2 Timotheus 3
1 Das aber wisse, daß in den letzten Tagen harte Zeiten bevorstehen;
But know this, that in the last days hard times will come;
2 da werden die Leute sein selbstsüchtig, geldgierig, Großthuer, Uebermütige, Lästerer, den Eltern ungehorsam, undankbar, gottlos,
and men will be lovers of themselves, and lovers of money, boastful, lofty, blasphemous, to their men not obedient, deniers of grace, impious, calumniators,
3 lieblos, treulos, verleumderisch, unmäßig, unfreundich, ohne Herz für das Gute,
subjected to lust, brutal, haters of the good,
4 verräterisch, leichtsinnig, aufgeblasen, die Lust liebend mehr als Gott,
traitors, impetuous, puffed up, lovers of lusts rather than the love of Aloha;
5 mit dem Ansehen der Gottseligkeit, aber ohne Spur ihrer Kraft; diese sollst du meiden.
having a form of the worship of Aloha, but from the power of Aloha afar off: (them) who are such put from thee.
6 Dazu gehören, die sich in die Häuser schleichen und nehmen Weiber gefangen, welche mit Sünden beschwert, von allerlei Begierden umgetrieben,
For of them are they who creep into houses, and captivate women who are overladen with sins, and led away by divers lusts;
7 allezeit lernen wollen, und niemals zur Erkenntnis der Wahrheit kommen können.
who, in all time learning, never to the knowledge of the truth are able to come.
8 Auf die Art, wie Jannes und Jambres gegen Moses aufstanden, so stehen auch diese auf gegen die Wahrheit: Leute mit zerrüttetem Verstand, ohne Bewährung im Glauben.
But as Yonis and Yanbris stood against Musha, so also these stand against the truth: men whose understanding is corrupted, and reprobate from the faith.
9 Aber sie werden es nicht weit bringen; ihr Unverstand ist für jedermann am Tage, wie es auch bei jenen kam.
But they shall not come further, for their folly is known to all men, as also of them it is known.
10 Du aber hast dich angeschlossen an meine Lehre, die Führung, den Vorsatz, den Glauben, die Langmut, die Liebe, die Geduld,
BUT thou hast followed my doctrine and my manners, and my purpose, and my faith, and my prolongedness of mind, and my charity, and my patience,
11 die Verfolgungen, die Leiden, wie sie mich trafen in Antiochia, Ikonium und Lystra; solcherlei Verfolgungen habe ich bestanden und aus allen hat der Herr mich errettet.
and my persecution, and my sufferings. And thou knowest what things I endured in Antioch, and in Ikonion, and in Lystra, what persecution I endured; and out of all these my Lord delivered me.
12 Und alle die sich entschließen fromm zu leben in Christus Jesus, werden Verfolgung leiden.
But all they who will in the fear of Aloha to live in Jeshu Meshiha, are persecuted.
13 Schlechte Menschen und Gaukler aber werden ins Verderben eilen, andere betrügend und selbst betrogen.
But wicked men and seducers add to their wickedness, deceiving, and being deceived.
14 Du aber bleibe in dem, was du gelernt und was dir beglaubigt ist; du weißt, bei wem du es gelernt hast,
But abide thou in those things that thou hast learned, and in which thou art confirmed; for thou knowest from whom thou hast learned:
15 und wie du von Kind an die heilige Wissenschaft kennst, die dich klug machen kann, zum Heile durch den Glauben an Christus Jesus.
and that from thy childhood thou hast learned the holy writings, which are able to make thee wise to salvation, through faith which is in Jeshu Meshiha.
16 Jede Schrift ist von Gott eingegeben und nützlich zur Lehre, zur Ueberweisung und Zurechtweisung und zur Zucht in der Gerechtigkeit,
FOR all scripture which from the Spirit is written, is profitable for doctrine, and for rebuke, and for correction, and for instruction which is in righteousness:
17 damit der Mensch Gottes sei richtig und hergerichtet zu jedem guten Werk.
that the man of God may be perfect unto every good work, and completed.
