2 Johannes 1
1 Der Älteste: der auserwählten Frau und ihren Kindern, die ich liebhabe in der Wahrheit, und nicht allein ich, sondern auch alle, die die Wahrheit erkannt haben,
THE Elder, to Kuria the elect, and to her children: whom I love in the truth, and not I only, but all they who know the truth;
for the sake of the truth, which abideth in us and is with us for ever. (aiōn g165)
3 Gnade, Barmherzigkeit, Friede von Gott dem Vater und von dem HERRN Jesu Christo, dem Sohn des Vaters, in der Wahrheit und in der Liebe sei mit euch!
May grace be with you, and mercy, and peace, from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus the Messiah, the Son of the Father, in truth and love.
4 Ich bin sehr erfreuet, daß ich funden habe unter deinen Kindern, die in der Wahrheit wandeln, wie denn wir ein Gebot vom Vater empfangen haben.
I have rejoiced greatly, that I found some of thy children, who walked in the truth, as we have received commandment from the Father.
5 Und nun bitte ich dich, Frau (nicht als ein neu Gebot schreibe ich dir, sondern das wir gehabt haben von Anfang), daß wir uns untereinander lieben.
And now, I beseech thee, Kuria, (I write no new commandment to thee, but that which was with us from the beginning, ) that we should love one another.
6 Und das ist die Liebe, daß wir wandeln nach seinem Gebot. Das ist das Gebot, wie ihr gehöret habt von Anfang, auf daß ihr daselbst innen wandelt.
And this is love, that we walk according to the commandment. This is the commandment, as ye have heard from the beginning, that we should walk in it.
7 Denn viel Verführer sind in die Welt kommen, die nicht bekennen Jesum Christum, daß er in das Fleisch kommen ist. Dieser ist der Verführer und der Widerchrist.
Because many seducers have gone forth into the world, who confess not that Jesus the Messiah hath come in the flesh. This is a seducer and Antichrist.
8 Sehet euch vor, daß wir nicht verlieren, was wir erarbeitet haben, sondern vollen Lohn empfangen.
Take heed to yourselves, that ye lose not what ye have wrought; but that ye may be recompensed with a full reward.
9 Wer übertritt und bleibet nicht in der Lehre Christi, der hat keinen Gott; wer in der Lehre Christi bleibet, der hat beide, den Vater und den Sohn.
Every one who transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of the Messiah, God is not in him. And he who abideth in his doctrine, he hath the Father and the Son.
10 So jemand zu euch kommt und bringet diese Lehre nicht, den nehmet nicht zu Hause und grüßet ihn auch nicht.
If any one cometh to you, and bringeth not this doctrine, entertain him not in your house, nor say to him, Joy to thee:
11 Denn wer ihn grüßet, der macht sich teilhaftig seiner bösen Werke.
for he that saith to him, Joy to thee, is a participator in his evil deeds.
12 Ich hatte euch viel zu schreiben, aber ich wollte nicht mit Briefen und Tinte, sondern ich hoffe, zu euch zu kommen und mündlich mit euch zu reden, auf daß unsere Freude vollkommen sei.
Having many things I could write to you, I would not with paper and ink; but I hope to come to you, and to converse mouth to mouth, that our joy may be complete.
13 Es grüßen dich die Kinder deiner Schwester, der Auserwählten. Amen.
The children of thy elect sister salute thee. Grace be with you. Amen.
