Hebraeer 1
1 Nachdem Gott vormals vielfach und vielartig zu den Vätern geredet hatte durch die Propheten,
In many parts and many ways, God, having spoken long ago to the fathers by the prophets,
2 hat er aufs Ende dieser Tage zu uns geredet durch den Sohn, welchen er gesetzt hat zum Erben von allem, durch welchen er auch die Weltzeiten gemacht hat, (aiōn g165)
in these last days speaks to us in [His] Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom He also made the ages; (aiōn g165)
3 welcher als der Abglanz seiner Herrlichkeit, und Abdruck seines Wesens, und der Träger aller Dinge mit dem Worte seiner Kraft, nachdem er die Reinigung der Sünden bewirkt hat, sich gesetzt hat zur Rechten der Majestät in der Höhe,
who being the brightness of the glory, and the impress of His subsistence, bearing up also all things by the saying of His might—having made a cleansing of our sins through Himself, sat down at the right hand of the Greatness in the highest,
4 und um so viel mächtiger als die Engel geworden ist, als der Name, den er geerbt, sie überragt.
having become so much better than the messengers, as He inherited a more excellent name than them.
5 Denn zu welchem von den Engeln hat er je gesagt: Du bist mein Sohn, heute habe ich dich gezeugt? Und wiederum: Ich werde ihm Vater sein, und er wird mir Sohn sein.
For to which of the messengers did He ever say, “You are My Son—today I have begotten You?” And again, “I will be to Him for a Father, and He will be to Me for a Son?”
6 Und wiederum, da er den Erstgeborenen auf den Erdkreis eingeführt, da heißt es: Und alle Engel Gottes sollen vor ihm niederfallen.
And when again He may bring the firstborn into the world, He says, “And let them worship Him—all messengers of God”;
7 Und zu den Engeln heißt es wohl: Der seine Engel zu Winden macht, und seine Diener zur Feuerflamme.
and to the messengers, indeed, He says, “The [One] who is making His messengers spirits, and His ministers a flame of fire”;
8 Zu dem Sohne aber: Dein Thron, o Gott, ist für alle Ewigkeit, und der Stab der Rechtschaffenheit ist deines Reiches Stab. (aiōn g165)
but to the Son: “Your throne, O God, [is] throughout the age of the age; The scepter of righteousness [is the] scepter of Your kingdom; (aiōn g165)
9 Du hast Gerechtigkeit geliebt und den Frevel gehaßt; darum hat dich Gott gesalbt, dein Gott, mit Freudenöl vor deinen Genossen.
You loved righteousness, and hated lawlessness; Because of this He anointed You—God, Your God—With oil of gladness above Your partners”;
10 Und: Du, Herr, hast zu Anfang die Erde gegründet, und deiner Hände Werk sind die Himmel. Sie werden vergehen, du aber bleibst.
and, “You, LORD, founded the earth at the beginning, And the heavens are a work of Your hands.
11 Sie werden veralten insgesamt wie ein Gewand,
These will perish, but You remain, And all will become old as a garment,
12 du wirst sie wie einen Mantel aufrollen, und sie werden verwandelt sein; du aber bist derselbe, und deine Jahre lassen nicht nach.
And You will roll them together as a mantle, and they will be changed, But You are the same, and Your years will not fail.”
13 Zu welchem von den Engeln aber hat er je gesagt: Setze dich zu meiner Rechten, bis ich deine Feinde lege unter deine Füße?
And to which of the messengers did He ever say, “Sit at My right hand, Until I may make Your enemies Your footstool?”
14 Sind sie nicht alle dienstbare Geister, ausgesandt zur Hilfe um derentwillen, die das Heil sollen ererben?
Are they not all spirits of service—being sent forth for ministry because of those about to inherit salvation?
