2 Chronik 32

1 Nach diesen Geschichten und Treue kam Sanherib, der König zu Assur, und zog nach Juda und lagerte sich vor die festen Städte und gedachte, sie zu sich zu reißen.

after [the] word: thing and [the] truth: faithful [the] these to come (in): besiege Sennacherib king Assyria and to come (in): besiege in/on/with Judah and to camp upon [the] city [the] to gather/restrain/fortify and to say to/for to break up/open them to(wards) him

2 Und da Hiskia sah, daß Sanherib kam und sein Angesicht stund, zu streiten wider Jerusalem,

and to see: see Hezekiah for to come (in): come Sennacherib and face his to/for battle upon Jerusalem

3 ward er Rats mit seinen Obersten und Gewaltigen, zuzudecken die Wasser von den Brunnen, die draußen vor der Stadt waren; und sie halfen ihm.

and to advise with ruler his and mighty man his to/for to close [obj] water [the] spring which from outside to/for city and to help him

4 Und es versammelte sich ein groß Volk und deckten zu alle Brunnen und fließenden Wasser mitten im Lande und sprachen: Daß die Könige von Assur nicht viel Wassers finden, wenn sie kommen!

and to gather people many and to close [obj] all [the] spring and [obj] [the] torrent: river [the] to overflow in/on/with midst [the] land: country/planet to/for to say to/for what? to come (in): come king Assyria and to find water many

5 Und er ward getrost und bauete alle Mauern, wo sie lückicht waren, und machte Türme drauf; und bauete draußen noch eine andere Mauer und befestigte Millo an der Stadt Davids; und machte viel Waffen und Schilde.

and to strengthen: persevere and to build [obj] all [the] wall [the] to break through and to ascend: establish upon [the] tower and to/for outside [to] [the] wall another and to strengthen: persevere [obj] [the] Millo city David and to make missile to/for abundance and shield

6 Und stellete die Hauptleute zum Streit neben das Volk; und sammelte sie zu sich auf die breite Gasse am Tor der Stadt und redete herzlich mit ihnen und sprach:

and to give: put ruler battle upon [the] people and to gather them to(wards) him to(wards) street/plaza gate [the] city and to speak: speak upon heart their to/for to say

7 Seid getrost und frisch, fürchtet euch nicht und zaget nicht vor dem Könige von Assur, noch vor all dem Haufen, der bei ihm ist; denn es ist ein größerer mit uns als mit ihm.

to strengthen: strengthen and to strengthen not to fear and not to to be dismayed from face: before king Assyria and from to/for face: before all [the] crowd which with him for with us many from from with him

8 Mit ihm ist ein fleischlicher Arm; mit uns aber ist der HERR, unser Gott, daß er uns helfe und führe unsern Streit. Und das Volk verließ sich auf die Worte Hiskias, des Königs Judas.

9 Danach sandte Sanherib, der König zu Assur, seine Knechte gen Jerusalem (denn er lag vor Lachis und alle seine HERRSChaft mit ihm) zu Hiskia, dem Könige Judas, und zum ganzen Juda, das zu Jerusalem war, und ließ ihm sagen:

after this to send: depart Sennacherib king Assyria servant/slave his Jerusalem [to] and he/she/it upon Lachish and all dominion his with him upon Hezekiah king Judah and upon all Judah which in/on/with Jerusalem to/for to say

10 So spricht Sanherib, der König zu Assur: Wes vertröstet ihr euch, die ihr wohnet in dem belagerten Jerusalem?

thus to say Sennacherib king Assyria upon what? you(m. p.) to trust and to dwell in/on/with siege in/on/with Jerusalem

11 Hiskia beredet euch, daß er euch gebe in den Tod, Hunger und Durst, und spricht: Der HERR, unser Gott, wird uns erretten von der Hand des Königs zu Assur.

not Hezekiah to incite [obj] you to/for to give: give [obj] you to/for to die in/on/with famine and in/on/with thirst to/for to say LORD God our to rescue us from palm king Assyria

12 Ist er nicht der Hiskia, der seine Höhen und Altäre weggetan hat und gesagt zu Juda und Jerusalem: Vor einem Altar sollt ihr anbeten und drauf räuchern?

not he/she/it Hezekiah to turn aside: remove [obj] high place his and [obj] altar his and to say to/for Judah and to/for Jerusalem to/for to say to/for face: before altar one to bow and upon him to offer: offer

13 Wisset ihr nicht, was ich und meine Väter getan haben allen Völkern in Ländern? Haben auch die Götter der Heiden in Ländern mögen ihre Länder erretten von meiner Hand?

not to know what? to make: do I and father my to/for all people [the] land: country/planet be able be able God nation [the] land: country/planet to/for to rescue [obj] land: country/planet their from hand: power my

14 Wer ist unter allen Göttern dieser Heiden, die meine Väter verbannet haben, der sein Volk habe mögen erretten von meiner Hand, daß euer Gott euch sollte mögen erretten aus meiner Hand?

who? in/on/with all God [the] nation [the] these which to devote/destroy father my which be able to/for to rescue [obj] people his from hand: power my for be able God your to/for to rescue [obj] you from hand: power my

15 So laßt euch nun Hiskia nicht aufsetzen und laßt euch solches nicht bereden und glaubet ihm nicht. Denn so kein Gott aller Heiden und Königreiche hat sein Volk mögen von meiner und meiner Väter Hand erretten, so werden auch euch eure Götter nicht erretten von meiner Hand.

and now not to deceive [obj] you Hezekiah and not to incite [obj] you like/as this and not be faithful to/for him for not be able all god all nation and kingdom to/for to rescue people his from hand: power my and from hand: power father my also for God your not to rescue [obj] you from hand: power my

16 Dazu redeten seine Knechte noch mehr wider den HERRN, den Gott, und wider seinen Knecht Hiskia.

and still to speak: speak servant/slave his upon LORD [the] God and upon Hezekiah servant/slave his

17 Auch schrieb er Briefe, Hohn zu sprechen dem HERRN, dem Gott Israels, und redete von ihm und sprach: Wie die Götter der Heiden in Ländern ihr Volk nicht haben errettet von meiner Hand, so wird auch der Gott Hiskias sein Volk nicht erretten von meiner Hand.

and scroll: document to write to/for to taunt to/for LORD God Israel and to/for to say upon him to/for to say like/as God nation [the] land: country/planet which not to rescue people their from hand: power my so not to rescue God Hezekiah people his from hand: power my

18 Und sie riefen mit lauter Stimme auf jüdisch zum Volk zu Jerusalem, das auf der Mauer war, sie furchtsam zu machen und zu erschrecken, daß sie die Stadt gewönnen;

and to call: call out in/on/with voice great: large Judahite upon people Jerusalem which upon [the] wall to/for to fear them and to/for to dismay them because to capture [obj] [the] city

19 und redeten wider den Gott Jerusalems wie wider die Götter der Völker auf Erden, die Menschenhände-Werk waren.

and to speak: speak to(wards) God Jerusalem like/as upon God people [the] land: country/planet deed: work hand [the] man

20 Aber der König Hiskia und der Prophet Jesaja, der Sohn Amoz, beteten dawider und schrieen gen Himmel.

and to pray Hezekiah [the] king and Isaiah son: child Amoz [the] prophet upon this and to cry out [the] heaven

21 Und der HERR sandte einen Engel, der vertilgete alle Gewaltigen des Heers und Fürsten und Obersten im Lager des Königs zu Assur, daß er mit Schanden wieder in sein Land zog. Und da er in seines Gottes Haus ging, fälleten ihn daselbst durchs Schwert, die von seinem eigenen Leibe kommen waren.

and to send: depart LORD messenger: angel and to hide all mighty man strength and leader and ruler in/on/with camp king Assyria and to return: return in/on/with shame face to/for land: country/planet his and to come (in): come house: temple God his (and from offspring *Q(K)*) belly his there to fall: kill him in/on/with sword

22 Also half der HERR Hiskia und denen zu Jerusalem aus der Hand Sanheribs, des Königs zu Assur, und aller anderen und enthielt sie vor allen umher,

and to save LORD [obj] Hezekiah and [obj] to dwell Jerusalem from hand: power Sennacherib king Assyria and from hand: power all and to guide them from around: side

23 daß viele dem HERRN Geschenke brachten gen Jerusalem und Kleinode Hiskia, dem Könige Judas. Und er ward danach erhaben vor allen Heiden.

and many to come (in): bring offering: gift to/for LORD to/for Jerusalem and precious thing to/for Hezekiah king Judah and to lift: exalt to/for eye: seeing all [the] nation from after so

24 Zu der Zeit ward Hiskia todkrank; und er bat den HERRN. Der redete ihm und gab ihm ein Wunder.

in/on/with day [the] they(masc.) be weak: ill Hezekiah till to/for to die and to pray to(wards) LORD and to say to/for him and wonder to give: give to/for him

25 Aber Hiskia vergalt nicht, wie ihm gegeben war; denn sein Herz erhub sich. Darum kam der Zorn über ihn und über Juda und Jerusalem.

and not like/as recompense upon him to return: return Hezekiah for to exult heart his and to be upon him wrath and upon Judah and Jerusalem

26 Aber Hiskia demütigte sich, daß sein Herz sich erhoben hatte, samt denen zu Jerusalem; darum kam der Zorn des HERRN nicht über sie, weil Hiskia lebte.

and be humble Hezekiah in/on/with height heart his he/she/it and to dwell Jerusalem and not to come (in): come upon them wrath LORD in/on/with day Hezekiah

27 Und Hiskia hatte sehr großen Reichtum und Ehre und machte ihm Schätze von Silber, Gold, Edelsteinen, Würze, Schilden und allerlei köstlichem Geräte

and to be to/for Hezekiah riches and glory to multiply much and treasure to make to/for him to/for silver: money and to/for gold and to/for stone precious and to/for spice and to/for shield and to/for all article/utensil desire

28 und Kornhäuser zu dem Einkommen des Getreides, Mosts und Öles und Ställe für allerlei Vieh und Hürden für die Schafe.

and storage to/for produce grain and new wine and oil and stall to/for all animal and animal and flock to/for stall

29 Und bauete ihm Städte und hatte Vieh an Schafen und Rindern die Menge; denn Gott gab ihm sehr groß Gut.

and city to make to/for him and livestock flock and cattle to/for abundance for to give: give to/for him God property many much

30 Er ist der Hiskia, der die hohe Wasserquelle in Gihon zudeckte und leitete sie hinunter von abendwärts zur Stadt Davids; denn Hiskia war glückselig in allen seinen Werken.

and he/she/it Hezekiah to close [obj] exit water Gihon [the] high and to smooth them to/for beneath west [to] to/for city David and to prosper Hezekiah in/on/with all deed his

31 Da aber die Botschaften der Fürsten von Babel zu ihm gesandt waren, zu fragen nach dem Wunder, das im Lande geschehen war, verließ ihn Gott also, daß er ihn versuchte, auf daß kund würde alles, was in seinem Herzen war.

and so in/on/with to mock ruler Babylon [the] to send: depart upon him to/for to seek [the] wonder which to be in/on/with land: country/planet to leave: forsake him [the] God to/for to test him to/for to know all in/on/with heart his

32 Was aber mehr von Hiskia zu sagen ist, und seine Barmherzigkeit, siehe, das ist geschrieben in dem Gesicht des Propheten Jesaja, des Sohns Amoz, im Buch der Könige Judas und Israels.

33 Und Hiskia entschlief mit seinen Vätern, und sie begruben ihn über die Gräber der Kinder Davids. Und ganz Juda und die zu Jerusalem taten ihm Ehre in seinem Tode. Und sein Sohn Manasse ward König an seiner Statt.

and to lie down: be dead Hezekiah with father his and to bury him in/on/with ascent grave son: descendant/people David and glory to make: do to/for him in/on/with death his all Judah and to dwell Jerusalem and to reign Manasseh son: descendant/people his underneath: instead him
