1 Koenige 10
1 Als aber die Königin von Saba das Gerücht von Salomo vernahm und von dem Tempel, den Salomo dem Namen Jahwes erbaut hatte, da kam sie, um ihn mit Rätseln zu versuchen.
And [the] queen of Sheba [was] hearing [the] report of Solomon to [the] name of Yahweh and she came to put to [the] test him by difficult matters.
2 Sie kam aber nach Jerusalem mit einem sehr großen Gefolge, sowie mit Kamelen, die Spezereien und eine große Menge Goldes und Edelsteine trugen. Als sie nun zu Salomo hineinkam, trug sie ihm alles das vor, was sie sich vorgenommen hatte.
And she came Jerusalem towards with a retinue numerous very camels carrying spices and gold much very and stone[s] precious and she came to Solomon and she spoke to him all that it was with heart her.
3 Salomo aber hatte Antwort auf alle ihre Fragen; es gab nichts, was dem Könige verborgen gewesen wäre, daß er ihr die Antwort darauf schuldig geblieben wäre.
And he told to her Solomon all words her not it was anything hidden from the king which not he told to her.
4 Als aber die Königin von Saba alle die Weisheit Salomos wahrnahm, und den Palast, den er erbaut hatte,
And she saw [the] queen of Sheba all [the] wisdom of Solomon and the house which he had built.
5 und die Speisen für seinen Tisch, die Wohnungen seiner Beamten und das Aufwarten seiner Diener und ihre Gewänder und seine Mundschenken und sein Brandopfer, das er im Tempel Jahwes darzubringen pflegte, da geriet sie ganz außer sich
And [the] food of table his and [the] seating of servants his and [the] standing of (servants his *Q(K)*) and clothes their and cup-bearers his and burnt offering[s] his which he offered up [the] house of Yahweh and not it was in her still breath.
6 und sprach zum Könige: Volle Wahrheit ist es gewesen, was ich in meinem Lande von deinen Angelegenheiten und von deiner Weisheit vernommen habe.
And she said to the king truth it was the word which I heard in own land my on words your and on wisdom your.
7 Ich habe der Kunde nicht glauben wollen, bis ich gekommen bin und es mit eigenen Augen gesehen habe. Und dabei ist mir noch nicht einmal die Hälfte berichtet worden; du besitzest vielmehr Weisheit und Reichtum, als das Gerücht sagt, welches ich vernommen habe.
And not I believed the words until that I came and they saw eyes my and here! not it was told to me the half you have added wisdom and good to the report which I heard.
8 Glückselig deine Frauen, glückselig diese deine Diener, die allezeit dienend vor dir stehen und deine Weisheit hören!
How blessed! [are] people your how blessed! [are] servants your these who stand before you continually who hear wisdom your.
9 Es sei Jahwe, dein Gott gepriesen, der an dir Wohlgefallen hatte, daß er dich auf den Thron Israels setzte; weil Jahwe Israel lieb hat ewiglich, darum hat er dich zum König eingesetzt, daß du Recht und Gerechtigkeit übest!
May he be Yahweh God your blessed who he delights in you to put you on [the] throne of Israel because loves Yahweh Israel for ever and he has appointed you to king to do justice and righteousness.
10 Und sie schenkte dem Könige 120 Talente Goldes und eine große Menge Spezereien und Edelsteine; niemals wieder gingen so viele Spezereien ein, als die Königin von Saba dem Könige Salomo schenkte.
And she gave to the king one hundred and twenty - talent[s] of gold and spices much very and stone[s] precious not it has come like the spice that again to abundance which she gave [the] queen of Sheba to the king Solomon.
11 Aber auch die Schiffe Hirams, die Gold aus Ophir geholt hatten, brachten eine große Menge von Sandelholz und Edelsteinen mit.
And also [the] ship[s] of Hiram which it carried gold from Ophir it brought from Ophir wood of almug much very and stone[s] precious.
12 Und der König ließ von dem Sandelholz Lehnen sowohl für den Tempel, als für den königlichen Palast, anfertigen, sowie Zithern und Harfen für die Sänger; in solcher Weise ist Sandelholz nicht mehr eingeführt worden, noch zu sehen gewesen bis auf den heutigen Tag.
And he made the king [the] wood of the almug support[s] for [the] house of Yahweh and for [the] house of the king and harps and lyres for the singers not it has come thus wood of almug and not it has been seen until the day this.
13 Und der König Salomo gab der Königin von Saba alles, was sie wünschte und begehrte, außer dem, was er ihr gab aus eigner königlicher Freigebigkeit. Hierauf machte sie sich auf den Heimweg und zog samt ihren Dienern wieder in ihr Land.
And the king Solomon he gave to [the] queen of Sheba all desire her which she asked besides [that] which he had given to her according to [the] hand of the king Solomon and she turned and she went to own land her she and servants her.
14 Und das Gewicht des Goldes, das für Salomo in einem Jahre einkam, betrug 666 Goldtalente,
And it was [the] weight of the gold which it came to Solomon in a year one six hundred sixty and six talent[s] of gold.
15 abgesehen von dem, was einkam von den Karawanen und dem Handel der Kaufleute und von allen Königen der Steppenbewohner und den Stattgaltern des Landes.
Apart from [the] men of the merchants and [the] merchandise of the traders and all [the] kings of the Arab[s] and [the] governors of the land.
16 Und der König Salomo ließ zweihundert große Schilde von geschlagenem Gold anfertigen; sechshundert Sekel Goldes verwendete er auf jeden Schild;
And he made the king Solomon two hundred body shield[s] gold beaten six hundred gold he put up on the body shield one.
17 dazu dreihundert Tartschen von geschlagenem Golde: drei Minen Goldes verwendete er auf jede Tartsche. Und der König that sie ins Libanonwald-Haus.
And three hundred shields gold beaten three minas gold he put up on the shield one and he put them the king [the] House of [the] Forest of Lebanon.
18 Ferner ließ der König einen großen elfenbeinernen Thron anfertigen und überzog ihn mit lauterem Golde.
And he made the king a throne of ivory great and he overlaid it gold refined.
19 Sechs Stufen hatte der Thron, und das Oberteil hinten am Throne war gerundet; und am Sitzplatze waren auf beiden Seiten Armlehnen, und neben den Lehnen standen zwei Löwen.
Six steps [belonged] to the throne and a top round [belonged] to the throne behind it and hands from this and from this [were] to [the] place of the sitting and two lions [were] standing beside the hands.
20 Zwölf Löwen aber standen auf den sechs Stufen zu beiden Seiten. Derartiges ist nie für irgend ein Königreich angefertigt worden.
And two [plus] ten lions [were] standing there on [the] six the steps from this and from this not it had been made thus for all kingdoms.
21 Und alle Trinkgefäße des Königs Salomo waren von Gold und alle Geräte des Libanonwald-Hauses waren von feinem Golde, nichts von Silber, denn das Silber wurde zu den Zeiten Salomos für gar nichts geachtet.
And all [the] vessels of [the] drink of the king Solomon [were] gold and all [the] utensils of [the] House of [the] Forest of Lebanon [were] gold pure gold there not [was] silver not [it was] reckoned in [the] days of Solomon to anything.
22 Denn der König hatte Tarsisschiffe auf dem Meere bei den Schiffen Hirams; aller drei Jahre einmal kamen die Tarsisschiffe und brachten Gold, Silber, Elfenbein, Affen und Pfauen.
For [the] ship[s] of Tarshish [belonged] to the king on the sea with [the] ship[s] of Hiram one [time] to three years it came - [the] ship[s] of Tarshish carrying gold and silver ivori and monkeys and apes.
23 Und der König Salomo übertraf alle Könige der Erde an Reichtum und Weisheit.
And he became great the king Solomon more than all [the] kings of the earth to wealth and to wisdom.
24 Und alle Welt begehrte Salomo zu sehen, um die Aussprüche seiner Weisheit zu hören, die ihm Gott ins Herz gegeben hatte.
And all the earth [were] seeking [the] face of Solomon to hear wisdom his which he had put God in heart his.
25 Dabei brachten sie ein jeder sein Geschenk, silberne und goldene Geräte, Gewänder und Waffen, Spezereien, Rosse und Maultiere, ein Jahr wie das andere.
And they [were] bringing each gift his articles of silver and articles of gold and garments and weaponry and spices horses and mules [the] matter of a year in a year.
26 Und Salomo beschaffte zahlreiche Wagen und Reiter, und zwar besaß er 1400 Wagen und 12000 Reiter; die legte er in die Wagenstädte und in die Umgebung des Königs zu Jerusalem.
And he gathered Solomon chariotry and horsemen and it belonged to him one thousand and four hundred chariot[s] and two [plus] ten thousand horsemen and he led them in [the] cities of chariotry and with the king in Jerusalem.
27 Und der König machte, daß das Silber zu Jerusalem an Menge den Steinen gleichkam, und die Cedern den Maulbeerfeigenbäumen, die in der Niederung wachsen.
And he made the king silver in Jerusalem like stone and cedars he made like the sycamores which [are] in the Shephelah for abundance.
28 Und die Ausfuhr der Rosse Salomos erfolgte aus Ägypten, und zwar pflegten die königlichen Händler einen Zug zu holen gegen Bezahlung,
And [the] export of the horses which [belonged] to Solomon [was] from Egypt and from Que [the] traders of the king they took [them] from Que for a price.
29 so daß ein Wagen um 600 Silbersekel aus Ägypten heraufgebracht und ausgeführt wurde, ein Pferd aber um 150. Und auf diese Weise wurden sie durch ihre Vermittelung an alle Könige der Hethiter und die Könige der Aramäer ausgeführt.
And it came up and it came out a chariot from Egypt for six hundred silver and a horse for fifty and one hundred and thus to all [the] kings of the Hittites and to [the] kings of Aram by hand their they brought [them] out.
