Johannes 1
1 Im Anfang war das Wort und das Wort war bei Gott. Und das Wort war Gott,
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with YHWH, and the Word was YHWH.
2 solchergestalt war es im Anfang bei Gott.
The same was in the beginning with YHWH.
3 Alles ward durch dasselbe, und ohne dasselbe ward nichts, was geworden ist.
All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
4 In ihm war Leben, und das Leben war das Licht der Menschen:
In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
5 und das Licht scheint in der Finsternis, und die Finsternis hat es nicht ergriffen.
And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
6 Es trat ein Mensch auf, abgesandt von Gott, Johannes hieß er,
There was a man sent from YHWH, whose name was John.
7 dieser kam zum Zeugnis: um zu zeugen vom Licht, auf daß alle durch ihn glauben möchten.
The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.
8 Nicht war er das Licht, sondern zeugen sollte er vom Licht.
He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.
9 Das wahrhaftige Licht, welches jeden Menschen erleuchtet, war: der da kommen sollte in die Welt.
That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.
10 Er war in der Welt, und die Welt ist durch ihn geworden, und die Welt hat ihn nicht erkannt.
He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.
11 In sein Eigentum kam er, und die Seinen nahmen ihn nicht auf.
He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
12 So viele ihn aber annahmen, ihnen hat er die Macht verliehen, Gottes Kinder zu werden - als die an seinen Namen glauben -
But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of YHWH, even to them that believe on his name:
13 die nicht aus Blut und nicht aus Fleisches-, nicht aus Manneswillen, sondern aus Gott gezeugt sind.
Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of YHWH.
14 Ja, das Wort ward Fleisch und schlug seine Hütte auf unter uns, und wir schauten seine Herrlichkeit, eine Herrlichkeit als des einzigen Sohnes vom Vater, voll Gnade und Wahrheit -
And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, ) full of grace and truth.
15 Johannes zeugt von ihm und ruft also: dieser war es, von dem ich sagte: der nach mir kommt, ist vor mir da: weil er eher war, als ich -
John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me.
16 denn aus seiner Fülle haben wir alle empfangen, Gnade um Gnade;
And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.
17 denn das Gesetz ward durch Moses gegeben, die Gnade und die Wahrheit ist durch Jesus Christus gekommen.
For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Yahushua the Messiah.
18 Gott hat keiner je gesehen, der einzige Sohn, der an des Vaters Busen war, der hat ihn beschrieben.
No man hath seen the Father at any time; the only begotten Son, which was in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.
19 Und dies ist das Zeugnis des Johannes, als die Juden aus Jerusalem Priester und Leviten zu ihm absandten, ihn zu fragen: wer bist du? und er
And this is the record of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, Who art thou?
20 bekannte und leugnete nicht und bekannte: ich bin nicht der Christus.
And he confessed, and denied not; but confessed, I am not the Messiah.
21 Und sie fragten ihn: was dann? bist du Elias? Und er sagt: ich bin es nicht. Bist du der Prophet? und er antwortete: nein.
And they asked him, What then? Art thou EliYah? And he saith, I am not. Art thou that prophet? And he answered, No.
22 Da sagten sie zu ihm: wer bist du? daß wir doch Antwort bringen denen, die uns geschickt haben. Was sagst du von dir?
Then said they unto him, Who art thou? that we may give an answer to them that sent us. What sayest thou of thyself?
23 Sagte er: ich bin die Stimme dessen, der ruft in der Wüste: machet eben den Weg des Herrn, so wie der Prophet Jesaias gesagt hat.
He said, I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, Make straight the way of YHWH, as said the prophet Isaiah.
24 Und sie waren abgesandt von den Pharisäern her,
And they which were sent were of the Pharisees.
25 und fragten ihn und sagten zu ihm: was taufst du denn, wenn du nicht der Christus bist, und nicht Elias, und nicht der Prophet?
And they asked him, and said unto him, Why baptizest thou then, if thou be not the Messiah, nor EliYah, neither that prophet?
26 Antwortete ihnen Johannes also: ich taufe mit Wasser; mitten unter euch steht er, den ihr nicht kennt,
John answered them, saying, I baptize with water: but there standeth one among you, whom ye know not;
27 für den ich nicht wert bin ihm den Schuhriemen zu lösen.
He it is, who coming after me is preferred before me, whose shoe's latchet I am not worthy to unloose.
28 Dies geschah in Bethania jenseits des Jordan, wo Johannes war und taufte.
These things were done in Bethabara beyond Jordan, where John was baptizing.
29 Tags darauf sieht er Jesus gegen sich herkommen und spricht: siehe, das Lamm Gottes, das die Sünde der Welt wegnimmt.
The next day John seeth Yahushua coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of YHWH, which taketh away the sin of the world.
30 Dieser ist es, von dem ich sagte: nach mir kommt ein Mann, der vor mir da ist, weil er eher war als ich.
This is he of whom I said, After me cometh a man which is preferred before me: for he was before me.
31 Und ich kannte ihn nicht; aber damit er für Israel geoffenbart werde, darum kam ich mit Wasser taufend.
And I knew him not: but that he should be made manifest to Israel, therefore am I come baptizing with water.
32 Und Johannes zeugte also: ich habe den Geist geschaut herabfahrend wie eine Taube vom Himmel, und er ruhte auf ihm.
And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him.
33 Und ich kannte ihn nicht; aber der mich gesandt hat zu taufen mit Wasser der sprach zu mir: auf welchen du siehst den Geist herabfahren und auf ihm ruhen, der ist es, der mit heiligem Geist tauft.
And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Spirit.
34 Und ich habe es gesehen und bezeugt, daß dieser ist der Sohn Gottes.
And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of YHWH.
35 Tags darauf stand Johannes wieder da mit zwei seiner Jünger, und da Jesus daherkam,
Again the next day after John stood, and two of his disciples;
36 blickte er auf ihn und sagt: siehe, das Lamm Gottes.
And looking upon Yahushua as he walked, he saith, Behold the Lamb of YHWH!
37 Und die zwei Jünger hörten auf seine Rede und folgten Jesus.
And the two disciples heard him speak, and they followed Yahushua.
38 Jesus aber wandte sich um, und da er schaute wie sie nachfolgten, sagt er zu ihnen: was suchet ihr? Sie aber sagten zu ihm: Rabbi (das heißt übersetzt Lehrer), wo wohnst du? Sagt er zu ihnen: kommt, so werdet ihr es sehen.
Then Yahushua turned, and saw them following, and saith unto them, What seek ye? They said unto him, Rabbi, (which is to say, being interpreted, Master, ) where dwellest thou?
39 Da giengen sie, und sahen wo er wohnte, und weilten jenen Tag bei ihm; es war um die zehnte Stunde.
He saith unto them, Come and see. They came and saw where he dwelt, and abode with him that day: for it was about the tenth hour.
40 Andreas, der Bruder des Simon Petrus, war einer von den Zwei, die es von Johannes gehört hatten und ihm gefolgt waren.
One of the two which heard John speak, and followed him, was Andrew, Simon Kepha's brother.
41 Dieser trifft zuerst seinen Bruder Simon und sagt zu ihm: wir haben den Messias gefunden (das heißt übersetzt Christus).
He first findeth his own brother Simon, and saith unto him, We have found the Messiah.
42 Er führte ihn zu Jesus. Jesus blickte ihn an und sprach: du bist Simon, der Sohn Johannes', du wirst Kephas genannt werden (das wird übersetzt Petrus).
And he brought him to Yahushua. And when Yahushua beheld him, he said, Thou art Simon the son of Jona: thou shalt be called Cephas, which is by interpretation, A stone.
43 Tags darauf wollte er abreisen nach Galiläa, da trifft er Philippus. Und Jesus sagt zu ihm: folge mir.
The day following Yahushua would go forth into Galilee, and findeth Philip, and saith unto him, Follow me.
44 Philippus aber war von Bethsaida, aus der Stadt des Andreas und Petrus.
Now Philip was of Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and Kepha.
45 Philippus trifft den Nathanael und sagt zu ihm: wir haben den gefunden, von welchem Moses im Gesetze geschrieben hat und die Propheten: Jesus, Josephs Sohn, den von Nazaret.
Philip findeth Nathanael, and saith unto him, We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, did write, Yahushua of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.
46 Und Nathanael sagte zu ihm: aus Nazaret, kann da etwas Gutes her sein? Sagt Philippus zu ihm: komm und siehe.
And Nathanael said unto him, Can there any good thing come out of Nazareth? Philip saith unto him, Come and see.
47 Jesus sah den Nathanael zu sich kommen, und sagt über ihn: siehe wahrhaft ein Israelite, in dem ist kein Falsch.
Yahushua saw Nathanael coming to him, and saith of him, Behold an Israelite indeed, in whom is no guile!
48 Sagt Nathanael zu ihm: woher kennst du mich? Antwortete Jesus und sagte zu ihm: ehe dich Philippus rief, als du unter dem Feigenbaum warst, sah ich dich.
Nathanael saith unto him, Whence knowest thou me? Yahushua answered and said unto him, Before that Philip called thee, when thou wast under the fig tree, I saw thee.
49 Antwortete ihm Nathanael: Rabbi, du bist der Sohn Gottes, du bist König von Israel.
Nathanael answered and saith unto him, Rabbi, thou art the Son of YHWH; thou art the King of Israel.
50 Antwortete Jesus und sagte zu ihm: weil ich dir sagte, daß ich dich unter dem Feigenbaum sah, glaubst du? du wirst Größeres als dies sehen.
Yahushua answered and said unto him, Because I said unto thee, I saw thee under the fig tree, believest thou? thou shalt see greater things than these.
51 Und er sagt zu ihm: wahrlich, wahrlich, ich sage euch, ihr werdet den Himmel offen sehen, und die Engel Gottes hinaufsteigen und herabsteigen auf den Sohn des Menschen.
And he saith unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Hereafter ye shall see heaven open, and the angels of YHWH ascending and descending upon the Son of man.
