1 Paulus, Knecht Jesus Christus', berufener Apostel, auserkoren für die Verkündigung des Evangeliums Gottes,
PAULOS, a servant of Jeshu Meshiha, called, and an apostle, who hath been separated unto the gospel of Aloha,
2 welches derselbe voraus verheißen hat durch seine Propheten in heiligen Schriften,
which from of old he had promised by the hand of the prophets, in the holy writings,
3 nämlich von seinem Sohn, der gekommen ist aus Davids Samen nach dem Fleisch, gesetzt zum Sohn Gottes mit Macht
concerning his Son, who was born, according to the flesh, of the seed of the house of David,
4 nach dem Geist der Heiligkeit kraft der Auferstehung von den Toten, von Jesus Christus unserem Herrn,
and is known (to be) the Son of Aloha by power, and by the Holy Spirit, who raised him from among the dead, Jeshu Meshiha our Lord:
5 durch den wir empfangen haben Gnade und Apostelamt für den Gehorsam des Glaubens unter allen Völkern um seines Namens willen,
by whom we have received grace and apostleship among all nations, that they should become obedient unto the faith of his name:
6 unter welchen auch ihr seid als Berufene Jesus Christus'.
and you also are of them, called in Jeshu Meshiha:
7 an alle Geliebte Gottes, berufene Heilige in Rom. Gnade euch und Friede von Gott unserem Vater und dem Herrn Jesus Christus.
To all who are in Ruma, beloved of Aloha, called and saints; peace and grace be with you from Aloha our Father, and from our Lord Jeshu Meshiha.
8 Fürs erste danke ich meinem Gott durch Jesus Christus euer aller wegen, daß man von eurem Glauben in der ganzen Welt spricht.
First, I praise my God through Jeshu Meshiha on behalf of you all, that your faith is heard (of) in all the world.
9 Denn Gott, dem ich diene mit meinem Geist am Evangelium seines Sohnes, ist mein Zeuge,
For a witness unto me is Aloha, whom I serve in the spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing at all time I remember you in my prayers.
10 wie ich ohne Unterlaß euer gedenke allezeit in meinem Gebet mit der Bitte, ob es mir doch einmal mit Gottes Willen gelingen möge, zu euch zu kommen.
And I pray that from now there may be opened unto me the way, by the will of Aloha, to come to you.
11 Denn mich verlangt euch zu sehen: ich möchte gerne euch etwas bringen von geistlicher Gabe zu eurer Befestigung,
For I greatly desire to see you, and to impart to you the gift of the Spirit,
12 das heißt: mit euch Bestärkung austauschen durch unsern beiderseitigen Glauben.
that thereby you may be established, and that together we may be comforted by your faith and mine.
13 Es drängt mich, euch zu sagen, Brüder, daß ich schon oft den Vorsatz hatte zu euch zu kommen - ich bin nur bis daher verhindert worden -, um auch unter euch einige Frucht zu erleben wie unter den übrigen Völkern.
BUT I will that you know, my brethren, that many times I have willed to come to you, and have been hindered until this;
14 Griechen und Barbaren, Weisen und Unverständigen bin ich Schuldner.
that among you also I may have fruit as among the rest of the nations of the Javnoyee and Barbaroyee, the wise and the foolish,
15 Daher der gute Wille von mir aus, auch euch in Rom das Evangelium zu verkünden.
because to every man am I obligated to preach; and so am I urged to evangelize unto you also who are in Ruma.
16 Denn ich schäme mich des Evangeliums nicht; ist es doch Gottes Kraft zum Heile jedem Glaubenden, so wie dem Juden zuerst so auch dem Griechen.
For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of Aloha for the salvation of all who believe in him, whether of the Jihudoyee first, or of the Aramoyee:
17 Denn Gottes Gerechtigkeit wird darin geoffenbart aus Glauben zu Glauben, wie denn geschrieben steht: Der Gerechte aber wird aus Glauben leben.
for the righteousness of Aloha in it is revealed from faith to faith, as it is written, The righteous by faith shall live.
18 Denn Gottes Zorngericht wird geoffenbart vom Himmel her über alle Gottlosigkeit und Ungerechtigkeit der Menschen, die die Wahrheit durch Ungerechtigkeit niederhalten.
For the wrath of Aloha is revealed from heaven against all the unrighteousness and depravity of the sons of men, who the truth in unrighteousness detain.
19 Denn was von Gott zu erkennen ist, ist unter ihnen offenbar, Gott hat es ihnen geoffenbart;
Because the knowledge of Aloha is revealed in them; for Aloha revealed it in them.
20 wird ja sein unsichtbares Wesen von Erschaffung der Welt her an seinen Werken durch das Denken gesehen, nämlich seine ewige Kraft sowohl als Gottesgüte: damit sie ohne Entschuldigung seien, (aïdios g126)
For the occult things of Aloha from the foundations of the world, unto his creatures by intelligence are apparent, and his power and his Godhead eternal, that they may be without excuse. (aïdios g126)
21 darum nämlich, weil sie Gott wohl erkannt, aber ihn nicht als Gott gepriesen oder mit Dank erkannt haben, sondern eitel geworden sind in ihren Gedanken, und ihr unverständiges Herz sich verfinstert hat.
For when they knew Aloha, they did not as Aloha glorify him and praise him, but became vain in their imaginations, and their heart was darkened, that they understood not.
22 Zu Thoren sind sie geworden, da sie gar weise thaten;
And while thinking in themselves that they were wise, they were fools.
23 für die Herrlichkeit des unvergänglichen Gottes haben sie eingetauscht das Nachbild der Gestalt vergänglicher Menschen, Vögel, vierfüßiger und kriechender Tiere.
And they changed the glory of Aloha the Incorruptible into the likeness of the image of corruptible man, and into the likeness of birds and of four-footed (beasts) and of reptiles of the earth.
24 Darum hat sie Gott dahingegeben durch ihres Herzens Gelüste in Unreinigkeit, zur Entehrung ihrer Leiber an ihnen selbst,
Because of this Aloha delivered them up to the unclean lusts of their hearts, that they would debase their bodies among them.
25 als welche vertauscht hatten die Wahrheit Gottes mit der Lüge, und Andacht und Gebet gebracht dem Geschöpfe statt des Schöpfers: der da ist gepriesen in Ewigkeit, Amen. (aiōn g165)
And they changed the truth of Aloha into a lie, and worshipped and served the creatures rather than their Creator, to whom be praises and blessings for ever and ever. Amen. (aiōn g165)
26 Deshalb hat sie Gott dahingegeben in schimpfliche Leidenschaften: ihre Weiber sowohl haben die natürliche Uebung in die widernatürliche verkehrt,
WHEREFORE Aloha delivered them up to passions of vileness: for their females changed the use of their nature, and to what is not natural were used.
27 als auch die Männer haben den natürlichen Umgang mit dem Weibe aufgegeben und sind in wilder Begierde aneinander geraten Mann an Mann in schamlosem Thun. So haben sie den gebührenden Lohn ihrer Verirrung an sich selbst ertragen.
And also their males likewise left the natural use of their females, and were inflamed with concupiscence one with another, and male with male wrought shamefulness, and the just retribution for their perverseness in themselves received.
28 Und wie sie Gottes Erkenntnis verachtet hatten, so hat Gott sie dahingegeben in verächtlichen Sinn, das Ungebührliche zu thun,
And as they did not decide in themselves to know Aloha, so did Aloha cause them to be delivered up to a mind of vainness, and to do what is not fit;
29 erfüllt mit aller Ungerechtigkeit, Schlechtigkeit, Bosheit, Habsucht, voll von Neid, Mord, Zank, Lug und Trug, als Ohrenbläser,
being filled with all wickedness, and uncleanness, and rancour, and malice, and rapacity, and envy, and murder, and contention, and deceit, and evil imaginings, and murmurings,
30 Verleumder, Gottesfeinde, frech, hoffärtig, prahlerisch, Böses erfindend, Elternverächter,
and slanders, and hating of Aloha: vilifiers, inflated ones, boasters, inventors of evil things, mindless, disobedient to parents,
31 ohne Verstand und Halt, ohne Herz und Barmherzigkeit.
(men) to whom a compact is nothing, and (who) neither love peace nor (have) mercy in them; who,
32 Sie kennen wohl Gottes Recht, daß wer solches thut des Todes würdig ist, und doch thun sie es nicht nur selbst, sondern geben auch noch Beifall, wenn es andere thun.
knowing the judgment of Aloha, that they who these things do, unto death are condemned, (yet) not only do them, but also participate with those who do them.
