1 Johannes 2
1 Meine Kinder, ich schreibe euch dies, damit ihr nicht sündiget. Und wenn einer sündigt, so haben wir einen Fürsprecher beim Vater, Jesus Christus den Gerechten.
MY little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
2 Und er ist eine Sühne für unsere Sünden, nicht aber für die unseren allein, sondern auch für die ganze Welt.
And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
3 Und daran erkennen wir, daß wir ihn erkannt haben, wenn wir seine Gebote halten.
And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
4 Wer sagt: ich habe ihn erkannt, und hält seine Gebote nicht, ist ein Lügner und in ihm ist die Wahrheit nicht.
He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
5 Wer aber sein Wort hält, in dem ist wahrhaft die Liebe Gottes vollendet.
But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.
6 Daran erkennen wir, daß wir in ihm sind. Wer sagt, er bleibe in ihm, ist auch verpflichtet ebenso zu wandeln, wie jener wandelte.
He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.
7 Geliebte, ich schreibe euch nicht ein neues Gebot, sondern ein altes Gebot, das ihr von Anfang hattet; das alte Gebot ist das Wort, welches ihr gehört habt.
Brethren, I write no new commandment unto you, but an old commandment which ye had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which ye have heard from the beginning.
8 Wiederum schreibe ich euch ein neues Gebot, das wahr ist in ihm und in euch, weil die Finsternis vergeht und das wahrhaftige Licht bereits scheint.
Again, a new commandment I write unto you, which thing is true in him and in you: because the darkness is past, and the true light now shineth.
9 Wer sagt, er sei im Lichte, und haßt seinen Bruder, ist in der Finsternis bis jetzt.
He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now.
10 Wer seinen Bruder liebt, bleibt im Licht, und in ihm ist kein Anstoß.
He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him.
11 Wer aber seinen Bruder haßt, ist in der Finsternis, und wandelt in der Finsternis, und weiß nicht wo er hinkommt, weil die Finsternis seine Augen geblendet hat.
But he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes.
12 Ich schreibe euch, Kinder, weil euch die Sünden vergeben sind um seines Namens willen. Ich schreibe euch, Väter, weil ihr erkannt habt den, der von Anfang ist.
I write unto you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for his name’s sake.
13 Ich schreibe euch, Jünglinge, weil ihr den Bösen überwunden habt. Ich habe euch geschrieben, Kinder, weil ihr den Vater erkannt habt.
I write unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I write unto you, young men, because ye have overcome the wicked one. I write unto you, little children, because ye have known the Father.
14 Ich habe euch geschrieben, Väter, weil ihr erkannt habt den, der von Anfang ist. Ich habe euch geschrieben, Jünglinge, weil ihr stark seid, und das Wort Gottes in euch bleibt, und ihr den Bösen überwunden habt.
I have written unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one.
15 Habt nicht lieb die Welt, und nicht was in der Welt ist. Wenn einer die Welt lieb hat, so ist die Liebe des Vaters nicht in ihm;
Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
16 weil alles, was in der Welt ist, die Lust des Fleisches und die Lust der Augen, und das Großthun des Geldes, nicht von dem Vater ist, sondern von der Welt ist.
For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
17 Und die Welt vergeht und ihre Lust; wer aber den Willen Gottes thut, bleibt in Ewigkeit. (aiōn g165)
And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever. (aiōn g165)
18 Kinder es ist die letzte Stunden, und wie ihr gehört habt, daß der Antichrist kommt, so sind nunmehr viele Antichriste erschienen, daran wir erkennen, daß es die letzte Stunde ist.
Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.
19 Von uns sind sie ausgegangen, aber sie waren nicht von uns; denn wenn sie von uns wären, so wären sie bei uns geblieben; aber es sollte an ihnen offenbar werden, daß nicht alle von uns sind.
They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.
20 Und ihr habt die Salbung von dem Heiligen und wisset es alle.
But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things.
21 Ich habe euch nicht geschrieben, weil ihr die Wahrheit nicht wisset, sondern weil ihr sie wisset, und daß alle Lüge nicht aus der Wahrheit ist.
I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth.
22 Wer ist der Lügner, wenn nicht der, der da leugnet, daß Jesus sei der Christus? Der ist der Antichrist, der den Vater verleugnet und den Sohn.
Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.
23 Jeder, der den Sohn leugnet, hat auch den Vater nicht; wer den Sohn bekennt, hat auch den Vater. Was ihr gehört habt von Anfang, das bleibe in euch.
Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: [but] he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.
24 Wenn es in euch bleibt, was ihr von Anfang gehört habt, so werdet auch ihr im Sohne und im Vater bleiben.
Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father.
And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life. (aiōnios g166)
26 Dieses habe ich euch geschrieben über die, die euch irreführen, und ihr - die Salbung, die ihr von ihm empfangen habt, bleibt in euch,
These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you.
27 und ihr habt nicht nötig, daß euch jemand belehre, sondern wie seine Salbung euch belehrt über alles, und wahr ist, und ist keine Lüge, und wie sie euch gelehrt hat, so bleibet in ihm.
But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.
28 Und nun Kinder, bleibet in ihm, damit wir, wenn er sich offenbart, Zuversicht haben, und nicht von seiner Seite beschämt werden bei seiner Ankunft.
And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.
29 So ihr wisset, daß er gerecht ist, so erkennet, daß auch jeder, die die Gerechtigkeit übt, aus ihm gezeugt ist.
If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of him.
