Offenbarung 5

1 Dann sah ich in der Rechten dessen, der auf dem Throne saß, eine Rolle, beschrieben innen und außen, mit sieben Siegeln versiegelt.

And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the back, close sealed with seven seals.

2 Auch sah ich einen gewaltigen Engel, der kündete mit lauter Stimme: "Wer ist würdig, die Rolle zu öffnen und ihre Siegel zu lösen?"

And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a great voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof?

3 Doch niemand war im Himmel noch auf Erden noch unterhalb der Erde, der es vermochte, die Rolle zu öffnen oder hineinzusehen.

And no one in the heaven, or on the earth, or under the earth, was able to open the book, or to look thereon.

4 Da weinte ich sehr, weil niemand würdig erfunden ward, die Rolle zu öffnen und hineinzusehen.

And I wept much, because no one was found worthy to open the book, or to look thereon:

5 Und einer aus den Ältesten sprach zu mir: "Weine nicht! Siehe, gesiegt hat der Löwe aus dem Stamme Juda, der Davidsprosse: Er wird die Rolle öffnen und ihre Siegel lösen."

and one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not; behold, the Lion that is of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath overcome to open the book and the seven seals thereof.

6 Da sah ich mitten vor dem Thron und den vier Lebewesen, inmitten jener Ältesten, ein Lamm dastehen wie geschlachtet. Es hatte sieben Hörner und sieben Augen; das sind die sieben Geister Gottes, die in alle Welt ausgesandt sind.

And I saw in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, a Lamb standing, as though it had been slain, having seven horns, and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God, sent forth into all the earth.

7 Es kam heran und empfing aus der Rechten dessen, der auf dem Throne saß.

And he came, and he taketh [it] out of the right hand of him that sat on the throne.

8 Als es die Rolle empfangen hatte, fielen die vier Lebewesen und die vierundzwanzig Ältesten vor dem Lamme nieder. Ein jeder hatte eine Harfe und goldene Schalen voll Weihrauch: das sind die Gebete der Heiligen.

And when he had taken the book, the four living creatures and the four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having each one a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.

9 Sie sangen ein neues Lied und sprachen: "Würdig bist Du, die Rolle zu empfangen und ihre Siegel zu lösen Du bist geschlachtet worden. Du hast uns losgekauft in Deinem Blute für Gott aus allen Stämmen, Sprachen, Völkern und Nationen.

And they sing a new song, saying, Worthy art thou to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and didst purchase unto God with thy blood [men] of every tribe, and tongue, and people, and nation,

10 Du hast sie zu einem Königtum und zu Priestern gemacht für unseren Gott, die auf der Erde herrschen sollen."

and madest them [to be] unto our God a kingdom and priests; and they reign upon the earth.

11 Ich hatte ein Gesicht: Ich hörte Stimmen vieler Engel rund um den Thron und um die Lebewesen und die Ältesten. Es war zehntausendmal zehntausend und tausendmal tausend ihre Zahl.

And I saw, and I heard a voice of many angels round about the throne and the living creatures and the elders; and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands;

12 Mit lauter Stimme riefen sie: "Würdig ist das Lamm, das geschlachtet ward, Macht, Reichtum, Weisheit, Kraft, Ehre, Herrlichkeit und Lobpreis zu empfangen."

saying with a great voice, Worthy is the Lamb that hath been slain to receive the power, and riches, and wisdom, and might, and honor, and glory, and blessing.

13 Und jedes Geschöpf, das im Himmel und auf der Erde, unterhalb der Erde und auf dem Meere ist, ja alles, was in ihnen ist, hörte ich also sprechen: "Dem, der auf dem Throne sitzt, und dem Lamme sei Lob und Ehre und Herrlichkeit und Macht von Ewigkeit zu Ewigkeiten." (aiōn g165)

And every created thing which is in the heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and on the sea, and all things that are in them, heard I saying, Unto him that sitteth on the throne, and unto the Lamb, [be] the blessing, and the honor, and the glory, and the dominion, for ever and ever. (aiōn g165)

14 Und die vier Lebewesen riefen. "Amen." Dann warfen sich die Ältesten anbetend nieder vor dem, der da lebt von Ewigkeit zu Ewigkeit.

And the four living creatures said, Amen. And the elders fell down and worshipped.
