1 Chronik 6

1 Die Kinder Levis waren: Gersom, Kahath und Merari.

[the] sons of Levi Gershon Kohath and Merari.

2 Die Kinder aber Kahaths waren: Amram, Jezehar, Hebron und Usiel.

And [the] sons of Kohath Amram Izhar and Hebron and Uzziel.

3 Die Kinder Amrams waren: Aaron, Mose und Mirjam. Die Kinder Aarons waren: Nadab, Abihu, Eleasar und Ithamar.

And [the] children of Amram Aaron and Moses and Miriam. And [the] sons of Aaron Nadab and Abihu Eleazar and Ithamar.

4 Eleasar zeugete Pinehas. Pinehas zeugete Abisua.

Eleazar he fathered Phinehas Phinehas he fathered Abishua.

5 Abisua zeugete Buki. Buki zeugete Usi.

And Abishua he fathered Bukki and Bukki he fathered Uzzi.

6 Usi zeugete Seraja. Seraja zeugete Merajoth.

And Uzzi he fathered Zerahiah and Zerahiah he fathered Meraioth.

7 Merajoth zeugete Amarja. Amarja zeugete Ahitob.

Meraioth he fathered Amariah and Amariah he fathered Ahitub.

8 Ahitob zeugete Zadok. Zadok zeugete Ahimaaz.

And Ahitub he fathered Zadok and Zadok he fathered Ahimaaz.

9 Ahimaaz zeugete Asarja. Asarja zeugete Johanan.

And Ahimaaz he fathered Azariah and Azariah he fathered Johanan.

10 Johanan zeugete Asarja, den, der Priester war im Hause, das Salomo bauete zu Jerusalem.

And Johanan he fathered Azariah he [was [the] one] who he served as a priest in the house which he had built Solomon in Jerusalem.

11 Asarja zeugete Amarja. Amarja zeugete Ahitob.

And he fathered Azariah Amariah and Amariah he fathered Ahitub.

12 Ahitob zeugete Zadok. Zadok zeugete Sallum.

And Ahitub he fathered Zadok and Zadok he fathered Shallum.

13 Sallum zeugte Hilkija. Hilkija zeugete Asarja.

And Shallum he fathered Hilkiah and Hilkiah he fathered Azariah.

14 Asarja zeugete Seraja. Seraja zeugete Jozadak.

And Azariah he fathered Seraiah and Seraiah he fathered Jehozadak.

15 Jozadak aber ward mit weggeführet, da der HERR Juda und Jerusalem durch Nebukadnezar ließ gefangen wegführen.

And Jehozadak he went when sent into exile Yahweh Judah and Jerusalem by [the] hand of Nebuchadnezzar.

16 So sind nun die Kinder Levis diese: Gersom, Kahath, Merari.

[the] sons of Levi Gershom Kohath and Merari.

17 So heißen aber die Kinder Gersoms: Libni und Simei.

And these [are] [the] names of [the] sons of Gershom Libni and Shimei.

18 Aber die Kinder Kahaths heißen: Amram, Jezehar, Hebron und Usiel.

And [the] sons of Kohath Amram and Izhar and Hebron and Uzziel.

19 Die Kinder Meraris heißen: Maheli und Musi. Das sind die Geschlechter der Leviten unter ihren Vätern.

[the] sons of Merari Mahli and Mushi and these [are] [the] clans of the Levite[s] to ancestors their.

20 Gersoms Sohn war Libni; des Sohn war Jahath; des Sohn war Sima;

Of Gershom Libni son his Jahath son his Zimmah son his.

21 des Sohn war Joah; des Sohn war Iddo; des Sohn war Serah; des Sohn war Jeathrai.

Joah son his Iddo son his Zerah son his Jeatherai son his.

22 Kahaths Sohn aber war Amminadab; des Sohn war Korah; des Sohn war Assir;

[the] sons of Kohath Amminadab son his Korah son his Assir son his.

23 des Sohn war Elkana; des Sohn war Abiassaph; des Sohn war Assir;

Elkanah son his and Ebiasaph son his and Assir son his.

24 des Sohn war Thahath; des Sohn war Uriel; des Sohn war Usija; des Sohn war Saul.

Tahath son his Uriel son his Uzziah son his and Shaul son his.

25 Die Kinder Elkanas waren Amasai und Ahimoth;

And [the] sons of Elkanah Amasai and Ahimoth.

26 des Sohn war Elkana; des Sohn war Elkana von Zoph; des Sohn war Nahath;

Elkanah ([the] sons *Q(K)*) Elkanah Zophai son his and Nahath son his.

27 des Sohn war Eliab; des Sohn war Jeroham; des Sohn war Elkana;

Eliab son his Jeroham son his Elkanah (son his and Samuel *X*) son his.

28 des Sohn war Samuel; des Erstgeborner war Vasni, und Abija.

And [the] sons of Samuel the firstborn (Joel *X*) second and Abijah.

29 Meraris Sohn war Maheli; des Sohn war Libni; des Sohn war Simei; des Sohn war Usa;

[the] sons of Merari Mahli Libni son his Shimei son his Uzzah son his.

30 des Sohn war Simea; des Sohn war Haggija; des Sohn war Asaja.

Shimea son his Haggiah son his Asaiah son his.

31 Dies sind aber, die David stellete, zu singen im Hause des HERRN, da die Lade ruhete;

And these [are those] whom he appointed David over [the] hands of song [the] house of Yahweh from [the] rest of the ark.

32 und dieneten vor der Wohnung der Hütte des Stifts mit Singen, bis daß Salomo das Haus des HERRN bauete zu Jerusalem; und stunden nach ihrer Weise an ihrem Amt.

And they were serving before [the] tabernacle of [the] tent of meeting with song until built Solomon [the] house of Yahweh in Jerusalem and they stood according to custom their on service their.

33 Und dies sind sie, die da stunden, und ihre Kinder. Von den Kindern Kahaths war Heman, der Sänger, der Sohn Joels, des Sohns Samuels,

And these [were] the [ones who] stood and descendants their from [the] descendants of the Kohathite[s] Heman the singer [the] son of Joel [the] son of Samuel.

34 des Sohns Elkanas, des Sohns Jerohams, des Sohns Eliels, des Sohns Thoahs,

[the] son of Elkanah [the] son of Jeroham [the] son of Eliel [the] son of Toah.

35 des Sohns Zuphs, des Sohns Elkanas, des Sohns Mahaths, des Sohns Amasais,

[the] son of (Zuph *Q(K)*) [the] son of Elkanah [the] son of Mahath [the] son of Amasai.

36 des Sohns Elkanas, des Sohns Joels, des Sohns Asarja, des Sohns Zephanjas,

[the] son of Elkanah [the] son of Joel [the] son of Azariah [the] son of Zephaniah.

37 des Sohns Thahaths, des Sohns Assirs, des Sohns Abiasaphs, des Sohns Korahs,

[the] son of Tahath [the] son of Assir [the] son of Ebiasaph [the] son of Korah.

38 des Sohns Jezehars, des Sohns Kahaths, des Sohns Levis, des Sohns Israels.

[the] son of Izhar [the] son of Kohath [the] son of Levi [the] son of Israel.

39 Und sein Bruder Assaph stund zu seiner Rechten. Und er, der Assaph, war ein Sohn Berechjas, des Sohns Simeas,

And relative his Asaph who stood at right [hand] his Asaph [the] son of Berekiah [the] son of Shimea.

40 des Sohns Michaels, des Sohns Baesejas, des Sohns Malchijas,

[the] son of Michael [the] son of Baaseiah [the] son of Malkijah.

41 des Sohns Athnis, des Sohns Serahs, des Sohns Adajas,

[the] son of Ethni [the] son of Zerah [the] son of Adaiah.

42 des Sohns Ethans, des Sohns Simas, des Sohns Simeis,

[the] son of Ethan [the] son of Zimmah [the] son of Shimei.

43 des Sohns Jahaths, des Sohns Gersoms, des Sohns Levis.

[the] son of Jahath [the] son of Gershom [the] son of Levi.

44 Ihre Brüder aber, die Kinder Meraris, stunden zur Linken: nämlich Ethan, der Sohn Kusis, des Sohns Abdis, des Sohns Malluchs,

And [the] descendants of Merari relatives their [were] at the left [hand] Ethan [the] son of Kishi [the] son of Abdi [the] son of Malluch.

45 des Sohns Hasabjas, des Sohns Amazias, des Sohns Hilkias,

[the] son of Hashabiah [the] son of Amaziah [the] son of Hilkiah.

46 des Sohns Amzis, des Sohns Banis, des Sohns Samers,

[the] son of Amzi [the] son of Bani [the] son of Shemer.

47 des Sohns Mahelis, des Sohns Musis, des Sohns Meraris, des Sohns Levis.

[the] son of Mahli [the] son of Mushi [the] son of Merari [the] son of Levi.

48 Ihre Brüder aber, die Leviten, waren gegeben zu allerlei Amt an der Wohnung des Hauses des HERRN.

And relatives their the Levites [were] assigned to all [the] service of [the] tabernacle of [the] house of God.

49 Aaron aber und seine Söhne waren im Amt, anzuzünden auf dem Brandopferaltar und auf dem Räuchaltar und zu allem Geschäfte im Allerheiligsten und zu versöhnen Israel, wie Mose, der Knecht Gottes, geboten hatte.

And Aaron and descendants his [were] making smoke on [the] altar of the burnt offering and on [the] altar of the incense for all [the] work of [the] holy place of the holy places and to make atonement on Israel according to all that he had commanded Moses [the] servant of God.

50 Dies sind aber die Kinder Aarons: Eleasar, sein Sohn; des Sohn war Pinehas; des Sohn war Abisua;

And these [are] [the] descendants of Aaron Eleazar son his Phinehas son his Abishua son his.

51 des Sohn war Buki; des Sohn war Usi; des Sohn war Serahja;

Bukki son his Uzzi son his Zerahiah son his.

52 des Sohn war Merajoth; des Sohn war Amarja; des Sohn war Ahitob;

Meraioth son his Amariah son his Ahitub son his.

53 des Sohn war Zadok; des Sohn war Ahimaaz.

Zadok son his Ahimaaz son his.

54 Und dies ist ihre Wohnung und Sitz in ihren Grenzen, nämlich der Kinder Aarons, des Geschlechts der Kahathiter; denn das Los fiel ihnen.

And these [were] dwelling places their to encampments their in territory their to [the] descendants of Aaron to [the] clan of the Kohathite[s] for to them it belonged the lot.

55 Und sie gaben ihnen Hebron im Lande Juda und derselben Vorstädte umher.

And people gave to them Hebron in [the] land of Judah and pasture lands its around it.

56 Aber das Feld der Stadt und ihre Dörfer gaben sie Kaleb, dem Sohn Jephunnes.

And [the] field of the city and villages its people gave to Caleb [the] son of Jephunneh.

57 So gaben sie nun den Kindern Aarons die Freistädte, Hebron und Libna samt ihren Vorstädten, Jather und Esthemoa mit ihren Vorstädten,

And to [the] descendants of Aaron people gave [the] cities of refuge Hebron and Libnah and pasture lands its and Jattir and Eshtemoa and pasture lands its.

58 Hilen, Debir,

And Hilez and pasture lands its Debir and pasture lands its.

59 Asan und Beth-Semes mit ihren Vorstädten;

And Ashan and pasture lands its (and Juttah and pasture lands its *X*) and Beth Shemesh and pasture lands its.

60 und aus dem Stamm Benjamin Geba, Alemeth und Anathoth mit ihren Vorstädten; daß aller Städte in ihrem Geschlecht waren dreizehn.

And from [the] tribe of Benjamin (Gibeon and pasture lands its *X*) Geba and pasture lands its and Alemeth and pasture lands its and Anathoth and pasture lands its all cities their [were] thir-teen citi[es] in clans their.

61 Aber den andern Kindern Kahaths ihres Geschlechts, aus dem halben Stamm Manasse, wurden durchs Los zehn Städte.

And to [the] descendants of Kohath which remained of [the] clan of the tribe from [the] half of [the] tribe of [the] half of Manasseh by the lot cities ten.

62 Den Kindern Gersoms ihres Geschlechts wurden aus dem Stamm Isaschar und aus dem Stamm Asser und aus dem Stamm Naphthali und aus dem Stamm Manasse in Basan dreizehn Städte.

And to [the] descendants of Gershom to clans their from [the] tribe of Issachar and from [the] tribe of Asher and from [the] tribe of Naphtali and from [the] tribe of Manasseh in Bashan cities thir-teen.

63 Den Kindern Meraris ihres Geschlechts wurden durchs Los aus dem Stamm Ruben und aus dem Stamm Gad und aus dem Stamm Sebulon zwölf Städte.

To [the] descendants of Merari to clans their from [the] tribe of Reuben and from [the] tribe of Gad and from [the] tribe of Zebulun by the lot cities two [plus] ten.

64 Und die Kinder Israel gaben den Leviten auch Städte mit ihren Vorstädten,

And they gave [the] people of Israel to the Levites the cities and pasture lands their.

65 nämlich durchs Los aus dem Stamm der Kinder Juda und aus dem Stamm der Kinder Simeon und aus dem Stamm der Kinder Benjamin die Städte, die sie mit Namen bestimmten.

And they gave by the lot from [the] tribe of [the] descendants of Judah and from [the] tribe of [the] descendants of Simeon and from [the] tribe of [the] descendants of Benjamin the cities these which they called them by names.

66 Aber den Geschlechtern der Kinder Kahaths wurden Städte ihrer Grenze aus dem Stamm Ephraim.

And some of [the] clans of [the] descendants of Kohath and it was [the] cities of territory their [were] from [the] tribe of Ephraim.

67 So gaben sie nun ihnen, dem Geschlecht der andern Kinder Kahaths, die freien Städte: Sichem auf dem Gebirge Ephraim, Geser,

And they gave to them [the] cities of refuge Shechem and pasture lands its in [the] hill country of Ephraim and Gezer and pasture lands its.

68 Jakmeam, Beth-Horon,

And Jokmeam and pasture lands its and Beth Horon and pasture lands its.

69 Ajalon und Gath-Rimon mit ihren Vorstädten;

And Aijalon and pasture lands its and Gath Rimmon and pasture lands its.

70 dazu aus dem halben Stamm Manasse: Aner und Bileam mit ihren Vorstädten.

And from [the] half of [the] tribe of Manasseh Aner and pasture lands its and Bileam and pasture lands its for [the] clan of [the] descendants of Kohath which remained.

71 Aber den Kindern Gersoms gaben sie aus dem Geschlecht des halben Stamms Manasse: Golan in Basan und Astharoth mit ihren Vorstädten.

To [the] descendants of Gershom from [the] clan of [the] half of [the] tribe of Manasseh Golan in Bashan and pasture lands its and Ashtaroth and pasture lands its.

72 Aus dem Stamm Isaschar: Kedes, Dabrath,

And from [the] tribe of Issachar Kedesh and pasture lands its Daberath and pasture lands its.

73 Ramoth und Anem mit ihren Vorstädten.

And Ramoth and pasture lands its and Anem and pasture lands its.

74 Aus dem Stamm Asser: Masal, Abdon,

And from [the] tribe of Asher Mashal and pasture lands its and Abdon and pasture lands its.

75 Hukok und Rehob mit ihren Vorstädten.

And Hukok and pasture lands its and Rehob and pasture lands its.

76 Aus dem Stamm Naphthali: Kedes in Galiläa, Hammon und Kiriathaim mit ihren Vorstädten.

And from [the] tribe of Naphtali Kedesh in Galilee and pasture lands its and Hammon and pasture lands its and Kiriathaim and pasture lands its.

77 Den andern Kindern Meraris gaben sie aus dem Stamm Sebulon: Rimmono und Thabor mit ihren Vorstädten;

To [the] descendants of Merari which remained of [the] tribe of Zebulun (Jokneam and pasture lands its Kartah and pasture lands its *X*) Rimmono and pasture lands its Tabor and pasture lands its.

78 und jenseit des Jordans gegen Jericho, gegen der Sonnen Aufgang am Jordan, aus dem Stamm Ruben: Bezer in der Wüste, Jahza,

And from [the] other side of [the] Jordan of Jericho to [the] east of the Jordan from [the] tribe of Reuben Bezer in the wilderness and pasture lands its and Jahaz and pasture lands its.

79 Kedemoth und Mepaath mit ihren Vorstädten.

And Kedemoth and pasture lands its and Mephaath and pasture lands its.

80 Aus dem Stamm Gad: Ramoth in Gilead, Mahanaim,

And from [the] tribe of Gad Ramoth in Gilead and pasture lands its and Mahanaim and pasture lands its.

81 Hesbon und Jaeser mit ihren Vorstädten.

And Heshbon and pasture lands its and Jazer and pasture lands its.
