Amos 8
1 Folgendes ließ mich der Herr Jahwe in einem Gesichte schauen: Da war ein Korb mit Herbstfrüchten.
Thus he showed me [the] Lord Yahweh and there! a basket of summer fruit.
2 Da fragte er mich: Was schaust du, Amos? Ich antwortete: Einen Korb mit Herbstfrüchten! Da sprach Jahwe zu mir: Es kommt der Herbst über mein Volk Israel; ich will ihm nicht noch einmal vergeben!
And he said what? [are] you seeing O Amos and I said a basket of summer fruit and he said Yahweh to me it has come the end to people my Israel not I will repeat again to pass by it.
3 Und heulen sollen jenes Tags die Sängerinnen in den Palästen, ist der Spruch des Herrn Jahwe. Zahlreich sind die Leichen! Überall wirft man sie hin! Still!
And they will wail songs of [the] temple on the day that [the] utterance of [the] Lord Yahweh many the corpse[s] in every place someone will throw hush!
4 Hört dieses, die ihr den Dürftigen nachstellt und die Notleidenden im Lande zu Grunde richtet,
Hear this O those [who] trample on [the] needy and to put an end to ([the] afflicted [people] of *Q(K)*) [the] land.
5 indem ihr denkt: Wann geht der Neumond vorüber, daß wir Getreide verhandeln können, und wann der Sabbat, daß wir Korn aufthun, daß wir das Epha verkleinern, das Gewicht vergrößern und betrügerisch die Wage fälschen,
Saying when? will it pass the new moon so we may sell grain grain and the sabbath so we may open grain to make small an ephah and to make great a shekel and to falsify balances of deceit.
6 daß wir für Geld die Geringen kaufen und die Dürftigen um eines Paars Schuhe willen und den Abfall vom Korn verhandeln?
To buy for silver poor [people] and [the] needy for sake of a pair of sandals and refuse of grain we will sell grain.
7 Jahwe hat bei dem, der der Ruhm Jakobs ist, geschworen: fürwahr, niemals will ich irgend eine ihrer Handlungen vergessen!
He has sworn Yahweh by [the] pride of Jacob if I will forget to perpetuity all deeds their.
8 Soll deshalb nicht die Erde erzittern und, wer irgend sie bewohnt, in Trauer geraten, daß sie überall sich hebt wie der Nil und wieder sinkt wie der Nil in Ägypten?
¿ On this not will it tremble the land and he will mourn every [one who] dwells in it and it will rise like the light all of it and it will be tossed (and it will sink *Q(K)*) like [the] River of Egypt.
9 An jenem Tag, ist der Spruch des Herrn Jahwe, will ich die Sonne am Mittag untergehen lassen und auf die Erde am hellen Tage Finsternis senden.
And it will be - on the day that [the] utterance of [the] Lord Yahweh and I will cause to go the sun at noon and I will make dark the earth in a day of light.
10 Ich will eure Feste in Trauer verwandeln und alle eure Lieder in Totenklage, über alle Hüften das Trauergewand bringen und auf jedes Haupt die Glatze. Ich lasse es hergehen, wie bei der Trauer um den einzigen Sohn, und lasse es enden, wie wenn man einen bitteren Tag erlebt.
And I will turn feasts your into mourning and all songs your into lamentation and I will bring up on all loins sackcloth and on every head baldness and I will make it like [the] mourning of an only [son] and end its [will be] like a day bitter.
11 Fürwahr, es sollen Tage kommen, ist der Spruch des Herrn Jahwe, da will ich einen Hunger in das Land senden, nicht Hunger nach Brot und nicht Durst nach Wasser, sondern einen Hunger, die Worte Jahwes zu hören,
Here! - days [are] coming [the] utterance of [the] Lord Yahweh and I will send a famine in the land not a famine for bread and not a thirst for water that except for hearing [the] words of Yahweh.
12 daß sie von einem Meere zum andern wanken und von Norden nach Osten umherschweifen sollen, um das Wort Jahwes zu suchen. Aber sie sollen keines finden!
And people will stagger from sea to sea and from [the] north and to [the] east they will rove about to seek [the] word of Yahweh and not they will find [it].
13 An jenem Tage werden die schönen Jungfrauen und die kriegstüchtigen Männer vor Durst in Ohnmacht sinken!
In the day that they will become faint the virgins beautiful and the young men by thirst.
14 Sie, die bei der Schuld Samarias schwören und sprechen: “Sowahr dein Gott lebt, Dan!” und “sowahr dein Gott lebt, o Beerseba!” - sie werden fallen und nicht wieder aufstehen.
Those [who] swear by [the] guilt of Samaria and they will say [by] [the] life of gods your O Dan and [by] [the] life of [the] way of Beer Sheba and they will fall and not they will rise again.
