Jesaja 54
1 Rühme, du Unfruchtbare, die du nicht gebierest; freue dich mit Ruhm und jauchze, die du nicht schwanger bist! Denn die Einsame hat mehr Kinder, weder die den Mann hat, spricht der HERR.
Give praise, you who are barren and unable to conceive. Sing praise and make a joyful noise, you who have not given birth. For many are the children of the desolate, more so than of her who has a husband, says the Lord.
2 Mache den Raum deiner Hütte weit und breite aus die Teppiche deiner Wohnung, spare sein nicht; dehne deine Seile lang und stecke deine Nägel fest!
Enlarge the place of your tent and extend the skins of your tabernacles, unsparingly. Lengthen your cords, and strengthen your stakes.
3 Denn du wirst ausbrechen zur Rechten und zur Linken; und dein Same wird die Heiden erben und in den verwüsteten Städten wohnen.
For you shall extend to the right and to the left. And your offspring shall inherit the nations, and you shall inhabit the desolate cities.
4 Fürchte dich nicht, denn du sollst nicht zuschanden werden; werde nicht blöde, denn du sollst nicht zu Spott werden, sondern du wirst der Schande deiner Jungfrauschaft vergessen und der Schmach deiner Witwenschaft nicht mehr gedenken.
Do not be afraid! For you will not be confounded, and you will not blush. And you will not be put to shame, because you shall forget the confusion of your youth, and you shall no longer remember the disgrace of your widowhood.
5 Denn der dich gemacht hat, ist dein Mann; HERR Zebaoth heißt sein Name; und dein Erlöser, der Heilige in Israel, der aller Welt Gott genannt wird.
For the One who made you will rule over you. The Lord of hosts is his name. And your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel, will be called the God of all the earth.
6 Denn der HERR hat dich lassen im Geschrei sein, daß du seiest wie ein verlassen und von Herzen betrübt Weib und wie ein junges Weib, das verstoßen ist, spricht dein Gott.
For the Lord has called you, like a woman forsaken and mourning in spirit, and like a wife rejected in her youth, said your God.
7 Ich habe dich einen deinen Augenblick verlassen; aber mit großer Barmherzigkeit will ich dich sammeln.
For a brief moment, I have forsaken you, and with great pities, I will gather you.
8 Ich habe mein Angesicht im Augenblick des Zorns ein wenig von dir verborgen; aber mit ewiger Gnade will ich mich dein erbarmen, spricht der HERR, dein Erlöser.
In a moment of indignation, I have hidden my face from you, for a little while. But with everlasting mercy, I have taken pity on you, said your Redeemer, the Lord.
9 Denn solches soll mir sein wie das Wasser Noahs, da ich schwur, daß die Wasser Noahs sollten nicht mehr über den Erdboden gehen. Also habe ich geschworen, daß ich nicht über dich zürnen noch dich schelten will.
For me, it is just as in the days of Noah, to whom I swore that I would no longer bring in the waters of Noah over the earth. Thus have I sworn not to be angry with you, and not to rebuke you.
10 Denn es sollen wohl Berge weichen und Hügel hinfallen; aber meine Gnade soll nicht von dir weichen, und der Bund meines Friedens soll nicht hinfallen, spricht der HERR, dein Erbarmer.
For the mountains will be moved, and the hills will tremble. But my mercy will not depart from you, and the covenant of my peace will not be shaken, said the Lord, who has compassion on you.
11 Du Elende, über die alle Wetter gehen, und du Trostlose! Siehe, ich will deine Steine wie einen Schmuck legen und will deinen Grund mit Saphiren legen
O poor little ones, convulsed by the tempest, away from any consolation! Behold, I will set your stones in order, and I will lay your foundation with sapphires,
12 und deine Fenster aus Kristallen machen und deine Tore von Rubinen und alle deine Grenzen von erwählten Steinen;
and I will make your ramparts out of jasper, and your gates out of sculpted stones, and all your borders out of desirable stones.
13 und alle deine Kinder gelehrt vom HERRN und großen Frieden deinen Kindern.
All your children will be taught by the Lord. And great will be the peace of your children.
14 Du sollst durch Gerechtigkeit bereitet werden. Du wirst ferne sein von Gewalt und Unrecht, daß du dich davor nicht dürfest fürchten, und von Schrecken, denn es soll nicht zu dir nahen.
And you will be founded in justice. Depart far from oppression, for you will not be afraid. And depart from terror, for it will not approach you.
15 Siehe, wer will sich wieder dich rotten und dich überfallen, so sie sich ohne mich rotten?
Behold, a settler will arrive, who was not with me, a certain new arrival will be joined to you.
16 Siehe, ich schaffe es, daß der Schmied, so die Kohlen im Feuer aufbläset, einen Zeug daraus mache zu seinem Werk; denn ich schaffe es, daß der Verderber umkommt.
Behold, I created the smith who fans the coals of the fire and produces an object by his work, and I have created the slayer who destroys.
17 Denn aller Zeug, der wider dich zubereitet wird, dem soll nicht, gelingen, und alle Zunge, so sich wider dich setzt, sollst du im Gericht verdammen. Das ist das Erbe der Knechte des HERRN und ihre Gerechtigkeit von mir, spricht der HERR.
No object which has been formed to use against you will succeed. And every tongue that resists you in judgment, you shall judge. This is the inheritance of the servants of the Lord, and this is their justice with me, says the Lord.
