Psalm 100

1 Ein Psalm beim Dankopfer. Jauchzt Jahwe, alle Lande!

A psalm of thanksgiving. Shout joyfully to Yahweh, all the earth.

2 Dient Jahwe mit Freuden, kommt vor sein Angesicht mit Jubel!

Serve Yahweh with gladness; come before his presence with joyful singing.

3 Erkennt, daß Jahwe Gott ist! Er hat uns gemacht und sein sind wir, sein Volk und die Schafe seiner Weide.

Know that Yahweh is God; he made us, and we are his. We are his people and the sheep of his pasture.

4 Geht in seine Thore mit Danken ein, in seine Vorhöfe mit Lobgesang: danket ihm, preist seinen Namen!

Enter into his gates with thanksgiving and into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and bless his name.

5 Denn gütig ist Jahwe: ewig währt seine Gnade, und bis in die fernsten Geschlechter seine Treue.

For Yahweh is good; his covenant faithfulness endures forever and his truthfulness through all generations.
