Markus 1
1 Anfang des Evangeliums von Jesus Christus: Wie geschrieben steht in dem Propheten Jesaias:
Beginning of the glad tidings of Jesus Christ, Son of God;
2 Siehe, ich sende meinen Boten vor dir her, der soll dir den Weg bereiten;
as it is written in [Isaiah] the prophet, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, who shall prepare thy way.
3 hört, wie es ruft in der Wüste: bereitet den Weg des Herrn, macht eben seine Pfade.
Voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare the way of [the] Lord, make his paths straight.
4 So trat auf Johannes der Täufer in der Wüste, und verkündete eine Taufe der Buße zu Sündenvergebung.
There came John baptising in the wilderness, and preaching [the] baptism of repentance for remission of sins.
5 Uns es zog zu ihm hinaus das ganze judäische Land und die Jerusalemiten alle, und ließen sich von ihm taufen im Jordanfluß, indem sie ihre Sünden bekannten.
And there went out to him all the district of Judaea, and all they of Jerusalem, and were baptised by him in the river Jordan, confessing their sins.
6 Und Johannes war gekleidet in Kamelshaar mit einem ledernen Gürtel um seine Lende, und aß Heuschrecken und wilden Honig.
And John was clothed in camel's hair, and a leathern girdle about his loins, and ate locusts and wild honey.
7 Und er verkündete: es kommt nach mir, der stärker ist als ich, für den ich nicht gut genug bin mich zu bücken und ihm den Schuhriemen zu lösen.
And he preached, saying, There comes he that is mightier than I after me, the thong of whose sandals I am not fit to stoop down and unloose.
8 Ich habe euch mit Wasser getauft, er aber wird euch mit heiligem Geiste taufen.
I indeed have baptised you with water, but he shall baptise you with [the] Holy Spirit.
9 Und es geschah, in jenen Tagen kam Jesus von Nazaret in Galiläa, und ließ sich von Johannes im Jordan taufen.
And it came to pass in those days [that] Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptised by John at the Jordan.
10 Und alsbald, da er aufstieg vom Wasser, sah er die Himmel sich spalten und den Geist wie eine Taube auf ihn herabfahren,
And straightway going up from the water, he saw the heavens parting asunder, and the Spirit, as a dove, descending upon him.
11 und eine Stimme aus den Himmeln sprach: du bist mein geliebter Sohn, an dir habe ich Wohlgefallen gefunden.
And there came a voice out of the heavens: Thou art my beloved Son, in thee I have found my delight.
12 Und alsbald treibt ihn der Geist in die Wüste,
And immediately the Spirit drives him out into the wilderness.
13 und er war in der Wüste vierzig Tage lang und wurde versucht vom Satan, und war bei den wilden Thieren, und die Engel dienten ihm.
And he was in the wilderness forty days tempted by Satan, and was with the wild beasts; and the angels ministered to him.
14 Nach der Verhaftung des Johannes kam Jesus nach Galiläa und verkündete das Evangelium Gottes:
But after John was delivered up, Jesus came into Galilee preaching the glad tidings of the kingdom of God,
15 die Zeit ist erfüllt und das Reich Gottes herbeigekommen, thut Buße und glaubet an das Evangelium.
and saying, The time is fulfilled and the kingdom of God has drawn nigh; repent and believe in the glad tidings.
16 Und da er am galiläischen See dahinzog, sah er Simon und Simons Bruder Andreas, wie sie auswarfen im See; denn sie waren Fischer.
And walking by the sea of Galilee, he saw Simon, and Andrew, [Simon's] brother, casting out a net in the sea, for they were fishers.
17 Und Jesus sagte zu ihnen: kommt mir nach, so will ich euch Menschenfischer werden lassen,
And Jesus said to them, Come after me, and I will make you become fishers of men;
18 und alsbald ließen sie die Netze und folgten ihm.
and straightway leaving their trawl-nets they followed him.
19 Und da er ein wenig weitergieng, sah er Jakobus, den Sohn des Zebedäus, und seinen Bruder Johannes, ebenfalls im Schiffe, an der Ausrichtung der Netze,
And going on thence a little, he saw James the [son] of Zebedee, and John his brother, and these [were] in the ship repairing the trawl-nets;
20 und alsbald berief er sie; und sie ließen ihren Vater Zebedäus im Schiffe mit den Tagelöhnern, und giengen hin ihm nach.
and straightway he called them; and leaving their father Zebedee in the ship with the hired servants, they went away after him.
21 Und sie ziehen hinein nach Kapernaum; und alsbald gieng er am Sabbat in die Synagoge und lehrte,
And they go into Capernaum. And straightway on the sabbath he entered into the synagogue and taught.
22 und sie waren betroffen über seine Lehre; denn er lehrte sie wie einer der Vollmacht hat und nicht wie die Schriftgelehrten.
And they were astonished at his doctrine, for he taught them as having authority, and not as the scribes.
23 Und alsbald war in ihrer Synagoge ein Mensch mit einem unreinen Geist, der schrie auf:
And there was in their synagogue a man [possessed] by an unclean spirit, and he cried out
24 was willst du von uns, Jesus von Nazaret? bist du gekommen, uns zu verderben? Wir wissen, wer du bist: der Heilige Gottes.
saying, Eh! what have we to do with thee, Jesus, Nazarene? Art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art, the holy one of God.
25 Und Jesus bedrohte ihn: verstumme und fahre aus von ihm.
And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace and come out of him.
26 Und der unreine Geist verzerrte ihn und fuhr mit lautem Geschrei von ihm aus.
And the unclean spirit, having torn him, and uttered a cry with a loud voice, came out of him.
27 Und alles war voll Staunen, man fragte sich: was ist das? eine neue Lehre mit Vollmacht! auch den unreinen Geistern gebietet er und sie gehorchen ihm!
And all were amazed, so that they questioned together among themselves, saying, What is this? what new doctrine is this? for with authority he commands even the unclean spirits, and they obey him.
28 Und sein Ruf gieng alsbald aus überall hin in die ganze galiläische Umgegend.
And his fame went out straightway into the whole region of Galilee around.
29 Und alsbald giengen sie von der Synagoge aus in das Haus des Simon und Andreas mit Jakobus und Johannes.
And straightway going out of the synagogue, they came with James and John into the house of Simon and Andrew.
30 Die Schwiegermutter Simons aber lag am Fieber darnieder, und alsbald sagen sie ihm von ihr.
And the mother-in-law of Simon lay in a fever. And straightway they speak to him about her.
31 Und er trat hinzu, nahm sie bei der Hand und richtete sie auf, da verließ sie das Fieber und sie wartete ihnen auf.
And he went up to [her] and raised her up, having taken her by the hand, and straightway the fever left her, and she served them.
32 Da es aber Abend geworden, als die Sonne untergieng,
But evening being come, when the sun had gone down, they brought to him all that were suffering, and those possessed by demons;
33 brachten sie zu ihm alle, die ein Leiden hatten, und die dämonisch waren; und es war die ganze Stadt an der Thüre versammelt,
and the whole city was gathered together at the door.
34 und er heilte viele Leidende mit mancherlei Krankheiten, und trieb viele Dämonen aus, und ließ die Dämonen nicht davon reden, daß sie ihn kannten.
And he healed many suffering from various diseases; and he cast out many demons, and did not suffer the demons to speak because they knew him.
35 Und früh morgens noch im Dunkeln stand er auf, gieng hinaus, und zog fort an einen einsamen Ort, und daselbst betete er.
And rising in the morning long before day, he went out and went away into a desert place, and there prayed.
36 Und Simon und seine Genossen verfolgten ihn,
And Simon and those with him went after him:
37 und fanden ihn und sagen zu ihm: es sucht dich alles.
and having found him, they say to him, All seek thee.
38 Und er sagt zu ihnen: laßt uns anderwärts gehen, in die benachbarten Ortschaften, damit ich auch dort verkünde; denn dazu bin ich ausgegangen.
And he says to them, Let us go elsewhere into the neighbouring country towns, that I may preach there also, for for this purpose am I come forth.
39 Und er gieng und verkündete in ihren Synagogen in ganz Galiläa, und trieb die Dämonen aus.
And he was preaching in their synagogues in the whole of Galilee, and casting out demons.
40 Und es kommt ein Aussätziger zu ihm und bittet ihn: so du willst, kannst du mich reinigen.
And there comes to him a leper, beseeching him, and falling on his knees to him, and saying to him, If thou wilt thou canst cleanse me.
41 Und er hatte Mitleid, streckte seine Hand aus, rührte ihn an, und sagt zu ihm: ich will es, werde rein.
But Jesus, moved with compassion, having stretched out his hand, touched him, and says to him, I will, be thou cleansed.
42 Und alsbald wich der Aussatz von ihm, und er ward rein.
And as he spoke straightway the leprosy left him, and he was cleansed.
43 Und er fuhr ihn an, und trieb ihn alsbald hinaus
And having sharply charged him, he straightway sent him away,
44 und sagt zu ihm: siehe zu, daß du niemand etwas sagest; sondern gehe hin, zeige dich dem Priester, und opfere für deine Reinigung, was Moses verordnet hat, zum Zeugnis für sie.
and says to him, See thou say nothing to any one, but go, shew thyself to the priest, and offer for thy cleansing what Moses ordained, for a testimony to them.
45 Er aber gieng hinaus, und fieng an, es eifrig zu verkünden und die Sache ruchbar zu machen, so daß er nicht mehr öffentlich in eine Stadt gehen konnte, sondern draußen an einsamen Orten hielt er sich auf, und sie kamen zu ihm von überall her.
But he, having gone forth, began to proclaim [it] much, and to spread the matter abroad, so that he could no longer enter openly into the city, but was without in desert places, and they came to him from every side.
