1 Und Bezaleel machte die Lade von Föhrenholz, dritthalb Ellen lang, anderthalb Ellen breit und hoch,

And Bezaleel made the ark, of acacia wood, two cubits and a half, the length thereof and, a cubit and a half, the breadth thereof, and, a cubit and a half, the height thereof;

2 und überzog sie mit feinem Golde, inwendig und auswendig; und machte ihr einen güldenen Kranz umher.

and he overlaid it with pure gold within and without, -and made for it a rim of gold, round about;

3 Und goß vier güldene Rinken an ihre vier Ecken, auf jeglicher Seite zween.

and he cast for it four rings of gold, upon the four feet thereof, —even, two rings, on the one side thereof and, two rings, on the other side thereof;

4 Und machte Stangen von Föhrenholz und überzog sie mit Golde

and he made staves of acacia wood, and overlaid them with gold;

5 und tat sie in die Rinken an der Lade Seiten, daß man sie tragen konnte.

and he brought the staves into the rings, upon the sides of the ark, for lifting the ark.

6 Und machte den Gnadenstuhl von feinem Golde, dritthalb Ellen lang und anderthalb Ellen breit.

And he made a propitiatory of pure gold, —two cubits and a half, the length thereof, and, a cubit and a half, the breadth thereof:

7 Und machte zween Cherubim von dichtem Golde an die zwei Enden des Gnadenstuhls,

and he made two cherubim, of gold, of beaten work, did he make them, out of the two ends of the propitiatory:

8 einen Cherub an diesem Ende, den andern an jenem Ende.

one cherub, out of this end, and, one cherub, out of that end, out of the propitiatory itself, made he the cherubim, out of the two ends thereof:

9 Und die Cherubim breiteten ihre Flügel aus von oben her und deckten damit den Gnadenstuhl; und ihre Antlitze stunden gegeneinander und sahen auf den Gnadenstuhl.

and the cherubim were spreading out their wings on high making a shelter with their wings over the propitiatory, with, their faces, one towards the other, towards the propitiatory, were the faces of the cherubim,

10 Und er machte den Tisch von Föhrenholz, zwo Ellen lang, eine Elle breit und anderthalb Ellen hoch.

And he made the table of acacia wood, two cubits, the length thereof and, a cubit, the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof,

11 Und überzog ihn mit feinem Golde und machte ihm einen güldenen Kranz umher.

And he overlaid it with pure gold, —and he made thereto a rim of gold round about:

12 Und machte ihm eine Leiste umher, einer Hand breit hoch; und machte einen güldenen Kranz um die Leiste her.

and he mane thereto a border of a handbreadth, round about, and he made a rim of gold to the border thereof round about:

13 Und goß dazu vier güldene Rinken und tat sie an die vier Orte an seinen vier Füßen

and he cast for it, four rings of gold, and placed the rings upon the four corners, which pertained to the four feet thereof:

14 hart an der Leiste, daß die Stangen drinnen wären, damit man den Tisch trüge.

near to the border, were the rings, as receptacles for the staves, for lifting the table;

15 Und machte die Stangen von Föhrenholz und überzog sie mit Gold, daß man den Tisch damit trüge.

and he made the staves of acacia wood, and overlaid them with gold, —for lifting the table;

16 Und machte auch von feinem Golde das Geräte auf den Tisch: Schüsseln, Becher, Kannen und Schalen, damit man aus- und einschenkte.

and he made the utensils which were to be upon the table, its dishes and its pans and its bowls, and its basins for pouring out therewith, of pure gold.

17 Und machte den Leuchter von feinem, dichtem Golde. Daran waren der Schaft mit Röhren, Schalen, Knäufen und Blumen.

And he made the lampstand, of pure gold, of beaten work, made he the lampstand, its base and its shafts, its cups, its apples and its blossoms were, of the same;

18 Sechs Röhren gingen zu seinen Seiten aus, zu jeglicher Seite drei Röhren.

with, six branches coming out of its sides, —three branches of the lampstand out of its one side and three branches of the lampstand out of its other side:

19 Drei Schalen waren an jeglichem Rohr mit Knäufen und Blumen.

three cups like almond-flowers in the one branch—apple and blossom, and, three cups like almond-flowers, in the next branch, apple and blossom, so for the six branches coming out of the lampstand;

20 An dem Leuchter aber waren vier Schalen mit Knäufen und Blumen,

and in the lampstand itself, four cups, like almond-flowers, its apples and its blossoms:

21 je unter zwo Röhren ein Knauf, daß also sechs Röhren aus ihm gingen,

with, an apple, under the two branches of the same, and, an apple, under the next two branches of the same, and, an apple, under the next two branches of the same, for the six branches coming out of the same:

22 und ihre Knäufe und Röhren daran, und war alles aus dichtem, feinem Golde.

their apples and their brunches were of the same, all of it one beaten work, of pure gold.

23 Und machte die sieben Lampen mit ihren Lichtschneuzen und Löschnäpfen von feinem Golde.

And he made the lamps thereof seven, —with its snuffers and its snuff-trays, of pure gold.

24 Aus einem Zentner feines Goldes machte er ihn und alle seine Geräte.

Of a talent of pure gold, made he it, —and all the utensils thereof.

25 Er machte auch den Räuchaltar von Föhrenholz, eine Elle lang und breit, gleich viereckig und zwo Ellen hoch, mit seinen Hörnern.

And he made the incense altar, of acacia wood, —a cubit, the length thereof, and, a cubit, the breadth thereof, foursquare, and two cubits the height thereof, of the same, were the horns thereof.

26 Und überzog ihn mit feinem Golde, sein Dach und seine Wände rings umher und seine Hörner. Und machte ihm einen Kranz umher von Golde

And he overlaid it with pure gold—the top thereof and the sides thereof round about, and the horns thereof, -and he made thereto a rim of gold, round about.

27 und zween güldene Rinken unter dem Kranz zu beiden Seiten, daß man Stangen drein täte und ihn damit trüge.

And two rings of gold, made he thereto—beneath the rim thereof, upon the two corners thereof, upon the two sides thereof, —as receptacles for the staves, to lift it therewith.

28 Aber die Stangen machte er von Föhrenholz und überzog sie mit Golde.

And he made the staves of acacia wood, —and overlaid them with gold.

29 Und machte die heilige Salbe und Räuchwerk von reiner Spezerei nach Apothekerkunst.

And he made the holy anointing oil, and the pure fragrant incense, —the work of a perfumer.
