Psalm 15

1 Ein Lied, von David. - Wer darf in Deinem Zelte wohnen, Herr? Wer darf auf Deinem heiligen Berge weilen?

A Psalme of Dauid. Lord, who shall dwell in thy Tabernacle? who shall rest in thine holy Mountaine?

2 Nur wer unsträflich wandelt, tut, was recht ist, von Herzen Wahrheit redet,

He that walketh vprightly and worketh righteousnes, and speaketh the trueth in his heart.

3 mit seiner Zunge nicht verleumdet, nichts Böses seinem Nächsten tut, nicht Schmach ob der Verwandten auf sich nimmt.

He that slandereth not with his tongue, nor doeth euill to his neighbour, nor receiueth a false report against his neighbour.

4 In dessen Blick ein hoffnungslos Verlorener verachtet ist, der Achtung hat vor denen, die den Herrn fürchten, zu seinem Schaden schwört und doch nicht ändert,

In whose eyes a vile person is contemned, but he honoureth them that feare the Lord: he that sweareth to his owne hinderance and changeth not.

5 wer nicht sein Geld auf Zinsen leiht und gegen Unschuld nicht Bestechung nimmt, wer ohne Schwanken also handelt. -

He that giueth not his money vnto vsurie, nor taketh reward against the innocent: hee that doeth these things, shall neuer be moued.
