy son, when he hath wasted thy substance with harlots, and hath come, thou hast killed for him the fatted calf.
31 Er aber sprach zu ihm: Mein Sohn, du bist allezeit bei mir, und alles, was mein ist, das ist dein.
His father saith to him, My son, thou in all time art with me, and every thing that I have is thine.
32 Du solltest aber fröhlich und gutes Muts sein; denn dieser dein Bruder war tot und ist wieder lebendig worden; er war verloren und ist wieder funden.
But to rejoice it behoves us, and to be glad, because this thy brother was dead, and is alive; and was lost, and is found.
