1 Chronik 16
1 Nachdem man sodann die Lade Gottes hineingebracht und in dem Zelte, das David für sie errichtet, aufgestellt hatte, brachte man vor Gott Brandopfer und Heilsopfer dar.
Therfor thei brouyten the arke of God, and settiden it in the myddis of the tabernacle, that Dauid hadde araied therto; and thei offriden brent sacrifices and pesible sacrifices bifor the Lord.
2 Und als David mit der Darbringung des Brandopfers und der Heilsopfer zu Ende war, segnete er das Volk im Namen Jahwes
And whanne Dauid offrynge brent sacrifices and pesible sacrifices hadde fillid, he blesside the puple in the name of the Lord;
3 und teilte allen Israeliten, Männern wie Weibern, jedem einen Laib Brot, ein Stück Fleisch und einen Traubenkuchen aus.
and departide to alle to ech bi hym silf fro a man til to a womman o cake of breed, and a part of rostid fleisch of a bugle, and flour fried in oile.
4 Er bestellte aber welche von den Leviten zu Dienern vor der Lade Jahwes und daß sie Jahwe, den Gott Israels preisen, ihm danken und ihn rühmen sollten:
And he ordeynede bifor the arke of the Lord, of the Leuytis, that schulden mynystre, and haue mynde of the werkis of the Lord, and glorifie and preyse the Lord God of Israel;
5 Asaph, das Haupt, und Sacharja, den zweiten im Range nach ihm, Jeiel, Semiramoth, Jehiel, Mattithja, Eliab, Benaja, Obed-Edom und Jeiel mit ihren Instrumenten, Harfen und Zithern; während Asaph die Cymbeln,
`he ordeynede Asaph the prince, and Zacharie his secounde; forsothe `he ordeynede Jahiel, and Semiramoth, and Jahel, and Mathathie, and Eliab, and Banaye, and Obededom, and Jehiel, on the orguns, on the sautrie, and on the harpis; but he ordeynede Asaph to sowne with cymbalis;
6 die Priester Benaja und Jahasiel aber beständig die Trompeten vor der Lade mit dem Gesetze Gottes erschallen ließen.

7 Damals, an jenem Tage, übertrug David Asaph und seinen Brüdern zuerst, das “Danket Jahwe!” zu singen.
In that dai Dauid made Asaph prince, and hise britheren, for to knowleche `to the Lord.
8 Danket Jahwe, ruft seinen Namen an! Macht unter den Völkern seine Thaten kund!
Knowleche ye to the Lord, and inwardli clepe ye his name; make ye hise fyndyngis knowun among puplis.
9 Singet ihm! Lobsinget ihm! Redet von allen seinen Wundern.
Synge ye to hym, and seie ye salm to hym, and telle ye alle his merueylis.
10 Rühmet euch seines heiligen Namens; es freue sich das Herz derer, die Jahwe suchen.
Preise ye his hooli name; the herte of men sekynge the Lord be glad.
11 Fragt nach Jahwe und seiner Stärke, sucht beständig sein Angesicht.
Seke ye the Lord and his vertu; seke ye euere his face.
12 Gedenkt seiner Wunder, die er gethan, seiner Zeichen und der Urteilssprüche seines Mundes,
Haue ye mynde of hise merueilis whiche he dide; of hise signes, and of the domes of his mouth.
13 Nachkommen Israels, seine Knechte Söhne Jakobs, seine Auserwählten!
The seed of Israel, his seruaunt, preise thou God; the sones of Jacob, his chosun, preise ye God.
14 Er, Jahwe, ist unser Gott; über die ganze Erde ergehen seine Gerichte.
He is `oure Lord God; hise domes ben in ech lond.
15 Gedenket ewig seines Bundes, des Wortes, das er verordnet hat, auf tausend Geschlechter,
Haue ye mynde with outen ende of his couenaunt; of the word whiche he couenauntide `in to a thousynde generaciouns.
16 des Bundes, den er mit Abraham geschlossen, und seines Schwurs an Isaak.
Which word he couenauntide with Abraham; and of his ooth to Ysaac.
17 Und er stellte ihn für Jakob als eine Satzung hin, als einen ewigen gültigen Bund für Israel, -
And he ordeynede that to Jacob in to a comaundement; and to Israel in to euerlastynge couenaunt.
18 indem er sprach: “Dir will ich das Land Kanaan verleihen als euer erbliches Besitztum!” -
And seide, To thee Y schal yyue the lond of Canaan; the part of youre erytage.
19 als ihr noch gering an Zahl wart, gar wenige, und als Fremdlinge darin weiltet.
Whanne thei weren fewe in noumbre; litle, and pilgrims therof.
20 Und sie zogen von Volk zu Volk und von einem Königreiche zu einer anderen Nation.
And thei passiden fro folk in to the folk; and fro a rewme to another puple.
21 Er gestattete niemandem, sie zu bedrücken, und strafte um ihretwillen Könige.
He suffride not ony man falseli chalenge hem; but he blamyde kyngis for hem.
22 “Tastet meine Gesalbten nicht anund thut meinen Propheten kein Leid!”
Nyle ye touche my cristis; and nyle ye do wickidli ayens my prophetis.
23 Singt Jahwe, alle Lande! Verkündet von einem Tag zum anderen sein Heil!
Al erthe, singe ye to the Lord; telle ye fro dai into dai his helthe.
24 Erzählt unter den Heiden seine Herrlichkeit, unter allen Völkern seine Wunder.
Telle ye among hethen men his glorie; hise merueylis among alle puplis.
25 Denn groß ist Jahwe und hoch zu loben und furchtbar ist er über alle Götter.
For the Lord is greet, and worthi to be preisid ful myche; and he is orible, `ethir griseful, ouer alle goddis.
26 Denn alle Götter der Völker sind Götzen, aber Jahwe hat den Himmel geschaffen.
For alle the goddis of puplis ben idols; but the Lord made heuenes.
27 Majestät und Hoheit sind vor seinem Angesicht, Stärke und Frohlocken an seinem Wohnsitz.
Knoulechyng and greet doyng ben bifor hym; strengthe and ioy ben in the place of hym.
28 Gebt Jahwe, ihr Völkergeschlechter, gebt Jahwe Herrlichkeit und Stärke!
Ye meynees of puplis, `bringe ye to the Lord; brynge ye to the Lord glorie and empire.
29 Gebt Jahwe die Herrlichkeit, die seinem Namen gebührt; bringt Gaben und kommt vor sein Angesicht. Werft euch nieder vor Jahwe in heiligem Schmuck,
Yyue ye glorie to his name, reise ye sacrifice, and come ye in his siyt; and worschipe ye the Lord in hooli fairnesse.
30 erzittert vor ihm, alle Lande; Auch hat er den Erdkreis gefestigt, daß er nicht wankt.
Al erthe be mouyd fro his face; for he foundide the world vnmouable.
31 Es freue sich der Himmel und die Erde frohlocke, und man spreche unter den Heiden: Jahwe ward König!
Heuenes be glad, and the erthe `ioy fulli; and seie thei among naciouns, The Lord schal regne.
32 Es brause das Meer und was es füllt; es jauchze das Gefilde und alles, was darauf ist.
The see thundre, and his fulnesse; the feeldis fulli ioye, and alle thingis that ben in tho.
33 Alsdann werden jubeln alle Bäume des Waldes vor Jahwe, denn er kommt, die Erde zu richten.
Thanne the trees of the forest schulen preyse bifor the Lord; for he cometh to deme the erthe.
34 Danket Jahwe, denn er ist gütig; denn ewig währt seine Gnade.
Knouleche ye to the Lord, for he is good; for his mersi is withouten ende.
35 Und sprecht: Hilf uns, o Gott, der du unsere Hilfe bist, und sammle und errette uns aus den Heiden, daß wir deinem heiligen Namen danken, uns deines Lobpreises rühmen!
And seie ye, Thou God oure sauyour, saue vs, and gadere vs, and delyuere vs fro hethen men; that we knowleche to thin hooli name, and be fulli glade in thi songis.
36 Gepriesen sei Jahwe, der Gott Israels, von Ewigkeit bis zu Ewigkeit. Und alles Volk sprach Amen! und einen Lobpreis Jahwes.
Blessid be the Lord God of Israel fro with oute bigynnyng and til `in to with outen ende; and al the puple seie, Amen, and seie heriyng to God.
37 Und er ließ Asaph und seine Brüder dort vor der Lade mit dem Gesetze Jahwes, damit sie beständig den Dienst vor der Lade verrichteten, so wie es ein jeder Tag erforderte,
Therfor Dauid lefte there, bifor the arke of boond of pees of the Lord, Asaph and hise britheren, for to mynystre in the siyt of the arke contynueli bi alle daies and her whilis.
38 Obed-Edom aber, den Sohn Jedithuns, und Hosa und ihre Brüder, 68 an der Zahl, als Thorhüter.
Forsothe he ordeynede porteris, Obededom and hise britheren, eiyte and sixti, and Obededom, the sone of Idithum, and Oza.
39 Den Priester Zadok aber und seine Brüder, die Priester, ließ er vor der Wohnung Jahwes auf der Opferhöhe zu Gibeon,
Sotheli `he ordeynede Sadoch preest, and hise britheren, preestis bifor the tabernacle of the Lord, in the hiy place that was in Gabaon,
40 damit sie Jahwe regelmäßig, am Morgen und am Abend, auf dem Brandopferaltare Brandopfer darbrächten und alle Vorschriften des Gesetzes Jahwes, das er Israel anbefohlen hat, erfüllten.
for to offre brent sacrifices to the Lord on the auter of brent sacrifice contynueli, in the morwetid and euentid, bi alle thingis that ben writun in the lawe of the Lord, which he comaundide to Israel.
41 Und mit ihnen waren Heman und Jeduthun und die übrigen Auserwählten, die namentlich bezeichnet waren, um Jahwe Dank zu sagen, daß seine Gnade ewig währe.
And aftir hym Dauyd ordeynede Eman, and Idithum, and other chosene, ech man bi his name, for to knowleche to the Lord; for his mercy is withouten ende.
42 Und mit ihnen waren Trompeten und Cymbeln für die Musiker und die Instrumente für die Gotteslieder; die Söhne Jeduthuns aber waren für das Thor.
Also he ordeynede Eman, and Idithum, trumpynge, and schakynge cymbalis, and alle orguns of musikis, for to synge to God; forsothe he made the sones of Idithum to be portours, `ether bereris.
43 Darauf ging jedermann im Volke heim. David aber wandte sich, um seine Familie zu begrüßen.
And al the puple turnede ayen in to her hows, and Dauid turnede ayen, to blesse also his hows.
