Offenbarung 4
1 Dann hatte ich ein Gesicht: Siehe, im Himmel stand eine Tür offen und die Stimme, die ich wie eine Posaune vorhin mit mir hatte reden hören sprach:"Komm hier herauf; ich will dir zeigen, was hernach geschehen muß."
AFTER this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.
2 Sofort ward ich verzückt: Siehe, da stand ein Thron im Himmel, und auf dem Throne saß Einer.
And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.
3 Der dasaß, sah wie Jaspis und wie Sardis aus; ein Regenbogen erstrahlte rings um den Thron herum, der wie ein Smaragd aussah.
And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald.
4 Und vierundzwanzig andere Throne waren rund um den Thron, und auf den Thronen saßen vierundzwanzig Älteste mit weißen Kleidern angetan und goldenen Kränzen auf ihren Häuptern.
And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold.
5 Vom Throne gehen Blitze, Tosen, Donnerschläge aus. Sieben Fackeln brannten vor dem Throne; das sind die sieben Geister Gottes.
And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.
6 Dann war vor dem Throne noch etwas wie ein gläsernes Meer, ähnlich wie Kristall. Und mitten vor dem Thron und rund um den Thron herum waren vier lebendige Wesen voller Augen vorn und hinten.
And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind.
7 Das erste Wesen glich einem Löwen, das zweite Wesen glich einem Rind, das dritte Wesen hatte ein Antlitz wie ein Mensch, das vierte Wesen glich einem fliegenden Adler.
And the first beast was like a lion, and the second beast like a calf, and the third beast had a face as a man, and the fourth beast was like a flying eagle.
8 Jedes der vier Lebewesen hatte sechs Flügel, außen wie innen voller Augen; sie haben keine Ruhe Tag und Nacht; sie rufen: "Heilig, heilig, heilig ist Gott, der Herr, der Allbeherrscher, der war, der ist, der kommen wird."
And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come.
9 Und sooft die Lebewesen Ruhm und Ehre und Dank dem dargebracht hatten, der auf dem Throne saß, der von Ewigkeit zu Ewigkeiten lebt, (aiōn g165)
And when those beasts give glory and honour and thanks to him that sat on the throne, who liveth for ever and ever, (aiōn g165)
10 werfen sich die vierundzwanzig Ältesten vor dem, der auf dem Throne saß, zu Boden und beten den an, der lebt von Ewigkeit zu Ewigkeiten; sie legen ihre Kränze vor dem Throne nieder und rufen: (aiōn g165)
The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying, (aiōn g165)
11 "Würdig bist Du, unser Herr und Gott, Ruhm, Macht und Ehre zu empfangen; denn Du hast das All erschaffen, durch Deinen Willen wurde es und ist es entstanden."
Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.
