Hesekiel 47
1 Und er führte mich zurück an den Eingang des Tempels. Da gewahrte ich, daß unter der Schwelle des Hauses Wasser hervorkam, nach Osten zu; denn die vorderseite des Tempels ging nach Osten. Und das wasser floß hinab unterhalb der südlichen Seitenwand des Tempels, südlich vom Altar.
And he brought me back again unto the door of the house: and, behold, water was issuing out from under the threshold of the house eastward; for the front of the house stood toward the east; and the water came down from under [the threshold], from the right side of the house, to the south of the altar.
2 Sodann führte er mich durch das Nordthor hinaus und geleitete mich den Weg außen herum zum Außenthore, das in der Richtung nach Osten gewendet ist; da gewahrte ich, daß aus der südlichen Seitenwand Wasser hervortröpfelte.
Then did he bring me out by the way of the gate northwards and led me about the way without unto the outer gate by the way that looked eastward: and, behold, the water was running on the right side.
3 Indem nun der Mann, mit einer Meßschnur in der Hand, nach Osten zu hinausging, maß er tausend Ellen ab. Sodann führte er mich durch das Wasser hindurch; dieses ging bis an die Knöchel.
When the man went forth eastward, having the measuring-line in his hand, he measured a thousand cubits, and he led me through the water, the water reaching to the ankles.
4 Hierauf maß er wieder tausend Ellen und führte mich durchs Wasser; dieses ging jetzt bis an die Kniee. Sodann maß er nochmals tausend Ellen und führte mich durchs Wasser; dieses ging nun bis an die Hüften.
Again he measured a thousand [cubits], and led me through the water, the water reaching to the knees. Again he measured a thousand [cubits], and led me through, the water reaching to the loins.
5 Und er maß abermals tausend Ellen; da wars ein Fluß geworden, den ich nicht durchschreiten konnte. Denn das Wasser war zu hoch - Wasser, daß man durchschwimmen mußte, - ein Fluß, den man nicht mehr durchschreiten konnte.
And he measured again a thousand [cubits], it being a stream that I could not wade through; for the water was increased, being water fit to swim in, a stream that could not be waded through.
6 Und er sprach zu mir: Hast du das wohl gesehen, Menschensohn? Und er führte mich und brachte mich zurück an den Rand des Flusses.
And he said unto me, Son of man, hast thou seen this: Then did he lead me, and caused me to return to the bank of the stream.
7 Als ich nun zurückkam, da gewahrte ich am Rande des Flusses sehr viele Bäume auf beiden Seiten.
Now when I returned, behold, there were at the banks of the stream very many trees, on the one side and on the other.
8 Da sprach er zu mir: Dieses Wasser geht hinaus in den östlichen Bezirk und fließt hinab in die Jordansteppe, und wenn es ins tote Meer ins salzige Wasser kommt, so werden die Wasser dort gesund.
Then said he unto me, These waters issue out toward the eastern district, and go down into the plain, and fall into the sea, [the waters] being carried forth into the sea, so that the waters shall be healed.
9 Und alle lebendigen Wesen, was nur da wimmelt, wohin irgend seine Flut kommt, das wird leben, und der Fischreichtum wird sehr groß sein; denn wenn dieses Wasser dorthin gekommen sein wird, wird das Wasser des toten Meers gesund werden, und alles, zu dem der Fluß kommt, wird leben.
And it shall come to pass, that every thing that liveth, which moveth, whithersoever the double-stream shall come, shall live: and the fish shall be [therein] in great abundance; for when this water shall have come thither, [the waters of the sea] shall be healed, and every thing shall live whither the stream cometh.
10 Und es werden Fischer an ihm stehen von En-Gedi bis En-Eglaim; ein Ort, wo man Netze ausspannt, wird das Wasser sein. Sein Fischreichtum wird sein, wie der des großen Meers, überaus groß.
And it shall come to pass, that the fishers shall stand by it; from 'En-gedi even unto 'En-'eglayim, there shall be places for the spreading out of nets: after their various kinds shall the fish thereof be, like the fish of the great sea, exceedingly many.
11 Aber seine Lachen und Tümpel werden nicht gesund; sie sind zur Salzgewinnung bestimmt.
But its swamps and its lagoons shall not be healed, for [the production of] salt are they destined.
12 An dem Flusse aber sollen zu beiden Seiten seines Ufers allerlei Bäume mit genießbaren Früchten wachsen; deren Laub soll nicht welken und deren Früchte sollen kein Ende nehmen. Alle Monate sollen sie frische Früchte tragen; denn ihr Wasser geht vom Heiligtum aus. Und ihre Früchte werden als Speise dienen und ihr Laub als Heilmittel.
And by the stream upon its banks, on this side and on that side, shall grow up all kinds of trees for food, the leaves of which shall not fade, and the fruit of which shall not come to an end, every month shall they bring forth new ripe fruit; because its water is that which issueth out of the sanctuary; and their fruit shall serve for food, and their leaves for remedies.
13 So spricht der Herr Jahwe: Dies ist die Grenze, innerhalb derer ihr euch nach den zwölf Stämmen Israels in das Land teilen sollt.
Thus hath said the Lord Eternal, This shall be the boundary, whereby ye shall divide out the land unto the twelve tribes of Israel: Joseph shall have two portions.
14 Und zwar sollt ihr es einer wie der andere zum Erbbesitz erhalten, weil ich dereinst geschworen habe, es euren Vätern zu verleihen, und so soll euch nun dieses Land als Erbbesitz zufallen.
And ye shall inherit it, every one like the other, [the land] concerning which I lifted up my hand to give it unto your fathers: and this land shall fall unto you for an inheritance.
15 Und dies sei die Grenze des Landes auf der Nordseite: Vom großen Meer in der Richtung nach Hethlon bis wo es nach
And this shall be the boundary of the land: On the north side, from the great sea, the road to Chethlon, as far as to Zedad;
16 Hamath hineingeht, Berotha, Sibraim, welches zwischen dem Gebiete von Damaskus und dem von Hamath liegt, bis Hazar-Enon, das an der Grenze von Hauran liegt.
Chamath, Berothah, Sibrayim, which is between the boundary of Damascus and the boundary of Chamath; Chazar-hattichon, which is by the boundary of Chavran.
17 Es soll also die Grenze laufen vom Meere bis Hazar-Enon, so daß sich das Gebiet von Damaskus weiter nach Norden zu erstreckt; das ist die Nordseite.
And the boundary shall be from the sea to Chazar-'enon, the boundary of Damascus, and the northern part on the north, and the boundary of Chamath. And this is the north side.
18 Und die Ostseite: Von Hazar-Enon an, das zwischen Hauran und Damaskus liegt, bildet zwischen Gilead und dem Land Israel der Jordan die Grenze bis zum östlichen Meere, bis nach Thamar hin; das ist die Ostseite.
And the east side shall ye measure between Chavran and Damascus [on the one side], and between Gil'ad and the land of Israel [on the other side] by the Jordan, from the [north] boundary unto the east sea. And this is the east side.
19 Und die Südseite gegen Mittag: Von Thamar bis Me-Meriboth bei Kades nach dem Bach Ägyptens, und weiter bis zum großen Meere; das ist die Südseite nach Mittag zu.
And the south side; on the south, from Thamar even to the waters of contention at Kadesh, toward the brook [flowing] into the Great Sea. And this is the south side on the south.
20 Und die Westseite: Das große Meer bildet die Grenze bis gerade gegenüber von da, wo es nach Hamath hineingeht; das ist die Westseite.
And the west side shall be the great sea from the [southern] boundary, as far as straight up to Chamath. This is the west side.
21 Und ihr sollt dieses Land unter euch teilen nach den Stämmen Israels.
And ye shall divide this land among yourselves according to the tribes of Israel.
22 Und zwar sollt ihr es unter euch und die Fremdlinge, die unter euch weilen, die Söhne unter euch erzeugt haben, als Erbbesitz verlosen. Sie sollen euch gelten, wie die eingeborenen Israeliten; mit euch sollen sie inmitten der Stämme Israels Erbbesitz erlosen.
And it shall come to pass, that ye shall divide it by lot for an inheritance among yourselves, and to the strangers that sojourn in the midst of you, who shall have begotten children in the midst of you; and they shall be unto you as the native born among the children of Israel: with you shall they obtain an inheritance in the midst of the tribes of Israel.
23 In dem Stamme, bei welchem der Fremdling weilt, da sollt ihr ihm seinen Erbbesitz anweisen, ist der Spruch des Herrn Jahwe.
And it shall come to pass that in whatever tribe the stranger sojourneth, there shall ye give him his inheritance, saith the Lord Eternal.
