Sacharja 6
1 Wieder blickte ich auf und sah, da erschienen auf einmal vier Wagen, die zwischen den beiden Bergen hervorkamen; die Berge aber waren von Erz.
Againe, I turned and lift vp mine eyes, and looked: and beholde, there came foure charets out from betweene two mountaines, and the mountaines were mountaines of brasse.
2 Am ersten Wagen waren rotbraune Rosse und am zweiten Wagen schwarze Rosse,
In the first charet were red horses, and in the second charet blacke horses,
3 am dritten Wagen waren weiße Rosse und am vierten Wagen gescheckte Rosse.
And in the thirde charet white horses, and in the fourth charet, horses of diuers colours, and reddish.
4 Da hob ich an und fragte den Engel, der mit mir redete: Was hat dies zu bedeuten, Herr?
Then I answered, and saide vnto the Angell that talked with mee, What are these, my Lord?
5 Da hob der Engel an und sprach zu mir: Das sind die vier Winde des Himmels; sie ziehen aus, nachdem sie sich soeben vor dem Gebieter über die ganze Erde gestellt hatten.
And the Angell answered, and sayde vnto mee, These are the foure spirites of the heauen, which goe foorth from standing with the Lord of all the earth.
6 Der Wagen mit den schwarzen Rossen war auf der Ausfahrt nach den Ländern im Norden, und die weißen fuhren hinter ihnen drein; die gescheckten fuhren aus nach den Ländern im Süden.
That with the blacke horse went forth into the land of the North, and the white went out after them, and they of diuers colours went forth toward the South countrey.
7 Und auch die rotbraunen fuhren aus; und da sie abzugehen wünschten, um die Erde zu durchstreifen, befahl er: Fort! Durchstreift die Erde! und sie durchstreiften die Erde.
And the reddish went out, and required to go, and passe through the world, and he sayde, Goe passe through the worlde. So they went thorowout the world.
8 Dann rief er mich und sagte zu mir Folgendes: Sieh! Die, welche nach den Ländern im Norden ausfahren, bringen meinen Geist durch die Vollstreckung des Gerichts an den Ländern des Nordens zur Ruhe.
Then cryed hee vpon me, and spake vnto me, saying, Beholde, these that goe towarde the North countrey, haue pacified my spirit in the North countrey.
9 Und das Wort Jahwes erging an mich folgendermaßen:
And the worde of the Lord came vnto me, saying,
10 Nimm von den Gaben der in der Gefangenschaft weilenden Gemeinde durch Heldai entgegen, was von Seiten Tobias und Jedajas gespendet ist; dann gehe an jenem gleichen Tag in eigener Person und begieb dich in das Haus Josias, des Sohnes Zephanias, wohin sie von Babel gekommen sind.
Take of them of ye captiuitie, euen of Heldai, and of Tobijah, and Iedaiah, which are come from Babel, and come thou the same day, and goe vnto the house of Ioshiah, the sonne of Zephaniah.
11 Dort nimm Silber und Gold, fertige Kronen daraus und setze sie Serubabel und Josua, dem Sohne Jozadaks, dem Hohenpriester, aufs Haupt
Take euen siluer, and golde, and make crownes, and set them vpon the head of Iehoshua, the sonne of Iehozadak the hie Priest,
12 und sprich zu ihnen also: So spricht Jahwe der Heerscharen: Fürwahr, ein Mann mit Namen “Sproß” - unter dem wird es sprossen, und er wird den Tempel Jahwes bauen.
And speake vnto him, saying, Thus speaketh the Lord of hostes, and sayth, Behold the man whose name is the Branch, and he shall growe vp out of his place, and he shall build the Temple of the Lord.
13 Er wird den Tempel Jahwes bauen und er wird Hoheit davontragen, so daß er dasitzt und herrscht auf seinem Thron, und es wird ein Priester zu seiner Rechten sein, und friedliches Einvernehmen wird zwischen ihnen beiden bestehen.
Euen hee shall build the Temple of the Lord, and he shall beare the glory, and shall sit and rule vpon his throne, and he shalbe a Priest vpon his throne, and the counsell of peace shall be betweene them both.
14 Die Kronen aber sollen zum Andenken an Heldai, an Tobia und Jedaja und an Josia, den Sohn Zephanias, im Tempel Jahwes bleiben.
And the crownes shall be to Helem, and to Tobijah, and to Iedaiah, and to Hen the sonne of Zephaniah, for a memoriall in the Temple of the Lord.
15 Und die in der Ferne wohnen, werden kommen, um am Tempel Jahwes zu bauen, damit ihr erkennet, daß mich Jahwe der Heerscharen zu euch gesandt hat, und wenn ihr den Geboten Jahwes, eures Gottes, treulich gehorcht, wird es geschehen. . . .
And they that are farre off, shall come and build in the Temple of the Lord, and ye shall know, that the Lord of hostes hath sent me vnto you. And this shall come to passe, if ye will obey the voyce of the Lord your God.
