Offenbarung 14

1 Ich hatte ein Gesicht, und siehe, das Lamm stand auf dem Berge Sion und bei ihm hundertundvierundvierzigtausend, die seinen Namen und den Namen seines Vaters auf ihrer Stirne geschrieben trugen.

And I looked, and lo, the Lamb standing on the mount Zion, and with it a number, a hundred and forty-four thousand, having its name and the name of his Father, written on their foreheads.

2 Ich hörte eine Stimme aus dem Himmel, gleichwie das Tosen vieler Wasser und wie das Rollen gewaltiger Donner; die Stimme, die ich hörte, klang wie die von Harfenspielern, die ihre Harfen schlagen.

And I heard a sound from heaven as a sound of many waters, and as a sound of great thunder. And the voice that I heard was as of harpers harping with their harps.

3 Sie singen vor dem Thron und den vier Lebewesen und vor den Ältesten ein neues Lied. Ihr Lied vermochte niemand zu lernen, ausgenommen die hundertvierundvierzigtausend, die von der Erde erkauft sind.

And they sing a new song before the throne, and before the four living creatures and the elders. And none could learn the song except the hundred and forty-four thousand, those who have been redeemed from the earth.

4 Es sind die, die sich mit Weibern nicht befleckt haben; sie sind jungfräulich. Dem Lamme folgen sie, wohin es geht. Sie sind aus der Menschenwelt erkauft als Erstlinge für Gott und für das Lamm.

These are men who were not defiled with women, for they are virgins. These are those who follow the Lamb wherever he goes. These were purchased by Jesus, out of men, a first fruit to God and to the Lamb.

5 In ihrem Munde ward keine Lüge gefunden; sie sind untadelig vor Gottes Thron.

And no lie was found in their mouth, for they are unblemished.

6 Da sah ich einen anderen Engel hoch oben durch den Himmelsraum hinfliegen. Er hatte ein ewiges Evangelium, um es den Erdbewohnern zu verkünden, allen Völkern, Stämmen, Sprachen und Nationen. (aiōnios g166)

And I saw an agent flying in mid-heaven having eternal good news to proclaim to those who sit on the earth, and to every nation and tribe and tongue and people, (aiōnios g166)

7 Er rief mit lauter Stimme: "Fürchtet Gott und gebet ihm die Ehre! Gekommen ist die Stunde, da er richten wird. Betet den an, der Himmel, Erde, Meer und Wasserquellen erschaffen hat!"

saying in a great voice, Fear God, and give him glory, because the hour of his judgment has come. And worship him who made the heaven and the earth and the sea and springs of waters.

8 Ein anderer, zweiter Engel folgte mit dem Rufe: "Gefallen, gefallen ist Babylon, das große, das alle Völker mit dem Zornwein seiner Unzucht getränkt hat."

And another, a second agent, followed, saying, Babylon the great has fallen, has fallen. She has given all the nations to drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.

9 Ein weiterer, dritter Engel folgte ihnen. Er rief mit lauter Stimme: "Wer das Tier und dessen Bild anbetet und wer sein Zeichen an der Stirne oder an der Hand annimmt,

And another agent, a third, followed them, saying in a great voice, If any man worships the beast and its image, and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand,

10 der muß auch vom Zornwein Gottes trinken, der ungemischt im Becher seines Zornes bereitet ist; er wird gequält mit Feuer und mit Schwefel vor den heiligen Engeln und dem Lamme.

he also himself will drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which was mixed undiluted in the cup of his anger. And he will be tormented with fire and brimstone before the holy agents and before the Lamb.

11 Der Rauch von ihren Qualen wird aufsteigen von Ewigkeit zu Ewigkeiten. Bei Tag und Nacht werden die keine Ruhe haben, die das Tier und dessen Bild angebetet haben und wer das Zeichen seines Namens angenommen hat. (aiōn g165)

And the smoke of their torment ascends into the ages of ages. And they have no rest day and night, those who worship the beast and its image, and if any man receives the mark of its name. (aiōn g165)

12 Hier zeigt sich die Geduld der Heiligen, die an den Geboten Gottes und am Glauben an Jesus festhalten."

Here is the perseverance of the sanctified. Here are those who keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

13 Da hörte ich eine Stimme aus dem Himmel, die sprach: "Schreibe: Selig die Toten, die schon jetzt im Herrn sterben. Fürwahr, so spricht der Geist, sie sollen ruhen von ihren Mühen; denn ihre Werke folgen ihnen nach."

And I heard a voice from heaven saying to me, Write, Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from henceforth. Yea, says the Spirit, so that they may rest from their toils, and their works follow with them.

14 Ich hatte ein Gesicht, und siehe, es zeigte sich eine lichte Wolke, und auf der Wolke saß einer wie ein Menschensohn. Auf seinem Haupte trug er einen goldenen Kranz und eine scharfe Sichel in der Hand.

And I looked, and behold, a white cloud. And sitting upon the cloud, like a son of man, having a golden crown on his head and a sharp sickle in his hand.

15 Da kam ein anderer Engel aus dem Tempel her und rief mit lauter Stimme dem zu, der auf der Wolke saß: "Strecke deine Sichel aus und ernte! Gekommen ist die Stunde der Ernte; das Getreide auf der Erde ist überreif."

And another agent came out from the temple, crying out in a great voice to him who sits on the cloud, Send forth thy sickle and reap, because the hour has come to reap, because the harvest of the earth is ripe.

16 Da warf der, der auf der Wolke saß, die Sichel auf die Erde, und also ward die Erde abgeerntet.

And he who sits on the cloud cast his sickle upon the earth, and the earth was reaped.

17 Da ging ein anderer Engel vom Tempel im Himmel aus, gleichfalls mit einer scharfen Sichel.

And another agent came out from the temple in heaven, also himself having a sharp sickle.

18 Ein weiterer Engel ging vom Altare aus: Er hatte Gewalt über das Feuer. Mit lauter Stimme rief er dem mit der scharfen Sichel zu: "Strecke deine scharfe Sichel aus und schneide die Trauben vom Weinstock der Erde ab; denn seine Beeren sind reif!"

And another agent came out from the altar having power over the fire. And he cried out in a great shout to him who has the sharp sickle, saying, Send forth thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the grapevine of the earth, because its grapes are fully ripe.

19 Da warf der Engel seine Sichel auf die Erde und erntete den Weinstock der Erde ab und warf die Trauben in die Kelter des großen Zornes Gottes.

And the agent sent his sickle to the earth, and gathered the vintage of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.

20 Die Kelter wurde außerhalb der Stadt getreten, und Blut floß aus der Kelter bis an die Zügel der Pferde, etwa eintausendsechshundert Stadien weit.

And the winepress was trampled outside the city, and blood came out from the winepress, up to the bridles of the horses, as far as a thousand and six hundred furlongs.
