1 Dies sind die Söhne Israels: Ruben, Simeon, Levi und Juda, Issachar und Sebulon,
These are the sonnes of Israel, Reuben, Simeon, Leui and Iudah, Isshachar, and Zebulun,
2 Dan Joseph und Benjamin, Naphthali, Gad und Asser.
Dan, Ioseph, and Beniamin, Naphtali, Gad, and Asher.
3 Die Söhne Judas waren: Ger, Onan und Sela, drei, die ihm von der Tochter Suas, der Kanaaniterin, geboren wurden. Es machte sich aber Ger, der Erstgeborene Judas, Jahwe mißfällig; daher ließ er ihn sterben.
The sonnes of Iudah, Er, and Onan, and Shelah. these three were borne to him of ye daughter of Shua the Canaanite: but Er the eldest sonne of Iudah was euil in the sight of the Lord, and he slew him.
4 Seine Schwiegertochter Thamar gebar ihm Perez und Serah. Die Gesamtzahl der Söhne Judas war fünf.
And Thamar his daughter in law bare him Pharez, and Zerah: so al the sonnes of Iudah were fiue.
5 Die Söhne Perez waren: Hezron und Hamul.
The sonnes of Pharez, Hezron and Hamul.
6 Und die Söhne Serahs: Simri, Ethan, Heman, Chalkol und Dara, zusammen fünf.
The sonnes also of Zerah were Zimri, and Ethan, and Heman, and Calcol, and Dara, which were fiue in all.
7 Und die Söhne Karmis: Achar, der Israel ins Unglück stürzte, indem er sich treulos am Geweihten vergriff.
And the sonne of Carmi, Achar that troubled Israel, transgressing in the thing excommunicate.
8 Und die Söhne Ethans: Asarja.
The sonne also of Ethan, Azariah.
9 Und die Söhne Hezrons, die ihm geboren wurden: Jerahmeel, Ram und Kelubai.
And the sonnes of Hezron that were borne vnto him, Ierahmeel, and Ram and Chelubai.
10 Ram aber erzeugte Amminadab, und Amminadab erzeugte Nahesson, den Fürsten der Judäer;
And Ram begate Aminadab, and Aminadab begate Nahshon prince of the children of Iudah,
11 Nahesson erzeugte Salma, Salma erzeugte Boas,
And Nahshon begate Salma, and Salma begate Boaz,
12 Boas erzeugte Obed, Obed erzeugte Isai.
And Boaz begate Obed, and Obed begate Ishai,
13 Und Isai erzeugte Eliab, seinen Erstgeborenen, und Abinadab als zweiten, Simea als dritten,
And Ishai begate his eldest sonne Eliab, and Abinadab the second, and Shimma the third,
14 Nethaneel als vierten, Raddai als fünften,
Nathaneel the fourth, Raddai the fift,
15 Ozem als sechsten, David als siebenten.
Ozem the sixt, and Dauid the seuenth.
16 Und ihre Schwestern waren: Zeruja und Abigail; und die Söhne Zerujas waren Absai, Joab und Asahel, zusammen drei.
Whose sisters were Zeruiah and Abigail. And the sonnes of Zeruiah, Abishai, and Ioab, and Asahel.
17 Abigail aber gebar Amasa, und der Vater Amasas war der Ismaelit Jether.
And Abigail bare Amasa: and the father of Amasa was Iether an Ishmeelite.
18 Kaleb aber, der Sohn Hezrons, erzeugte Kinder mit Asuba und mit Jerioth; und dies sind deren Söhne: Jeser, Sobab und Ardon.
And Caleb the sonne of Hezron begate Ierioth of Azubah his wife, and her sonnes are these, Iesher, and Shobab, and Ardon.
19 Und als Asuba gestorben war, heiratete Kaleb die Ephrath; die gebar ihm Hur.
And when Azubah was dead, Caleb tooke vnto him Ephrath, which bare him Hur.
20 Hur aber erzeugte Uri und Uri erzeugte Bezaleel.
And Hur begate Vri, and Vri begate Bezaleel.
21 Darnach verband sich Hezron mit der Tochter Machirs, des Vaters Gileads, und nahm sie zum Weibe, als er sechzig Jahre alt war; die gebar ihm Segub.
And afterward came Hezron to the daughter of Machir the father of Gilead, and tooke her when hee was threescore yere olde, and shee bare him Segub.
22 und Segub erzeugte Jair; der besaß dreiundzwanzig Städte im Lande Gilead.
And Segub begate Iair, which had three and twentie cities in the land of Gilead.
23 Aber die Gesuriter und Aramäer nahmen ihnen die Zeltdörfer Jairs, Kenath und die zugehörigen Ortschaften, zusammen sechzig Städte. Diese alle waren Söhne Machirs, des Vaters Gileads.
And Gesthur with Aram tooke the townes of Iair from them, and Kenath and the townes thereof, euen threescore cities. All these were the sonnes of Machir the father of Gilead.
24 Und nach dem Tode Hezrons kam Kaleb nach Ephrath. Und das Weib Hezrons war Abia; die gebar ihm Ashur, den Vater Thekoas.
And after that Hezron was dead at Caleb Ephratah, then Abiah Hezrons wife bare him also Ashur the father of Tekoa.
25 und die Söhne Jerahmeels, des Erstgeborenen Hezrons, waren: Ram, der Erstgeborene, und Buna, Oren, Ozem, Ahia.
And ye sonnes of Ierahmeel the eldest sone of Hezron were Ram the eldest, then Bunah, and Oren and Ozen and Ahiiah.
26 Und Jerahmeel hatte noch ein anderes Weib, die hieß Atara; diese war die Mutter Onams.
Also Ierahmeel had another wife named Atarah, which was the mother of Onam.
27 Und die Söhne Rams, des Erstgeborenen Jerahmeels, waren: Maaz, Jamin und Eker.
And the sonnes of Ram the eldest sonne of Ierahmeel were Maaz, and Iamin and Ekar.
28 Und die Söhne Onams waren: Sammai und Jada, und die Söhne Sammais: Nadab und Abisur.
And the sonnes of Onam were Shammai and Iada. And the sonnes of Shammai, Nadab and Abishur.
29 Das Weib Abisurs aber hieß Abihail; die gebar ihm Achban und Molid.
And the name of the wife of Abishur was called Abiahil, and shee bare him Ahban and Molid.
30 Und die Söhne Nadabs waren: Seled und Appaim; Seled aber starb kinderlos.
The sonnes also of Nadab were Seled and Appaim: but Seled died without children.
31 Und die Söhne Appaims waren: Jisei; und die Söhne Jiseis: Sesan; und die Söhne Sesans: Ahelai.
And the sonne of Appaim was Ishi, and the sonne of Ishi, Sheshan, and the sonne of Sheshan, Ahlai.
32 Und die Söhne Jadas, des Bruders Sammais, waren: Jether und Jonathan; Jether aber starb kinderlos.
And the sonnes of Iada the brother of Shammai were Iether and Ionathan: but Iether dyed without children.
33 Und die Söhne Jonathans waren: Peleth und Sasa. Das waren die Söhne Jerahmeels.
And the sonnes of Ionathan were Peleth and Zaza. These were the sonnes of Ierahmeel.
34 Und Sesan hatte keine Söhne, sondern nur Töchter. Es besaß aber Sesan einen ägyptischen Sklaven, der hieß Jarha.
And Sheshan had no sonnes, but daughters. And Sheshan had a seruant that was an Egyptian named Iarha.
35 Und Sesan gab seinem Sklaven Jarha seine Tochter zum Weibe; die gebar ihm Attai.
And Sheshan gaue his daughter to Iarha his seruant to wife, and she bare him Attai.
36 Attai erzeugte Nathan, Nathan erzeugte Sabad,
And Attai begate Nathan, and Nathan begate Zabad,
37 Sabad erzeugte Ephlal, Ephlal erzeugte Obed,
And Zabad begate Ephlal, and Ephlal begate Obed,
38 Obed erzeugte Jehu, Jehu erzeugte Asarja,
And Obed begate Iehu, and Iehu begate Azariah,
39 Asarja erzeugte Helez, Helez erzeugte Eleasa,
And Azariah begate Helez, and Helez begate Eleasah,
40 Eleasa erzeugte Sisemai, Sisemai erzeugte Sallum,
And Eleasah begate Sisamai, and Sisamai begate Shallum,
41 Sallum erzeugte Jekamja, Jekamja erzeugte Elisama.
And Shallum begate Iekamiah, and Iekamiah begate Elishama.
42 Und die Söhne Kalebs, des Bruders Jerahmeels, waren: Mesa, sein Erstgeborener, das ist der Vater von Siph, und die Bewohner Maresas, des Vaters von Hebron.
Also the sonnes of Caleb the brother of Ierahmeel, were Mesha his eldest sonne, which was the father of Ziph: and the sonnes of Mareshah the father of Hebron.
43 Und die Söhne Hebrons waren: Korah, Thappuah, Rekem und Sema.
And the sonnes of Hebron were Korah and Tappuah, and Rekem and Shema.
44 Sema erzeugte Raham, den Vater Jorkeams, und Rekem erzeugte Sammai.
And Shema begate Raham the father of Iorkoam: and Rekem begate Shammai.
45 Der Sohn Sammais aber war Maon, und Maon war der Vater von Beth-Zur.
The sonne also of Shammai was Maon: and Maon was the father of Beth-zur.
46 Und Epha, das Kebsweib Kalebs, gebar Haran, Moza und Gases; Haran aber erzeugte Gases.
And Ephah a concubine of Caleb bare Haran and Moza, and Gazez: Haran also begate Gazez.
47 Und die Söhne Jehdais waren: Regem, Jotham, Gesan, Pelet, Epha und Saaph.
The sonnes of Iahdai were Regem, and Iotham, and Geshan, and Pelet, and Ephah, and Shaaph.
48 Maacha, das Kebsweib Kalebs, gebar Seber und Thirhena.
Calebs concubine Maachah bare Sheber and Tirhanah.
49 Und sie gebar auch Saaph, Saaph, den Vater Madmannas, Sewa, den Vater Machbenas und den Vater Gibeas; und die Tochter Kalebs war Achsa.
She bare also Shaaph, the father of Madmannah, and Sheua the father of Machbenah, and the father of Gibea. And Achsah was Calebs daughter.
50 Dies sind die Söhne Kalebs: die Söhne Hurs, des Erstgeborenen von Ephratha, waren: Sobal, der Vater von Kirjath-Jearim,
These were the sonnes of Caleb the sone of Hur the eldest sonne of Ephrathah, Shobal the father of Kiriath-iearim.
51 Salma, der Vater von Bethlehem, Hareph, der Vater von Beth-Gader.
Salma the father of Beth-lehem, and Hareph the father of Beth-gader.
52 Und Sobal, der Vater von Kirjath-Jearim, hatte zu Söhnen: Haroe, halb Menuhoth
And Shobal the father of Kiriath-iearim had sonnes, and he was the ouerseer of halfe Hammenoth.
53 und die Geschlechter von Kirjath-Jearim, sowie die Jithriter, die Puthiter, die Sumathiter und die Misraiter. Von diesen gingen aus die Zoreathiter und die Esthaoliter.
And the families of Kiriath-iearim were the Ithrites, and the Puthites, and the Shumathites, and ye Mishraites of them came the Zarreathites, and the Eshtaulites.
54 Die Söhne Salmas sind: Bethlehem und Netophathiter, Ataroth, Beth-Joab und die Hälfte der Manahthiter, das ist der Zoreiter,
The sonnes of Salma of Beth-lehem, and the Netophathite, the crownes of the house of Ioab, and halfe the Manahthites and the Zorites.
55 und die Geschlechter der Schriftgelehrten, die Jabez bewohnen, die Thireathiter, die Simeathiter und die Suchathiter. Das sind die Kiniter, die von Hammath, dem Stammvater des Hauses Rechabs, abstammen.
And the families of the Scribes dwelling at Iabez, the Tirathites, the Shimmeathites, the Shuchathites, which are the Kenites, that came of Hammath the father of the house of Rechab.
