1 Chronik 24
1 Die Nachkommen Aarons aber hatten auch ihre Abteilungen. Die Söhne Aarons waren Nadab, Abihu, Eleasar und Ithamar.
And the divisions of the sons of Aaron: the sons of Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.
2 Nadab und Abihu aber starben vor ihrem Vater, ohne Söhne zu hinterlassen, und so bekleideten nur Eleasar und Ithamar das Priesteramt.
And Nadab and Abihu died before their father, and had no children; and Eleazar and Ithamar exercised the priesthood.
3 Und David nebst Zadok, der von den Nachkommen Eleasars war, und Ahimelech, der von den Nachkommen Ithamars war, teilten sie je nach ihrem Amt in ihren Dienst ein.
And David distributed them, both Zadok of the sons of Eleazar, and Ahimelech of the sons of Ithamar, according to their office in their service.
4 Es befand sich aber, daß die Nachkommen Eleasars hinsichtlich der Geschlechtshäupter zahlreicher waren, als die Nachkommen Ithamars; daher teilte man sie so, daß auf Eleasar sechzehn, auf Ithamar acht Familienhäupter kamen.
And there were more head-men found of the sons of Eleazar than of the sons of Ithamar, and [thus] were they divided: of the sons of Eleazar there were sixteen heads of fathers' houses, and eight of the sons of Ithamar according to their fathers' houses.
5 Und zwar teilte man sie, die einen wie die anderen, durchs Los ab; denn es gab Fürsten des Heiligtums und Fürsten Gottes sowohl unter den Nachkommen Eleasars, als unter den Nachkommen Ithamars.
And they were divided by lot, one with another; for the princes of the sanctuary and the princes of God were of the sons of Eleazar and of the sons of Ithamar.
6 Und Semaja, der Sohn Nethaneels, der Schreiber aus der Zahl der Leviten, schrieb sie auf in Gegenwart des Königs und der Fürsten und des Priesters Zadok und Ahimelechs, des Sohnes Abjathars, sowie der Familienhäupter der Priester und Leviten. Je eine Familie wurde von der Linie Eleasar und je eine von der Linie Ithamar ausgelost.
And Shemaiah the son of Nethaneel the scribe, [one] of the Levites, inscribed them before the king, and the princes, and Zadok the priest, and Ahimelech the son of Abiathar, and the chief fathers of the priests and Levites: one father's house was drawn for Eleazar, and one drawn for Ithamar.
7 Das erste Los fiel auf Jojarib, das zweite auf Jedaja,
And the first lot came forth for Jehoiarib, the second for Jedaiah,
8 das dritte auf Harim, das vierte auf Seorim,
the third for Harim, the fourth for Seorim,
9 das fünfte auf Malchia, das sechste auf Mijamin,
the fifth for Malchijah, the sixth for Mijamin,
10 das siebente auf Hakkoz, das achte auf Abia,
the seventh for Hakkoz, the eighth for Abijah,
11 das neunte auf Jesua, das zehnte auf Sechanja,
the ninth for Jeshuah, the tenth for Shecaniah,
12 das elfte auf Eljasib, das zwölfte auf Jakim,
the eleventh for Eliashib, the twelfth for Jakim,
13 das dreizehnte auf Huppa, das vierzehnte auf Jesebeab,
the thirteenth for Huppah, the fourteenth for Jeshebeab,
14 das fünfzehnte auf Bilga, das sechzehnte auf Immer,
the fifteenth for Bilgah, the sixteenth for Immer,
15 das siebzehnte auf Hesir, das achtzehnte auf Happizzez,
the seventeenth for Hezir, the eighteenth for Happizez,
16 das neunzehnte auf Pethahja, das zwanzigste auf Jeheskel,
the nineteenth for Pethahiah, the twentieth for Ezekiel,
17 das einundzwanzigste auf Jachin, das zweiundzwanzigste auf Gamul,
the twenty-first for Jachin, the twenty-second for Gamul,
18 das dreiundzwanzigste auf Delaja, das vierundzwanzigste auf Maasja.
the twenty-third for Delaiah, the twenty-fourth for Maaziah.
19 Das ist ihre Amtsordnung für ihren Dienst, den Tempel Jahwes zu betreten, gemäß der Vorschrift, die ihr Ahnherr Aaron für sie erlassen hatte, so wie es Jahwe, der Gott Israels ihm befohlen hatte.
This is their ordering in their service to come into the house of Jehovah, according to their ordinance, through Aaron their father, as Jehovah the God of Israel had commanded him.
20 Was aber die übrigen Nachkommen Levis betrifft, so waren von den Nachkommen Amrams Subael, von den Nachkommen Subaels Jehdeja,
And as for the rest of the sons of Levi: of the sons of Amram, Shubael; of the sons of Shubael, Jehdeiah.
21 von den Nachkommen Rehabjas das Oberhaupt Jissia,
Of Rehabiah, of the sons of Rehabiah, the head was Jishijah.
22 von den Jizharitern Selomoth, von den Nachkommen Selomoths Jahath;
Of the Jizharites, Shelomoth; of the sons of Shelomoth, Jahath.
23 von den Nachkommen Hebrons aber waren: Jeria, das Oberhaupt, Amarja, der zweite, Jahasiel, der dritte, Jekameam, der vierte.
— And the sons [of Hebron]: Jerijah [the head], Amariah the second, Jahaziel the third, Jekameam the fourth.
24 Die Nachkommen Ussiels waren: Micha, von den Nachkommen Michas Samir.
The sons of Uzziel, Micah; of the sons of Micah, Shamir;
25 Der Bruder Michas war Jissia; von den Nachkommen Jissias war Sacharja.
the brother of Micah was Jishijah; of the sons of Jishijah, Zechariah.
26 Die Nachkommen Meraris waren Mahli und Musi, und die Nachkommen seines Sohnes Jaasia.
The sons of Merari: Mahli and Mushi; the sons of Jaaziah, his son.
27 Die Nachkommen Meraris von seinem Sohne Jaasia waren: Soham, Sakkur und Ibri.
The sons of Merari by Jaaziah his son: Shoham, and Zaccur, and Ibri.
28 Von Mali war Eleasar; der hatte keine Söhne.
Of Mahli: Eleazar, who had no sons.
29 Von Kis: Die Nachkommen Kis' waren: Jerahmeel.
Of Kish, the sons of Kish: Jerahmeel.
30 Die Nachkommen Musis waren: Mahli, Eder und Jerimoth. Das sind die Nachkommen der Leviten nach ihren Familien.
And the sons of Mushi: Mahli, and Eder, and Jerimoth. These were the sons of the Levites according to their fathers' houses.
31 Und auch sie warfen Lose, so gut wie ihre Stammesgenossen, die Nachkommen Aarons, in Gegenwart des Königs David und Zadoks und Ahimelechs und der Familienhäupter der Priester und Leviten, und zwar die Familienhäupter so gut wie ihre jüngeren Brüder.
These likewise cast lots just as their brethren the sons of Aaron before David the king, and Zadok, and Ahimelech, and the chief fathers of the priests and Levites, — the chief fathers just as the youngest of their brethren.
