1 Chronik 28

1 Und David versammelte gen Jerusalem alle Obersten Israels, nämlich die Fürsten der Stämme, die Fürsten der Ordnungen, die auf den König warteten, die Fürsten über tausend und über hundert, die Fürsten über die Güter und Vieh des Königs und seiner Söhne, mit den Kämmerern, die Kriegsmänner und alle tapferen Männer.

And David called together all the rulers of Israel, the rulers of tribes and the rulers of the courses who waited upon the king, —and the rulers of thousands and the rulers of hundreds, and the rulers over all the possessions and substance that belonged to the king and to his sons, with the courtiers and the heroes, even every hero of valour, unto Jerusalem.

2 Und David, der König, stund auf seinen Füßen und sprach: Höret mir zu, meine Brüder und mein Volk! Ich hatte mir vorgenommen, ein Haus zu bauen, da ruhen sollte die Lade des Bundes des HERRN, und ein Fußschemel den Füßen unsers Gottes, und hatte mich geschickt zu bauen.

Then David the king rose up on his feet, and said, Hear me, my brethren and my people, —As for me, it was near my heart, to build a house of rest for the ark of the covenant of Yahweh, and for the footstool of our God, and I made ready to build.

3 Aber Gott ließ mir sagen: Du sollst meinem Namen nicht ein Haus bauen; denn du bist ein Kriegsmann und hast Blut vergossen.

But, God, said to me, Thou shalt not build a house for my Name, —for, a man of war, thou art, and, blood, hast thou shed.

4 Nun hat der HERR, der Gott Israels, mich erwählet aus meines Vaters ganzem Hause, daß ich König über Israel sein sollte ewiglich. Denn er hat Juda erwählet zum Fürstentum und im Hause Judas meines Vaters Haus und unter meines Vaters Kindern hat er Gefallen gehabt an mir, daß er mich über ganz Israel zum Könige machte.

Howbeit Yahweh, God of Israel, made choice of me, out of all of the house of my father, to become king over Israel unto times age-abiding, for, of Judah, had he made choice to be chief ruler, and, in the house of Judah, the house of my father, —and, among the sons of my father, with me, was he well-pleased, to make me king over all Israel;

5 Und unter allen meinen Söhnen (denn der HERR hat mir viel Söhne gegeben) hat er meinen Sohn Salomo erwählet, daß er sitzen soll auf dem Stuhl des Königreichs des HERRN über Israel.

and, from among all my sons, —for, many sons, hath Yahweh given me, —he hath made choice of Solomon my son, to sit upon the throne of the kingdom of Yahweh, over Israel.

6 Und hat mir geredet: Dein Sohn Salomo soll mein Haus und Hof bauen; denn ich habe ihn mir erwählet zum Sohn, und ich will sein Vater sein;

And he said unto am, Solomon thy son—he, shall build my house, and my courts, —for I have made choice of him that he may be my son, and that, I, may be his father.

7 und will sein Königreich bestätigen ewiglich, so er wird anhalten, daß er tue nach meinen Geboten und Rechten, wie es heute stehet.

So will I establish his kingdom, unto times age-abiding, —if he be strong, to do my commandments and my regulations, as at this day.

8 Nun vor dem ganzen Israel, der Gemeine des HERRN, und vor den Ohren unsers Gottes: So haltet und suchet alle Gebote des HERRN, eures Gottes, auf daß ihr besitzet das gute Land und beerbet auf eure Kinder nach euch ewiglich.

Now, therefore, in the eyes of all Israel—the convocation of Yahweh, and in the ears of our God, Observe and seek all the commandments of Yahweh your God, —to the end that ye may possess the good land, —and suffer your sons after you to inherit it, unto times age-abiding.

9 Und du, mein Sohn Salomo, erkenne den Gott deines Vaters und diene ihm mit ganzem Herzen und mit williger Seele! Denn der HERR suchet alle Herzen und verstehet aller Gedanken Dichten. Wirst du ihn suchen, so wirst du ihn finden; wirst du ihn aber verlassen, so wird er dich verwerfen ewiglich.

Thou, therefore, Solomon my son, Know thou the God of thy father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing soul, for, all hearts, doth Yahweh search, and, every devised purpose, doth he understand, —If thou seek him, He will be found of thee, but, if thou forsake him, He will cast thee off for ever.

10 So siehe nun zu, denn der HERR hat dich erwählet, daß du ein Haus bauest zum Heiligtum; sei getrost und mache es!

See! now, that, Yahweh, hath made choice of thee, to build a house for a sanctuary—be strong and do!

11 Und David gab seinem Sohn Salomo ein Vorbild der Halle und seines Hauses und der Gemächer und Säle und Kammern inwendig und des Hauses des Gnadenstuhls;

Then gave David unto Solomon his son, the plan of the porch, and the recesses thereof, and the treasuries thereof, and the upper rooms thereof, and the inner chambers thereof, and the recess for the propitiatory;

12 dazu Vorbilder alles, was bei ihm in seinem Gemüte war, nämlich des Hofes am Hause des HERRN und aller Gemächer umher, des Schatzes im Hause Gottes und des Schatzes der Geheiligten,

and the plan of all which had come by the spirit to be with him, for the courts of the house of Yahweh, and for all the rooms round about, —for the treasuries of the house of God, and for the treasuries of hallowed things;

13 die Ordnung der Priester und Leviten und aller Geschäfte des Amts im Hause des HERRN;

and for the courses of the priests and the Levites, and for all the work of the service of the house of Yahweh, —and for all the utensils of the service of the house of Yahweh:

14 Gold nach dem Goldgewicht zu allerlei Gefäßen eines jeglichen Amts und allerlei silbern Gezeug nach dem Gewicht zu allerlei Gefäßen eines jeglichen Amts

of gold, by weight, for the gold, for all manner of utensils for each several service, —for all manner of utensils of silver, by weight, for all manner of utensils for each several service;

15 und Gold zu güldenen Leuchtern und güldenen Lampen, einem jeglichen Leuchter und seiner Lampe sein Gewicht; also auch zu silbernen Leuchtern gab er das Silber zum Leuchter und seiner Lampe nach dem Amt eines jeglichen Leuchters.

and a weight, for the lampstands of gold, and their lamps of gold, by the weight of each several lampstand, and the lamps thereof, —and for the lampstands of silver by weight, for each lampstand and the lamps thereof, according to the service of each several lampstand.

16 Auch gab er zu Tischen der Schaubrote Gold, zu jeglichem Tisch sein Gewicht, also auch Silber zu silbernen Tischen,

And the gold [gave he] by weight for the tables for setting in array, for each several table, —and silver, for the tables of silver;

17 und lauter Gold zu Kreueln, Becken und Kandeln und zu güldenen Bechern, einem jeglichen Becher sein Gewicht, und zu silbernen Bechern, einem jeglichen Becher sein Gewicht,

and the fleshhooks and the bowls and the cups, pure gold, —and for the goblets of gold, by weight for each several goblet, and for the goblets of silver, by weight for each several goblet;

18 und zum Räuchaltar das allerlauterste Gold, sein Gewicht; auch ein Vorbild des Wagens der güldenen Cherubim, daß sie sich ausbreiteten und bedeckten oben die Lade des Bundes des HERRN.

and, for the altar of incense, refined gold, by weight, —and, for the pattern of the chariot of the cherubim, gold, for them that were spreading out, and covering the ark of the covenant of Yahweh: —

19 Alles ist mir beschrieben gegeben von der Hand des HERRN, daß mich's unterweisete alle Werke des Vorbildes.

the whole in writing, From the hand of Yahweh upon me, to give understanding, —all the works of the pattern.

20 Und David sprach zu seinem Sohn Salomo: Sei getrost und unverzagt und mache es; fürchte dich nicht und zage nicht! Gott der HERR, mein Gott, wird mit dir sein und wird die Hand nicht abziehen noch dich verlassen, bis du alle Werke zum Amt im Hause des HERRN vollendest.

Then said David, unto Solomon his son, Be strong and bold, and act, thou mayest not fear nor be dismayed, —for, Yahweh, God, my God, will be with thee, he will not let thee go, neither will he forsake thee, until thou hast finished all the work of the service of the house of Yahweh.

21 Siehe da, die Ordnung der Priester und Leviten zu allen Ämtern im Hause Gottes sind mit dir zu allem Geschäfte und sind willig und weise zu allen Ämtern, dazu die Fürsten und alles Volk zu allen deinen Händeln.

And there are the courses of the priests and the Levites, for all the service of the house of God, —and, with thee, in all manner of work, is every willing, skilful man for any service, also the rulers and all the people, for all thine affairs.
