Offenbarung 5

1 Und ich sah auf der rechten Hand dessen, der auf dem Throne saß, ein Buch, innen und auf der Rückseite beschrieben, mit sieben Siegeln versiegelt.

And I saw lying in the right hand of Him who sat on the throne a book written on both sides and closely sealed with seven seals.

2 Und ich sah einen gewaltigen Engel, der verkündete mit lauter Stimme: wer ist würdig zu öffnen das Buch und zu lösen seine Siegel?

And I saw a mighty angel who was exclaiming in a loud voice, "Who is worthy to open the book and break its seals?"

3 Und niemand vermochte es, weder im Himmel, noch auf der Erde, noch unter der Erde, das Buch zu öffnen noch hineinzusehen.

But no one in Heaven, or on earth, or under the earth, was able to open the book or look into it.

4 Und ich weinte sehr, daß niemand würdig befunden ward, das Buch zu öffnen noch hineinzusehen.

And while I was weeping bitterly, because no one was found worthy to open the book or look into it,

5 Und einer von den Aeltesten sagt zu mir: weine nicht, siehe der Löwe aus dem Stamm Juda, die Wurzel David, hat überwunden, um zu öffnen das Buch und seine sieben Siegel.

one of the Elders said to me, "Do not weep. The Lion which belongs to the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed, and will open the book and break its seven seals."

6 Und ich sah inmitten des Thrones und der vier Tiere und der Aeltesten ein Lamm stehen als wie geschlachtet, mit sieben Hörnern und sieben Augen, das sind die sieben Geister Gottes, ausgesandt auf die ganze Erde;

Then, midway between the throne and the four living creatures, I saw a Lamb standing among the Elders. He looked as if He had been offered in sacrifice, and He had seven horns and seven eyes. The last-named are the seven Spirits of God, and have been sent far and wide into all the earth.

7 und es trat herzu und empfieng es aus der Rechten dessen, der auf dem Throne saß.

So He comes, and now He has taken the book out of the right hand of Him who is seated on the throne.

8 Und wie es das Buch nahm, fielen die vier Tiere und die vierundzwanzig Aeltesten nieder vor dem Lamm; jeder hatte eine Cither und goldene Schalen voll Weihrauch, das sind die Gebete der Heiligen.

And when He had taken the book, the four living creatures and the twenty-four Elders fell down before the Lamb, having each of them a harp and bringing golden bowls full of incense, which represent the prayers of God's people.

9 Und sie singen ein neues Lied, also: Würdig bist du zu nehmen das Buch und zu öffnen seine Siegel; denn du wardst geschlachtet und hast für Gott erkauft durch dein Blut solche von jedem Stamm und Sprache und Volk und Nation,

And now they sing a new song. "It is fitting," they say, "that Thou shouldst be the One to take the book And break its seals; Because Thou hast been offered in sacrifice, And hast purchased for God with Thine own blood Some out of every tribe and language and people and nation,

10 und hast sie unserem Gott gemacht zu einem Königtum und zu Priestern, und sie werden herrschen auf der Erde.

And hast formed them into a Kingdom to be priests to our God, And they reign over the earth."

11 Und ich sah und hörte wie eine Stimme von vielen Engeln rings um den Thron und von den Tieren und den Aeltesten, und ihre Zahl war zehntausendmal Zehntausende und tausendmal Tausende,

And I looked, and heard what seemed to be the voices of countless angels on every side of the throne, and of the living creatures and the Elders. Their number was myriads of myriads and thousands of thousands,

12 die riefen laut: Würdig ist das Lamm, das geschlachtet ist, zu nehmen Gewalt und Reichtum und Weisheit und Stärke und Ehre und Preis und Segen.

and in loud voices they were singing, "It is fitting that the Lamb which has been offered in sacrifice should receive all power and riches and wisdom and might and honor and glory and blessing."

13 Und alle Geschöpfe im Himmel und auf der Erde und unter der Erde und auf dem Meere, alles was darin ist, hörte ich sagen: Dem, der da sitzt auf dem Thron, und dem Lamm Segen und Ehre und Preis und Herrschaft in alle Ewigkeit. (aiōn g165)

And as for every created thing in Heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and everything that was in any of these, I heard them say, "To Him who is seated on the throne, And to the Lamb, Be ascribed all blessing and honor And glory and might, Until the Ages of the Ages!" (aiōn g165)

14 Und die vier Tiere sprachen: Amen. Und die Aeltesten fielen nieder und beteten an.

Then the four living creatures said "Amen," and the Elders fell down and worshipped.
