Psalm 22
1 Auf den Siegesspender bei der Morgenröte, ein Lied, von David. Mein Gott, mein Gott, was hast Du mich verlassen, und stehst so ferne meinen Angst- und Klagerufen?
To him that excelleth upon Aiieleth Hasshahar. A Psalme of Dauid. My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me, and art so farre from mine health, and from the wordes of my roaring?
2 Mein Gott, am Tag erhebe ich den Ruf, und Du erhörst mich nicht, und also in der Nacht; Stillschweigen ist mir nicht vergönnt.
O my God, I crie by day, but thou hearest not, and by night, but haue no audience.
3 Und doch bist Du der Heilige Israels, Du schrecklich Thronender.
But thou art holy, and doest inhabite the prayses of Israel.
4 Auf Dich vertrauten unsere Väter; sie hofften, und Du halfest ihnen.
Our fathers trusted in thee: they trusted, and thou didest deliuer them.
5 Sie schrieen auf zu Dir und fanden Rettung, und ihr Vertrauen auf Dich ward nicht getäuscht.
They called vpon thee, and were deliuered: they trusted in thee, and were not confounded.
6 Ich aber bin ein Wurm, kein Mann, der Leute Spott, verachtet von dem Pöbel.
But I am a worme, and not a man: a shame of men, and the contempt of the people.
7 Mich höhnt, wer mich nur sieht, verzieht den Mund und schüttelt mit dem Kopf.
All they that see me, haue me in derision: they make a mowe and nod the head, saying,
8 "Er freut sich an dem Herrn, der rette ihn! Der helfe ihm! Er ist sein Liebling."
He trusted in the Lord, let him deliuer him: let him saue him, seeing he loueth him.
9 Du halfst mir aus der Mutter Schoß; Du bargst mich an der Mutter Brust.
But thou didest draw me out of ye wombe: thou gauest me hope, euen at my mothers breasts.
10 Auf Dich bin ich vom Mutterschoß her angewiesen; vom Mutterleibe an bist Du mein Gott.
I was cast vpon thee, euen from ye wombe: thou art my God from my mothers belly.
11 Bleib mir nicht fern! Die Not ist nah, und niemand hilft.
Be not farre from me, because trouble is neere: for there is none to helpe me.
12 Der Farren viele stehen um mich her, und mich umringen Basanstiere.
Many yong bulles haue compassed me: mightie bulles of Bashan haue closed me about.
13 Sie sperren gegen mich die Rachen auf, wie Löwen, die vor Mordlust brüllen.
They gape vpon me with their mouthes, as a ramping and roaring lyon.
14 Wie Wasser bin ich hingegossen; all meine Glieder haben sich gelöst. Mein Herz ist mir wie Wachs geworden, in meinem Busen hingeschmolzen.
I am like water powred out, and all my bones are out of ioynt: mine heart is like waxe: it is molten in the middes of my bowels.
15 Vertrocknet ist wie Lehm mein Schlund; am Gaumen haftet mir die Zunge, und wie mit Todesfarbe überzieht es mich.
My strength is dryed vp like a potsheard, and my tongue cleaueth to my iawes, and thou hast brought me into the dust of death.
16 Denn Hunde haben mich umringt, der Frevler Rotte mich umgeben; sie machen Löcher mir an Händen und an Füßen.
For dogges haue compassed me, and the assemblie of the wicked haue inclosed me: they perced mine hands and my feete.
17 Ich spüre Pein in allen meinen Gliedern; sie schauen zu und weiden sich an mir.
I may tell all my bones: yet they beholde, and looke vpon me.
18 Sie teilen meine Kleider unter sich und werfen über mein Gewand das Los.
They part my garments among them, and cast lottes vpon my vesture.
19 Herr, sei nicht fern! Zu Hilfe, meine Stärke; schnell!
But be thou not farre off, O Lord, my strength: hasten to helpe me.
20 Errette vom Verderben meine Seele, aus der Gewalt der Hunde jetzt mein Leben!
Deliuer my soule from the sword: my desolate soule from the power of the dogge.
21 Entreiße mich der Löwen Rachen! Rett aus den Hörnern der Wildochsen mich!
Saue me from the lyons mouth, and answere me in sauing me from the hornes of the vnicornes.
22 Dann kündige ich meinen Brüdern Deinen Ruhm und preise Dich in der Gemeinde also:
I wil declare thy Name vnto my brethren: in the middes of the Congregation will I praise thee, saying,
23 "Die ihr den Herrn fürchtet, preiset ihn! Von Jakobs Stamm ihr alle, ehret ihn! Von Israels Geschlecht ihr alle, fürchtet ihn!
Prayse the Lord, ye that feare him: magnifie ye him, all the seede of Iaakob, and feare ye him, all the seede of Israel.
24 Denn er verachtet und verschmäht es nicht, den Armen zu erhören, verhüllt sein Antlitz nicht vor ihm, und wenn er zu ihm ruft, erhört er ihn."
For he hath not despised nor abhorred ye affliction of the poore: neither hath he hid his face from him, but when he called vnto him, he heard.
25 Dann trag ich meine Dankesschuld in großer Volksgemeinde ab; ich bringe dann gelobte Opfer dar vor denen, die ihn fürchten.
My prayse shalbe of thee in the great Congregation: my vowes will I perfourme before them that feare him.
26 Dann sollen satt die Armen werden, den Herrn rühmen, die ihn suchen: "Auflebe euer Herz für immer!"
The poore shall eate and be satisfied: they that seeke after the Lord, shall prayse him: your heart shall liue for euer.
27 Dann kehren sich zum Herrn die Erdenenden alle, und alle Heidenstämme beten vor Dir dann an, bedenkend,
All the endes of the worlde shall remember themselues, and turne to the Lord: and all the kinreds of the nations shall worship before thee.
28 daß nur dem Herrn das Königtum gebührt, und daß er auch den Heiden Herrscher ist.
For the kingdome is the Lords, and he ruleth among the nations.
29 Nur ihn allein beten auf Erden alle an. Ihm beugt sich, wer zur Grube fährt und dessen Seele nicht mehr lebenskräftig.
All they that be fat in the earth, shall eate and worship: all they that go downe into the dust, shall bowe before him, euen he that cannot quicken his owne soule.
30 Die Nachwelt derer, die ihm dienen, sie rühmt den Herrn dem kommenden Geschlecht,
Their seede shall serue him: it shalbe counted vnto the Lord for a generation.
31 und kündet einem nachgeborenen Volke seine Liebeund was er ihm getan.
They shall come, and shall declare his righteousnesse vnto a people that shall be borne, because he hath done it.
