Daniel 12
1 Zu jener Zeit aber wird sich Michael, der große Engelfürst, der deine Volksgenossen schützt, erheben, und es wird eine Zeit der Bedrängnis sein, wie es bis auf jene Zeit keine gegeben hat, seitdem Völker bestehen. Zu jener Zeit werden von deinem Volk alle die gerettet werden, die sich im Buche aufgeschrieben finden.
And at that time Michael the great prince shall stand up, that stands over the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of tribulation, such tribulation as has not been from the time that there was a nation on the earth until that time: at that time thy people shall be delivered, [even] every one that is written in the book.
2 Und viele von denen, die im Erdenstaube schlafen, werden erwachen, die einen zu ewigen Leben, die andern zur Schmach und zu ewigem Abscheu.
And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to reproach and everlasting shame.
3 Die Weisen aber werden leuchten wie der Glanz der Himmelsveste und die, welche viele zur Gerechtigkeit geführt haben, wie die Sterne auf immer und ewig.
And the wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament, and [some] of the many righteous as the stars for ever and ever.
4 Du aber, Daniel, halte die Worte geheim und versiegle das Buch auf die Endzeit. Viele werden es durchforschen, und die Erkenntnis sich mehren.
And thou, Daniel, close the words, and seal the book to the time of the end; until many are taught, and knowledge is increased.
5 Ich aber, Daniel, gewahrte, wie noch zwei andere Engel dastanden, einer am diesseitigen Ufer des Flusses, der andere am jenseitigen Ufer des Flusses.
And I Daniel saw, and, behold, two others stood, one on one side of the bank of the river, and the other on the other side of the bank of the river.
6 Einer von diesen sprach zu dem Manne, der in leinene Gewänder gekleidet war, und der sich oben über dem Wasser des Stroms befand: Bis wann verzieht sich das Ende dieser wunderbaren Dinge?
And [one] said to the man clothed in linen, who was over the water of the river, When [will be] the end of the wonders which thou hast mentioned?
7 Da hörte ich den in leinene Gewänder gekleideten Mann, der sich oben über dem Wasser des Stromes befand, sagen - dabei erhob er seine rechte und seine linke Hand gen Himmel und schwur bei dem, der ewig lebt -: Es währt noch eine Zeit, zwei Zeiten und eine halbe Zeit; wenn die Macht des Zerstörers des heiligen Volks zu Ende ist, wird sich dieses alles vollenden!
And I heard the man clothed in linen, who was over the water of the river, and he lifted up his right hand and his left hand to heaven, and sware by him that lives for ever, that [it should be] for a time of times and half a time: when the dispersion is ended they shall know all these things.
8 Ich hörte dies, aber ich verstand es nicht und sagte darum: O Herr! Was wird das Ende von alledem sein?
And I heard, but I understood not: and I said, O Lord, what [will be] the end of these things?
9 Er antwortete: Geh, Daniel! denn bis zur Endzeit bleiben die Worte geheim und versiegelt.
And he said, Go, Daniel: for the words are closed and sealed up to the time of the end.
10 Viele werden gesichtet, gereinigt und geläutert werden, die Gottlosen aber gottlos handeln, und alle Gottlosen ohne Einsicht bleiben; aber die Weisen werden es verstehen.
Many must be tested, and thoroughly whitened, and tried with fire, and sanctified; but the transgressors shall transgress: and none of the transgressors shall understand; but the wise shall understand.
11 Und von der Zeit, da das tägliche Brandopfer aufgehoben werden wird, um dafür das die heilige Stätte verwüstende Scheusal aufzustellen, sind es 1290 Tage.
And from the time of the removal of the perpetual sacrifice, when the abomination of desolation shall be set up, [there shall be] a thousand two hundred and ninety days.
12 Wohl dem, der ausharrt und 1335 Tage erlebt!
Blessed is he that waits, and comes to the thousand three hundred and thirty-five days.
13 Du aber gehe hin, dem Ende entgegen; du sollst ruhen und dann auferstehen, um dein Los zu empfangen am Ende der Tage.
But go thou, and rest; for [there are] yet days and seasons to the fulfilment of the end; and thou shalt stand in thy lot at the end of the days.
