Hesekiel 26
1 Und es begab sich im elften Jahr, am ersten Tage des ersten Monden, geschah des HERRN Wort zu mir und sprach:
And it came to pass in the eleventh year, on the first of the month, [that] the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,
2 Du Menschenkind, darum daß Tyrus spricht über Jerusalem: Heh, die Pforten der Völker sind zerbrochen, es ist zu mir gewandt; ich werde nun voll werden, weil sie wüste ist:
Son of man, because Tyre hath said against Jerusalem, Aha, she is broken, the gate of the peoples! she is turned unto me: I shall be replenished [now] she is laid waste;
3 darum spricht der HERR HERR also: Siehe, ich will an dich, Tyrus, und will viel Heiden über dich heraufbringen, gleichwie sich ein Meer erhebt mit seinen Wellen.
therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I am against thee, Tyre, and will cause many nations to come up against thee, as the sea causeth its waves to come up.
4 Die sollen die Mauern zu Tyrus verderben und ihre Türme abbrechen; ja, ich will auch den Staub vor ihr wegfegen und will einen bloßen Fels aus ihr machen
And they shall destroy the walls of Tyre, and break down her towers. And I will scrape her dust from her, and make her a bare rock.
5 und zu einem Werd im Meer, darauf man die Fischgarne ausspannet; denn ich hab es geredet, spricht der HERR HERR: und sie soll den Heiden zum Raub werden.
She shall be [a place] for the spreading of nets in the midst of the sea; for I have spoken [it], saith the Lord Jehovah; and she shall become a spoil for the nations.
6 Und ihre Töchter, so auf dem Felde liegen, sollen durchs Schwert erwürget werden; und sollen erfahren, daß ich der HERR bin.
And her daughters that are in the field shall be slain by the sword; and they shall know that I [am] Jehovah.
7 Denn so spricht der HERR HERR: Siehe, ich will über Tyrus kommen lassen Nebukadnezar, den König zu Babel, von Mitternacht her, der ein König aller Könige ist, mit Rossen, Wagen, Reitern und mit großem Haufen Volks.
For thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I will bring from the north, against Tyre, Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, the king of kings, with horses, and with chariots, and with horsemen, and an assemblage, and much people.
8 Der soll deine Töchter, so auf dem Felde liegen, mit dem Schwert erwürgen; aber wider dich wird er Bollwerk aufschlagen und einen Schutt machen und Schilde wider dich rüsten.
He shall slay with the sword thy daughters in the field, and he shall make forts against thee, and cast up a mound against thee, and lift up the target against thee;
9 Er wird mit Böcken deine Mauern zerstoßen und deine Türme mit seinen Waffen umreißen.
and he shall set his engines of attack against thy walls, and with his spikes he shall break down thy towers.
10 Der Staub von der Menge seiner Pferde wird dich bedecken, so werden auch deine Mauern erbeben vor dem Getümmel seiner Rosse, Räder und Reiter, wenn er zu deinen Toren einziehen wird, wie man pflegt in eine zerrissene Stadt einzuziehen.
By reason of the abundance of his horses their dust shall cover thee; thy walls shall shake at the noise of the horsemen, and of the wheels, and of the chariots, when he shall enter through thy gates, as a city is entered into, wherein is made a breach.
11 Er wird mit den Füßen seiner Rosse alle deine Gassen zertreten. Dein Volk wird er mit dem Schwert erwürgen und deine starken Säulen zu Boden reißen.
With the hoofs of his horses shall he tread down all thy streets; he shall slay thy people by the sword, and the pillars of thy strength shall go down to the ground.
12 Sie werden dein Gut rauben und deinen Handel plündern. Deine Mauern werden sie abbrechen und deine feinen Häuser umreißen und werden deine Steine, Holz und Staub ins Wasser werfen.
And they shall make a spoil of thy riches, and make a prey of thy wares; and they shall break down thy walls, and destroy thy pleasant houses; and they shall lay thy stones and thy timber and thy dust in the midst of the waters.
13 Also will ich mit dem Getöne deines Gesangs ein Ende machen, daß man den Klang deiner Harfen nicht mehr hören soll.
And I will cause the noise of thy songs to cease; and the sound of thy harps shall be no more heard.
14 Und ich will einen bloßen Fels aus dir machen und einen Werd, darauf man die Fischgarne ausspannet, daß du nicht mehr gebauet werdest; denn ich bin der HERR, der solches redet, spricht der HERR HERR.
And I will make thee a bare rock; thou shalt be [a place] for the spreading of nets; thou shalt be built no more: for I Jehovah have spoken [it], saith the Lord Jehovah.
15 So spricht der HERR HERR wider Tyrus: Was gilt's, die Inseln werden erbeben, wenn du so scheußlich zerfallen wirst und deine Verwundeten seufzen werden, so in dir sollen ermordet werden.
Thus saith the Lord Jehovah to Tyre: Shall not the isles shake at the sound of thy fall, when the wounded groan, when the slaughter is made in the midst of thee?
16 Alle Fürsten am Meer werden herab von ihren Stühlen sitzen und ihre Röcke von sich tun und ihre gestickten Kleider ausziehen und werden in Trauerkleidern gehen und auf der Erde sitzen und werden erschrecken und sich entsetzen deines plötzlichen Falls.
And all the princes of the sea shall come down from their thrones, and lay aside their robes, and put off their broidered garments: they shall clothe themselves with trembling, they shall sit upon the ground, and shall tremble [every] moment, and be astonied because of thee.
17 Sie werden dich wehklagen und von dir sagen: Ach, wie bist du so gar wüste worden, du berühmte Stadt, die du am Meer lagest und so mächtig warest auf dem Meer samt deinen Einwohnern, daß sich das ganze Land vor dir fürchten mußte!
And they shall take up a lamentation for thee, and say to thee, How hast thou perished, that wast inhabited from the seas, O renowned city, which wast strong in the sea, — she and her inhabitants, who caused their terror to be on all them that dwell therein!
18 Ach, wie entsetzen sich die Inseln über deinen Fall! Ja, die Inseln im Meer erschrecken über deinen Untergang.
Now shall the isles tremble in the day of thy fall; and the isles that are in the sea shall be troubled at thy departure.
19 So spricht der HERR HERR: Ich will dich zu einer wüsten Stadt machen, wie andere Städte, da niemand innen wohnet, und eine große Flut über dich kommen lassen, daß dich große Wasser bedecken.
For thus saith the Lord Jehovah: When I shall make thee a desolate city, like the cities that are not inhabited; when I bring up the deep upon thee, and the great waters cover thee:
20 Und will dich hinunterstoßen zu denen, die in die Grube fahren, nämlich zu den Toten. Ich will dich unter die Erde hinabstoßen und wie eine ewige Wüste machen mit denen, die in die Grube fahren, auf daß niemand in dir wohne. Ich will dich, du Zarte, im Lande der Lebendigen machen,
then will I bring thee down, with them that go down to the pit, to the people of old time, and will cause thee to dwell in the lower parts of the earth, in places desolate of old, with them that go down to the pit, that thou be not inhabited; and I will set glory in the land of the living.
21 ja, zum Schrecken will ich dich machen, daß du nichts mehr seiest, und wenn man nach dir fraget, daß man dich ewiglich nimmer finden könne, spricht der HERR HERR.
And I will make thee a terror, and thou shalt be no [more]; and thou shalt be sought for, and shalt never be found again, for ever, saith the Lord Jehovah.
