1 Chronik 26
1 Was die Thorhüterabteilungen betrifft, so waren von den Korahitern: Meselemja, der Sohn Kores, aus den Nachkommen Asaphs.
Concerning the divisions of the gatekeepers [who were] of the Korchites: Meshelemyahu the son of Kore, of the sons of Assaph.
2 Meselemjas Söhne aber waren: Sacharja, der Erstgeborene, Jediael der zweite, Sebadja der dritte, Jathniel der vierte,
And Meshelemyahu had sons: Zecharyahu the first-born, Jedi'ael the second, Zebaiyahu the third, Jathniel the fourth,
3 Elam der fünfte, Johanan der sechste, Eljoenai der siebente.
Elam the fifth, Jehochanan the sixth, Elyeho'enal the seventh,
4 Die Söhne Obed-Edoms waren: Semaja der Erstgeborene, Josabad der zweite, Joah der dritte, Sachar der vierte, Nethaneel der fünfte,
And 'Obed-edom had sons: Shema'yah the first-born, Jehosabad the second, Joach the third, and Sachar the fourth, and Nethanel the fifth,
5 Ammiel der sechste, Issachar der siebente, Pegullethai der achte - denn Gott hatte ihn gesegnet.
'Ammiel the sixth, Issachar the seventh, Pe'ulthai the eighth; for God had blessed him.
6 Seinem Sohne Semaja aber wurden auch Söhne geboren, die in ihrer Familie herrschten; denn sie waren wackere Männer.
Also unto Shema'yah his son there were born sons, that were rulers for the house of their father; for they were mighty men of valor.
7 Die Söhne Semajas waren: Othni, Rephael, Obed und Elsabad, seine Brüder, tüchtige Leute, Elihu und Semachja.
The sons of Shema'yah were 'Othni, and Rephael, and 'Obed, [and] Elsahad, his brothers [were] valiant men, Elihu, and Semachyahu.
8 Diese alle gehörten zu den Nachkommen Obed-Edoms, sie und ihre Söhne und Brüder, tüchtige Männer, voller Fähigkeit zum Dienst, zusammen 62 von Obed-Edom.
All these were of the sons of 'Obed-edom: they and their sons and their brethren were valiant men in strength for the service, being sixty and two [descendants] of 'Obed-edom.
9 Auch Meselemja hatte Söhne und Brüder, tüchtige Leute, zusammen 18.
And Meshelemyahu had sons and brethren, valiant men, eighteen.
10 Und die Söhne Hosas, der zu den Nachkommen Meraris gehörte, waren: Simri, das Oberhaupt (denn es war kein Erstgeborener mehr vorhanden, und so machte ihn sein Vater zum Oberhaupte),
Also Chossah, of the children of Merari, had sons: Shimri the chief, for [though] he was not the first-born, yet his father made him the chief;
11 Hilkia der zweite, Tebalja der dritte, Sacharja der vierte. Der Söhne und Brüder Hosas waren insgesamt 13.
Chilkiyahu the second, Tehalyahu the third, Zecharyahu the fourth; all the sons and brethren of Chossah were thirteen.
12 Diesen Abteilungen der Thorhüter, genauer den Geschlechtshäuptern, fielen so gut wie ihren Stammesgenossen amtliche Verrichtungen im Dienst am Tempel Jahwes zu.
These divisions of the gatekeepers, after the chief men, had the watch along with their brethren, to minister in the house of the Lord.
13 Und man warf das Los für die einzelnen Thore nach Familien, so daß es den jüngeren wie den älteren Gliedern derselben galt.
And they cast lots, the small as well as the great, according to their family divisions, for each and every gate.
14 Da fiel das Los für das Thor nach Osten zu auf Selemja. Auch für seinen Sohn Sacharja, einen einsichtsvollen Berater, warf man Lose, und das Los fiel für ihn auf das Thor nach Norden zu,
And the lot at the east fell for Shelemyahu. And for Zecharyahu his son, an intelligent counsellor, they cast lots, and his lot came out at the north.
15 für Obed-Edom nach Süden zu und für seine Söhne auf das Vorratshaus,
For 'Obed-edom at the south; and to his sons [was assigned] the house of Assuppim.
16 und für Hosa auf das Thor nach Westen zu nebst dem Sallechet-Thor, an der aufsteigenden Straße, ein Posten neben dem andern.
For Shuppim and for Chossah at the west, by the gate Shallecheth, on the ascending causeway, watch alongside of watch.
17 Am Thore nach Osten zu waren der Leviten sechs, nach Norden zu täglich vier, nach Süden zu täglich vier, am Vorratshause je zwei;
At the east were six Levites, at the north four for every day, at the south four for every day, and for [the house of] Assuppim always two.
18 am Parpar nach Westen zu: vier für die Straße, zwei für den Parpar.
At the Parbar on the west, four at the causeway, and two at the Parbar.
19 Dies sind die Abteilungen der Thorhüter von den Nachkommen der Korahiter und von den Nachkommen Meraris.
These are the divisions of the gatekeepers of the sons of the Korchites, and of the sons of Merari.
20 Und ihre Stammesgenossen, die Leviten, beaufsichtigten die Vorräte des Tempels Gottes und die Vorräte an geweihten Gaben:
And of the Levites, Achiyah was over the treasuries of the house of God, and over the treasuries of the holy things.
21 Die Nachkommen Laedans, die Nachkommen des Gersoniters, Laedans, die Familienhäupter des Geschlechtes Laedans, des Gersoniters, die Jehieliter,
[As concerning] the sons of La'dan, the sons of the Gershunites of La'dan, the chiefs of the families of La'dan the Gershunite, were the Jechielites.
22 die Nachkommen der Jehieliter, Setham und sein Bruder Joel, beaufsichtigten die Vorräte des Tempels Jahwes.
The sons of Jechieli, Zetham, and Joel his brother, were over the treasuries of the house of the Lord.
23 Was die Amramiter, Jizhariter, Hebroniter und Ussieliter betrifft,
Of the 'Amramites, of the Yizharites, of the Hebronites, and of the 'Uzzielites,
24 so war Sebuel, der Sohn Gersoms, des Sohnes Moses, Oberaufseher über die Vorräte.
[Was] even Shebuel the son of Gershom, the son of Moses, superintendent of the treasuries.
25 Und was seine Stammesgenossen von Elieser her betrifft, so war dessen Sohn Rehabja, dessen Sohn Jesaja, dessen Sohn Joram, dessen Sohn Sichri, dessen Sohn Selomith.
And his brethren by Eli'ezer: Rechabyahu his son, and Jesha'yahu his son, and Joram his son, and Zichri his son, and Shelomoth his son.
26 Dieser Selomith und seine Brüder beaufsichtigten alle Vorräte an geweihten Gaben, die der König David und die Familienhäupter, die Anführer der Tausendschaften und der Hundertschaften und die Heerführer geweiht hatten
This Shelomoth and his brethren were over all the treasuries of the holy things, which king David had sanctified, together with the chiefs of the family divisions, the captains over the thousands and the hundreds, and the captains of the army.
27 (von den Kriegen her und von der Beute hatten sie sie geweiht, um den Tempel Jahwes zu unterstützen),
Out of the wars, and out of the booty did they sanctify to maintain the house of the Lord.
28 und alles, was Samuel, der Seher, und Saul, der Sohn Kis', und Abner, der Sohn Ners, und Joab, der Sohn Zerujas, geweiht hatten, - alles Geweihte stand unter der Aufsicht Selomiths und seiner Brüder.
And all that Samuel the seer, and Saul the son of Kish, and Abner the son of Ner, and Joab the son of Zeruyah, had sanctified, whatsoever [any one] had sanctified, was under the supervision of Shelomoth and of his brethren.
29 Von den Jizharitern waren Kenanja und seine Söhne für die auswärtigen Geschäfte in Israel - als Amtleute und Richter - bestimmt.
Of the Yizharites were Kenanyahu and his sons for the outward business over Israel, for officers and judges.
30 Von den Hebronitern standen Hasabja und seine Brüder, tüchtige Leute, 1700 an der Zahl, der Verwaltung Israels westlich vom Jordan vor, in allen Angelegenheiten Jahwes und im Dienste des Königs.
Of the Hebronites were Chashabyahu and his brethren, valiant men, a thousand and seven hundred [in number], appointed over the affairs of Israel on this side of the Jordan to the west, for all the business of the Lord, and for the service of the king.
31 Zu den Hebronitern gehörte Jeria, das Oberhaupt der Hebroniter nach ihren Geschlechtern und ihren Familien (im vierzigsten Jahre der Regierung Davids wurden sie aufgesucht, und es fanden sich unter ihnen wackere Männer zu Jaeser in Gilead),
Of the Hebronites was Jeriyah the chief, for the Hebronites, according to their generations by families. In the fortieth year of the reign of David were they inquired into, and there were found among them mighty men of valor at Ja'zer of Gil'ad.
32 und seine Geschlechtsgenossen, tüchtige Leute, zusammen 2700 Familienhäupter; die setzte der König David über die Rubeniten, die Gaditen und den halben Stamm der Manassiten in allen Angelegenheiten Gottes und den Angelegenheiten des Königs.
And his brethren, valiant men, were two thousand and seven hundred chiefs of families: and king David appointed them over the Reubenites, the Gadites, and the half tribe of Menasseh, for every matter pertaining to God, and the affairs of the king.
