1 Chronik 2

1 Dies sind die Kinder Israels: Ruben, Simeon, Levi, Juda, Isaschar, Sebulon,

These, are the sons of Israel, —Reuben, Simeon, Levi, and Judah, Issachar, and Zebulun;

2 Dan, Joseph, Benjamin, Naphthali, Gad, Asser.

Dan, Joseph, and Benjamin, Naphtali, Gad, and Asher,

3 Die Kinder Judas sind: Ger, Onan, Sela. Die drei wurden ihm geboren von der Kanaanitin, der Tochter Suas. Ger aber, der erste Sohn Judas, war böse vor dem HERRN, darum tötete er ihn.

the sons of Judah, Er, and Onan, and Shelah, the three born to him of the daughter of Shua the Canaanitess, —but Er the firstborn of Judah became wicked in the eyes of Yahweh, and he slew him.

4 Thamar aber, seine Schnur, gebar ihm Perez und Serah, daß aller Kinder Judas waren fünf.

And, Tamar his daughter-in-law, bare him, Perez and Zerah. All the sons of Judah, were five.

5 Die Kinder Perez sind: Hezron und Hamul.

The sons of Perez, Hezron and Hamul.

6 Die Kinder aber Serahs sind: Simri, Ethan, Heman, Chalkol, Dara. Der aller sind fünf.

And, the sons of Zerah, Zimri and Ethan, and Heman and Calcol and Dara, all of them, five.

7 Die Kinder Charmis sind Achan, welcher betrübete Israel, da er sich am Verbanneten vergriff.

And, the sons of Carmi, Achar, the troubler of Israel, who transgressed in a thing devoted.

8 Die Kinder Ethans sind Asarja.

And, the sons of Ethan, Azariah.

9 Die Kinder aber Hezrons, die ihm geboren, sind: Jerahmeel, Ram, Chalubai.

And, the sons of Hezron, who were born to him, Jerahmeel, and Ram, and Calubai.

10 Ram aber zeugete Amminadab. Amminadab zeugete Nahesson, den Fürsten der Kinder Juda.

And, Ram, begat Amminadab, —and, Amminadab, begat Nahshon, leader of the sons of Judah.

11 Nahesson zeugete Salma. Salma zeugete Boas.

And, Nahshon, begat Salma, and, Salma, begat Boaz;

12 Boas zeugete Obed. Obed zeugete Isai.

and, Boaz, begat Obed, and, Obed, begat Jesse;

13 Isai zeugete seinen ersten Sohn Eliab, Abinadab den andern, Simea den dritten,

and, Jesse, begat—his firstborn, Eliab, —and Abinadab, the second, and Shimea, the third;

14 Nethaneel den vierten, Raddai den fünften,

Nethanel, the fourth, Raddai, the fifth;

15 Ozem den sechsten, David den siebenten.

Ozem, the sixth, David, the seventh.

16 Und ihre Schwestern waren: Zerujas und Abigail. Die Kinder Zerujas sind: Abisai, Joab, Asahel, die drei.

And, their sisters, were Zeruiah and Abigail, —and, the sons of Zeruiah, Abishai and Joab and Asahel, three,

17 Abigail aber gebar Amasa. Der Vater aber Amasas war Jether, ein Ismaeliter.

And, Abigail, bare Amasa, —and, the father of Amasa, was Jether the Ishmaelite.

18 Kaleb, der Sohn Hezrons, zeugete mit Asuba, seiner Frau, und Jerigoth; und dies sind derselben Kinder: Jeser, Sobab und Ardon.

And, Caleb son of Hezron, begat children of Azubah his wife, and of Jerioth, —and, these, were her sons, Jesher and Shobab and Ardon.

19 Da aber Asuba starb, nahm Kaleb Ephrath; die gebar ihm Hur.

And Azubah died, —and Caleb took unto him Ephrath, and she bare to him Hur.

20 Hur gebar Uri. Uri gebar Bezaleel.

And, Hur, begat Uri, and, Uri, begat Bezalel.

21 Danach beschlief Hezron die Tochter Machirs, des Vaters Gileads; und er nahm sie, da er war sechzig Jahre alt; und sie gebar ihm Segub.

And, afterward, Hezron went in unto the daughter of Machir, father of Gilead, and he took her when he was sixty years old, —and she bare him Segub.

22 Segub aber zeugete Jair, der hatte dreiundzwanzig Städte im Lande Gilead.

And, Segub, begat Jair, —who came to have twenty-three cities, in the land of Gilead;

23 Und er kriegte aus denselben Gesur und Aram, die Flecken Jairs, dazu Kenath mit ihren Töchtern, sechzig Städte. Das sind alle Kinder Machirs, des Vaters Gileads.

but Geshur and Aram took the towns of Jair from them, with Kenath and the villages thereof, sixty cities. All these, were the sons of Machir, father of Gilead.

24 Nach dem Tode Hezrons in Kaleb-Ephratha ließ Hezron, Abia, sein Weib, die gebar ihm Ashur, den Vater Thekoas.

And, after the death of Hezron, Caleb entered Ephrathah, —and, the wife of Hezron, was Abiah, who bare him Ashur, father of Tekoa.

25 Jerahmeel, der erste Sohn Hezrons, hatte Kinder: den ersten Ram, Buna, Oren und Ozem und Ahia.

And the sons of Jerahmeel firstborn of Hezron were, the firstborn, Ram, —and Bunah, and Oren, and Ozem [of] Ahijah.

26 Und Jerahmeel hatte noch ein ander Weib, die hieß Atara, die ist die Mutter Onams.

And Jerahmeel had another wife, whose name, was Atarah, —the same, was the mother of Onam.

27 Die Kinder aber Rams, des ersten Sohns Jerahmeels, sind: Maaz, Jamin und Eker.

And the sons of Ram, the firstborn of Jerameel, were, —Maaz and Jamin, and Eker.

28 Aber Onam hatte Kinder: Samai und Jada. Die Kinder aber Samais sind: Nadab und Abisur.

And the sons of Onam were, Shammai and Jada, —and, the sons of Shammai, Nadab and Abishur.

29 Das Weib aber Abisurs hieß Abihail, die ihm gebar Achban und Molid.

And, the name of the wife of Abishur, was Abihail, —and she bare him Ahban, and Molid.

30 Die Kinder aber Nadabs sind: Seled und Appaim; und Seled starb ohne Kinder.

And, the sons of Nadab, Seled and Appaim, —but Seled died without sons.

31 Die Kinder Appaims sind Jesei. Die Kinder Jeseis sind Sesan. Die Kinder Sesans sind Ahelai.

And, the sons of Appaim, Ishi, and, the sons of Ishi, Sheshan, and, the sons of Sheshan, Ahlai.

32 Die Kinder aber Jadas, des Bruders Samais, sind: Jether und Jonathan; Jether aber starb ohne Kinder.

And, the sons of Jada, brother of Shammai, Jether, and Jonathan, —but Jether died without sons.

33 Die Kinder aber Jonathans sind: Peleth und Sasa. Das sind die Kinder Jerahmeels.

And the sons of Jonathan, Peleth and Zaza. These, were the sons of Jerahmeel.

34 Sesan aber hatte nicht Söhne, sondern Töchter. Und Sesan hatte einen ägyptischen Knecht, der hieß Jarha.

Now Sheshan had, no sons, but, daughters, —and, Sheshan, had a servant, an Egyptian, whose name was Jarha;

35 Und Sesan gab Jarha, seinem Knechte, seine Tochter zum Weibe, die gebar ihm Athai.

so Sheshan gave his daughter to Jarha his servant, to wife, —and she bare him Attai.

36 Athai zeugete Nathan. Nathan zeugete Sabad.

And, Attai, begat Nathan, and, Nathan, begat Zabad;

37 Sabad zeugete Ephlal. Ephlal zeugete Obed.

and, Zabad, begat Ephlal, and, Ephlal, begat Obed;

38 Obed zeugete Jehu. Jehu zeugete Asarja.

and, Obed, begat Jehu, and, Jehu, begat Azariah;

39 Asarja zeugete Halez. Halez zeugete Eleasa.

and, Azariah, begat Helez, and, Helez, begat Eleasah;

40 Eleasa zeugete Sissemai. Sissemai zeugete Sallum.

and, Eleasah, begat Sismai, and, Sismai, begat Shallum;

41 Sallum zeugete Jekamia. Jekamia zeugete Elisama.

and, Shallum, begat Jekamiah, and, Jekamiah, begat Elishama.

42 Die Kinder Kalebs, des Bruders Jerahmeels, sind: Mesa, sein erster Sohn, der ist der Vater Siphs, und der Kinder Maresas, des Vaters Hebrons.

Now, the sons of Caleb, brother of Jerahmeel, were, Mesha his firstborn, the same, was the father of Ziph, —and the sons of Mareshah the father of Hebron.

43 Die Kinder aber Hebrons sind: Korah, Thapuah, Rekem und Sama.

And, the sons of Hebron, Korah and Tappuah, and Rekem and Shema.

44 Sama aber zeugete Raham, den Vater Jarkaams. Rekem zeugete Samai.

And, Shema, begat Raham, the father of Jorkeam, —and, Rekem, begat Shammai.

45 Der Sohn aber Samais hieß Maon, und Maon war der Vater Bethzurs.

And, the son of Shammai, was Maon, —and, Maon, was the father of Beth-zur.

46 Epha aber, das Kebsweib Kalebs, gebar Haran, Moza und Gases. Haran aber zeugete Gases.

And, Ephah, the concubine of Caleb, bare Haran and Moza, and Gazez, —and, Haran, begat Gazez.

47 Die Kinder aber Jahdais sind: Regem, Jotham, Gesan, Pelet, Epha und Saaph.

And, the sons of Jahdai, Regem and Jotham and Geshan and Pelet, and Ephah and Shaaph.

48 Aber Maecha, das Kebsweib Kalebs, gebar Seber und Thirhena;

A concubine of Caleb, Maacah, bare Sheber, and Tirhanah;

49 und gebar auch Saaph, den Vater Madmannas, und Sewa, den Vater Machbenas, und den Vater Gibeas. Aber Achsa war Kalebs Tochter.

she also bare Shaaph, father of Madmannah, Sheva, father of Machbena, and father of Gibea, —and, the daughter of Caleb, was Achsah.

50 Dies waren die Kinder Kalebs: Hur, der erste Sohn von Ephratha; Sobal, der Vater Kiriath-Jearims;

These, were the sons of Caleb, sons of Hur, firstborn of Ephrathah, —Shobal, the father of Kiriath-jearim;

51 Salma, der Vater Bethlehems; Hareph, der Vater Beth-Gaders.

Salma, the father of Bethlehem, Hareph, the father of Beth-gader.

52 Und Sobal, der Vater Kiriath-Jearims, hatte Söhne, der sah die Hälfte Manuhoths.

And Shobal, the father of Kiriath-jearim had sons, —Haroeh, half of the Menuhoth.

53 Die Freundschaften aber zu Kiriath-Jearim waren die Jethriter, Puthiter, Sumathiter und Misraiter. Von diesen sind auskommen die Zaregathiter und Esthaoliter.

And, the families of Kiriath-jearim, were the Ithrites, and the Puthites, and the Shumathites, and the Mishraites, —from these, came the Zorathites, and the Eshtaolites.

54 Die Kinder Salmas sind Bethlehem und die Netophathiter, die Krone des Hauses Joabs, und die Hälfte der Manahthiter von dem Zareither.

The sons of Salma, were Bethlehem, and the Netophathites, Atrothbeth-joab, —and half of the Manahathites, the Zorites;

55 Und die Freundschaften der Schreiber, die zu Jabez wohneten, sind die Thireathiter, Simeathiter, Suchathiter. Das sind die Kiniter, die da kommen sind von Hamath, des Vaters Beth-Rechabs.

and the families of scribes who dwelt at Jabez, the Tirathites, the Shimeathites, the Sucathites. The same, are the Kenites who came in from Hammath, father of the house of Rechab.
