1 Chronik 5
1 Und die Söhne Rubens, des Erstgeborenen Israels, - denn er war der Erstgeborene; als er aber das Lager seines Vaters entweiht hatte, wurde sein Erstgeburtsrecht den Söhnen Josephs, des Sohnes Israels, verliehen, nur daß er im Geschlechtregister nicht als Erstgeborener eingetragen werden sollte.
As for sons of Reuben, firstborn of Israel—for he [is] the firstborn, and on account of his profaning the bed of his father his birthright has been given to the sons of Joseph son of Israel, and [he is] not to be reckoned by genealogy for the birthright,
2 Denn Juda hatte die Obmacht unter seinen Brüdern, und zum Fürsten ward einer aus ihm genommen; aber das Erstgeburtsrecht wurde Joseph zuteil -
for Judah has been mighty over his brother, and for leader above him, and the birthright [is] to Joseph—
3 die Söhne Rubens also, des Erstgeborenen Israels, waren: Hanoch, Pallu, Hezron und Karmi.
sons of Reuben, firstborn of Israel: Enoch, and Pallu, Hezron, and Carmi.
4 Die Söhne Joels waren: sein Sohn Semaja, dessen Sohn Gog, dessen Sohn Simei,
Sons of Joel: Shemaiah his son, Gog his son, Shimei his son,
5 dessen Sohn Micha, dessen Sohn Reaja, dessen Sohn Baal,
Micah his son, Reaiah his son, Ba‘al his son,
6 dessen Sohn Beera, den Thilhath-Pilneser, der König von Assyrien, in die Gefangenschaft führte; er war ein Fürst der Rubeniten.
Beerah his son, whom Tilgath-Pilneser king of Asshur removed; he [is] prince of the Reubenite.
7 Und seine Brüder nach ihren Geschlechtern, wie sie nach ihrer Abstammung verzeichnet wurden, waren: der Erste Jeiel und Sacharja
And his brothers, by their families, in the genealogy of their generations, [are] heads: Jeiel, and Zechariah,
8 und Bela, der Sohn Asas', des Sohnes Semas, des Sohnes Joels; der wohnte zu Aroer und bis Nebo und Baal Meon.
and Bela son of Azaz, son of Shema, son of Joel—he is dwelling in Aroer, even to Nebo and Ba‘al-Meon;
9 Und nach Osten zu wohnte er bis an den Rand der Steppe, die sich vom Euphratstrome her erstreckt; denn ihre Herden waren zahlreich in Gilead.
and he dwelt at the east even to the entering in of the wilderness, even from the Euphrates River, for their livestock were multiplied in the land of Gilead.
10 Zur Zeit Sauls aber führten sie Krieg gegen die Hagriter, und als diese durch ihre Hand gefallen waren, besetzten sie ihre Zeltlager auf der ganzen Ostseite von Gilead.
And they have made war with the Hagarites in the days of Saul, who fall by their hand, and they dwell in their tents over all the face of the east of Gilead.
11 Die Söhne Gads aber wohnten ihnen gegenüber im Lande Basan bis Salcha:
And the sons of Gad have dwelt opposite them in the land of Bashan to Salcah:
12 Joel, der erste, und Saphan, der zweite an Rang, und Jaenai und Saphat in Basan.
Joel the head, and Shapham the second, and Jaanai and Shaphat in Bashan;
13 Und ihre Brüder nach ihren Familien waren: Michael, Mesullam, Seba, Jorai, Jaekan, Sia und Eber, zusammen sieben.
and their brothers of the house of their fathers [are] Michael, and Meshullam, and Sheba, and Jorai, and Jachan, and Zia, and Heber—seven.
14 Dies sind die Söhne Abihails, des Sohnes Huris, des Sohnes Jahroas, des Sohnes Gileads, des Sohnes Michaels, des Sohnes Jesisais, des Sohnes Jados, des Sohnes Bus'.
These [are] sons of Abihail son of Huri, son of Jaroah, son of Gilead, son of Michael, son of Jeshishai, son of Jahdo, son of Buz;
15 Ahi, der Sohn Abdiels, des Sohnes Gunis, war ein Haupt ihrer Familien.
Ahi son of Abdiel, son of Guni, [is] head of the house of their fathers;
16 Und sie wohnten in Gilead, in Basan und den zugehörigen Ortschaften und auf allen Weidetriften Sarons bis an ihre Ausgänge.
and they dwell in Gilead in Bashan, and in her small towns, and in all outskirts of Sharon, on their outskirts;
17 Diese alle wurden aufgezeichnet zur Zeit Jothams, des Königs von Juda, und zur Zeit Jerobeams, des Königs von Israel.
all of them reckoned themselves by genealogy in the days of Jotham king of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam king of Israel.
18 Die Rubeniten, die Gaditen und der halbe Stamm Manasse, was tapfere Männer waren, die Schild und Schwert trugen und den Bogen spannten und kampfgeübt waren - 44760 kriegstüchtige Männer -,
Sons of Reuben, and the Gadite, and the half of the tribe of Manasseh, of sons of valor, men carrying shield and sword, and treading bow, and taught in battle, [are] forty-four thousand and seven hundred and sixty, going out to the host.
19 die führten Krieg mit den Hagritern und mit Jetur, Naphis und Nodab.
And they make war with the Hagarites, and Jetur, and Naphish, and Nodab,
20 Und es ward ihnen geholfen wider sie und die Hagriter wurden samt allen ihren Verbündeten in ihre Gewalt gegeben. Denn sie hatten während des Kampfes zu Gott um Hilfe geschrien, und er ließ sich von ihnen erbitten, weil sie auf ihn vertraut hatten.
and they are helped against them, and the Hagarites are given into their hand, and all who [are] with them, for they cried to God in battle, and He received their plea, because they trusted in Him.
21 Und sie führten ihre Herden als Beute hinweg: 50000 Kamele, 250000 Schafe und 2000 Esel; dazu 100000 Menschen.
And they take their livestock captive—fifty thousand of their camels, and two hundred and fifty thousand sheep, and two thousand donkeys, and one hundred thousand of mankind;
22 Denn es waren viele vom Schwert durchbohrt gefallen, weil der Krieg von Gott geordnet war. Und so wohnten sie an ihrer Statt bis zur Wegführung.
for many have fallen pierced, for the battle [is] of God; and they dwell in their stead until the expulsion.
23 Und die Angehörigen des halben Stammes Manasse wohnten im Lande von Basan bis Baal Hermon und bis zum Senir und zum Hermongebirge. Sie waren zahlreich,
And the sons of the half of the tribe of Manasseh dwelt in the land, from Bashan to Ba‘al-Hermon, and Senir, and Mount Hermon; they have multiplied.
24 und dies waren ihre Familienhäupter: Epher, Jisei, Eliel, Asriel, Jeremia, Hodawja und Jahdiel, tapfere Krieger, hochgefeierte Männer, Häupter in ihren Familien.
And these [are] heads of the house of their fathers: even Epher, and Ishi, and Eliel, and Azriel, and Jeremiah, and Hodaviah, and Jahdiel, men mighty in valor, men of renown, heads of the house of their fathers.
25 Als sie aber gegen den Gott ihrer Väter treulos handelten und mit den Göttern der heidnischen Völkerschaften buhlten, die Gott vor ihnen vertilgt hatte,
And they trespass against the God of their fathers, and go whoring after the gods of the peoples of the land whom God destroyed from their presence;
26 da reizte der Gott Israels die Wut Puls, des Königs von Assyrien, und die Wut Thilgath-Pilnesers, des Königs von Assyrien, an, daß er die Rubeniten, die Gaditen und den halben Stamm Manasse hinwegführte und sie nach Halah, Habor, Hara und an den Fluß Gosan brachte, bis auf den heutigen Tag.
and the God of Israel stirs up the spirit of Pul king of Asshur, and the spirit of Tilgath-Pilneser king of Asshur, and he removes them—even the Reubenite, and the Gadite, and the half of the tribe of Manasseh—and brings them to Halah, and Habor, and Hara, and the River of Gozan to this day.
