Hesekiel 28
1 Und es erging das Wort Jahwes an mich folgendermaßen:
The word of the Lord came againe vnto me, saying,
2 Menschensohn, sprich zum Fürsten von Tyrus: So spricht der Herr Jahwe: Weil hoch hinaus wollte dein Sinn, daß du sprachst: “Ein Gott bin ich, einen Göttersitz bewohne ich inmitten des Meers!” während du doch ein Mensch und kein Gott bist, dich aber dennoch einen Gott dünktest, -
Sonne of man, say vnto the prince of Tyrus, Thus saieth the Lord God, Because thine heart is exalted, and thou hast said, I am a God, I sit in the seat of God in ye mids of the sea, yet thou art but a man and not God, and though thou didest thinke in thine heart, that thou wast equall with God,
3 ja, du warst weiser als Daniel, nichts Heimliches war dir zu dunkel.
Behold, thou art wiser then Daniel: there is no secrete, that they can hide from thee.
4 Durch deine Weisheit und Einsicht erwarbst du dir Reichtum und schafftest Gold und Silber in deine Vorratshäuser.
With thy wisedome and thine vnderstanding thou hast gotten thee riches, and hast gotten golde and siluer into thy treasures.
5 Durch die Fülle deiner Weisheit, durch deinen Handelsbetrieb mehrtest du deinen Reichtum, und dein Sinn ging hoch hinaus wegen deines Reichtums; -
By thy great wisedome and by thine occupying hast thou increased thy riches, and thine heart is lifted vp because of thy riches.
6 darum spricht der Herr Jahwe also: Weil du dich einen Gott dünkst,
Therefore thus sayeth the Lord God, Because thou didest thinke in thine heart, that thou wast equall with God,
7 deshalb, fürwahr, will ich Fremde über dich kommen lassen, grausamste Völker; die sollen ihre Schwerter ziehen wider deine schöne Weisheit und sollen deinen Glanz entweihen.
Behold, therefore I wil bring strangers vpon thee, euen the terrible nations: and they shall drawe their swordes against the beautie of thy wisedome, and they shall defile thy brightnes.
8 In die Grube werden sie dich hinabstoßen und du wirst den Tod eines Erschlagenen sterben inmitten des Meers.
They shall cast thee downe to the pit, and thou shalt die the death of them, that are slaine in the middes of the sea.
9 Wirst du dann auch sprechen: “Ein Gott bin ich!” angesichts deines Würgers, während du doch ein Mensch und kein Gott bist in der Gewalt deines Mörders?
Wilt thou say then before him, that slayeth thee, I am a god? but thou shalt be a man, and no God, in the hands of him that slayeth thee.
10 Den Tod Unbeschnittener wirst du sterben durch die Hand Fremder, denn ich habe es geredet, ist der Spruch des Herrn Jahwe.
Thou shalt die the death of the vncircumcised by the hands of stragers: for I haue spoken it, sayth the Lord God.
11 Und es erging das Wort Jahwes an mich folgendermaßen:
Moreouer the word of the Lord came vnto me, saying,
12 Menschensohn, stimme ein Klagelied an über den König von Tyrus und sprich zu ihm: So spricht der Herr Jahwe: du warst ein Gebilde eines Siegelrings und die vollendete Schönheit.
Sonne of man, take vp a lamentation vpon the King of Tyrus, and say vnto him, Thus sayeth the Lord God, Thou sealest vp the summe, and art full of wisedome and perfite in beautie.
13 In Eden, dem Gottesgarten, warst du; lauter Edelsteine waren deine Decke: Carneol, Topas, Jaspis, Chrysolit, Schoham, Onyx, Saphir, Karfunkel, Smaragd, und aus Gold waren deine Einfassungen und Verzierungen gearbeitet; am Tage, da du geschaffen wardst, wurden sie bereitet.
Thou hast ben in Eden the garden of God: euery precious stone was in thy garment, the rubie, the topaze and the diamonde, the chrysolite, the onix, and the iasper, the saphir, emeraude, and the carbuncle and golde: the woorkemanship of thy timbrels, and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.
14 Zum schirmenden Kerub hatte ich dich bestellt; auf dem heiligen Götterberge warst du, mitten unter feurigen Steinen wandeltest du umher.
Thou art the anointed Cherub, that couereth, and I haue set thee in honour: thou wast vpon the holy mountaine of God: thou hast walked in the middes of the stones of fire.
15 Ohne Fehl warst du in deinem Wandel von dem Tag an, da du geschaffen wardst, bis Verfehlung an dir erfunden wurde.
Thou wast perfite in thy wayes from the day that thou wast created, till iniquitie was found in thee.
16 Vermöge deines gewaltigen Handelsverkehrs erfülltes du dein Inneres mit Erpressung und vergingst dich; da entweihte und verstieß ich dich vom Götterberg und vertilgte dich, du schirmender Kerub, von den feurigen Steinen hinweg.
By the multitude of thy marchandise, they haue filled the middes of thee with crueltie, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as prophane out of the mountaine of God: and I will destroy thee, O couering Cherub from the mids of the stones of fire.
17 Hochfahrend war dein Sinn wegen deiner Schönheit; du machtest deine Weisheit zunichte ob deines Glanzes. Auf die Erde stürzte ich dich, gab dich Königen preis, daß sie ihre Augenweide an dir hätten.
Thine heart was lifted vp because of thy beautie, and thou hast corrupted thy wisedome by reason of thy brightnes: I wil cast thee to ye grounde: I will lay thee before Kinges that they may beholde thee.
18 Ob der Menge deiner Verschuldungen, durch deinen unredlichen Handel entweihtest du deine Heiligtümer.
Thou hast defiled thy sanctification by the multitude of thine iniquities, and by the iniquitie of thy marchandise: therefore wil I bring forth a fire from the mids of thee, which shall deuoure thee: and I wil bring thee to ashes vpon the earth, in the sight of all them that beholde thee.
19 Alle, die dich kannten unter den Völkern, waren entsetzt über dich; ein jähes Ende hast du genommen und bist dahin für immer.
All they that knowe thee among the people, shalbe astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terrour, and neuer shalt thou be any more.
20 Und es erging das Wort Jahwes an mich folgendermaßen:
Againe, the worde of the Lord came vnto me, saying,
21 Menschensohn, richte dein Antlitz gegen Sidon, weissage wider es
Sonne of man, set thy face against Zidon, and prophesie against it,
22 und sprich: So spricht der Herr Jahwe: Fürwahr, ich will an dich, Sidon, und will mich inmitten deiner verherrlichen, damit sie erkennen, daß ich Jahwe bin, wenn ich in ihr Gerichte vollstrecke und mich an ihr heilig erweise.
And say, Thus saith the Lord God, Behold, I come against thee, O Zidon, and I will be glorified in the mids of thee: and they shall know that I am the Lord, when I shall haue executed iudgements in her, and shalbe sanctified in her.
23 Und ich werde Pest in sie senden und Blutvergießen in ihre Straßen, und es sollen Erschlagene in ihrer Mitte dahinsinken durch das Schwert, das ringsum wider sie tobt, damit sie erkennen, daß ich Jahwe bin.
For I wil send into her pestilence, and blood into her streetes, and the slaine shall fall in the middes of her: the enemie shall come against her with the sword on euery side, and they shall know that I am the Lord.
24 Für das Haus Israel aber wird es fortan keinen quälenden Dorn oder schmerzenden Stachel mehr geben unter allen, die rings um sie her sind, die sie verächtlich behandelten, damit sie erkennen, daß ich der Herr Jahwe bin.
And they shalbe no more a pricking thorne vnto the house of Israel, nor any grieuous thorne of all that are round about them, and despised them, and they shall knowe that I am the Lord God.
25 So spricht der Herr Jahwe: Wenn ich das Haus Israel aus den Völkern, unter die sie zerstreut sind, sammle, dann will ich mich an ihnen heilig erweisen vor den Augen der Völker, und sie sollen wohnen in ihrem Lande, das ich meinem Knechte Jakob verliehen habe.
Thus saith the Lord God, When I shall haue gathered the house of Israel from the people where they are scattered, and shalbe sanctified in them in the sight of the heathen, then shall they dwel in the land, that I haue giuen to my seruant Iaakob.
26 Und sie werden sicher darin wohnen und werden Häuser bauen und Weinberge anpflanzen und werden sicher wohnen, während ich Gerichte vollstrecke an allen, die sie verächtlich behandelt haben, rings um sie her, damit sie erkennen, daß ich, Jahwe, ihr Gott bin.
And they shall dwell safely therein, and shall builde houses, and plant vineyards: yea, they shall dwell safely, when I haue executed iudgements vpon al round about them that despise them, and they shall knowe that I am the Lord their God.
