Job 27
1 Darauf fuhr Hiob also fort, seine Rede vorzutragen:
Also Joob addide, takynge his parable, and seide,
2 So wahr Gott lebt, der mir mein Recht entzogen, und der Allmächtige, der meine Seele betrübt hat -
God lyueth, that hath take awey my doom, and Almyyti God, that hath brouyt my soule to bitternesse.
3 denn noch ist mein Lebensodem ganz in mir, und Gottes Hauch in meiner Nase! -
For as long as breeth is in me, and the spirit of God is in my nose thirlis,
4 nein. meine Lippen reden kein Unrecht, und meine Zunge sinnt nicht auf Betrug!
my lippis schulen not speke wickidnesse, nether my tunge schal thenke a leesyng.
5 Fern sei es von mir, euch Recht zu geben; bis ich verscheide, lasse ich nicht von meiner Unschuld.
Fer be it fro me, that Y deme you iust; til Y faile, Y schal not go awei fro myn innocence.
6 An meiner Gerechtigkeit halte ich fest und lasse sie nicht; mein Gewissen schilt keinen meiner Tage!
Y schal not forsake my iustifiyng, which Y bigan to holde; for myn herte repreueth me not in al my lijf.
7 Als Schuldiger muß mein Feind erscheinen, und mein Widersacher als der Ungerechte.
As my wickid enemy doth; myn aduersarie is as wickid.
8 Denn welche Hoffnung hat der Ruchlose, wenn abschneidet, wenn herauszieht Gott seine Seele?
For what is the hope of an ypocrite, if he rauyschith gredili, and God delyuerith not his soule?
9 Wird Gott sein Geschrei erhören, wenn ihn die Bedrängnis überfällt?
Whether God schal here the cry of hym, whanne angwisch schal come on hym?
10 Oder kann er seine Wonne am Allmächtigen haben, Gott anrufen zu jeder Zeit?
ether whether he may delite in Almyyti God, and inwardli clepe God in al tyme?
11 Ich will euch über Gottes Hand belehren, was der Allmächtige im Sinne hat, nicht verhehlen.
Y schal teche you bi the hond of God, what thingis Almyyti God hath; and Y schal not hide.
12 Ihr alle habt es ja selbst gesehen, warum wollt ihr euch doch so eitlem Wahn ergeben?
Lo! alle ye knowen, and what speken ye veyn thingis with out cause?
13 Das ist des bösen Menschen Los bei Gott, und das Erbe der Tyrannen, das sie vom Allmächtigen empfangen:
This is the part of a wickid man anentis God, and the eritage of violent men, ether rauenours, whiche thei schulen take of Almyyti God.
14 Sind seiner Kinder viel, so ist's fürs Schwert, und seine Sprößlinge haben nicht satt Brot.
If hise children ben multiplied, thei schulen be slayn in swerd; and hise sones sones schulen not be fillid with breed.
15 Wer von den Seinen übrig blieb, wird von der Pest begraben, und seine Witwen halten nicht die Totenklage.
Thei, that ben residue of hym, schulen be biried in perischyng; and the widewis of hym schulen not wepe.
16 Wenn er Silber aufhäuft wie Sand und Kleider wie Lehm aufspeichert -
If he gaderith togidere siluer as erthe, and makith redi clothis as cley;
17 er speichert auf, aber der Gerechte kleidet sich damit, und das Silber teilt der Fromme.
sotheli he made redi, but a iust man schal be clothid in tho, and an innocent man schal departe the siluer.
18 Der Spinne gleich hat er sein Haus gebaut und gleich der Hütte, die ein Hüter machte.
As a mouyte he hath bildid his hous, and as a kepere he made a schadewyng place.
19 Reich legte er sich hin - er thut's nicht wieder; er öffnet seine Augen, da ist es aus mit ihm.
A riche man, whanne he schal die, schal bere no thing with hym; he schal opene hise iyen, and he schal fynde no thing.
20 Es ereilen ihn Gewässern gleich die Schrecken, des Nachts entführt ihn der Sturmwind.
Pouert as water schal take hym; and tempeste schal oppresse hym in the nyyt.
21 Der Ost hebt ihn empor, daß er dahinfährt, und stürmt ihn fort von seiner Stätte.
Brennynge wynd schal take hym, and schal do awei; and as a whirlewynd it schal rauysche hym fro his place.
22 Erbarmungslos schleudert er auf ihn, vor seiner Hand muß er entfliehn, entfliehn -
He schal sende out turmentis on hym, and schal not spare; he fleynge schal `fle fro his hond.
23 da klatscht man über ihn in die Hände und zischt ihn aus von seiner Wohnstatt her.
He schal streyne hise hondis on him, and he schal hisse on hym, and schal biholde his place.
