Matthaeus 28
1 Als der Sabbat vorüber war, am ersten Wochentag beim Morgengrauen, kamen Maria Magdalena und die andere Maria, um nach dem Grabe zu sehen.
Now after the Sabbath, as it began to dawn on the first day of the week, Miriam from Magdala and the other Miriam came to see the tomb.
2 Und siehe, da entstand ein starkes Erdbeben; ein Engel des Herrn stieg vom Himmel nieder, trat hinzu, wälzte den Stein hinweg und setzte sich darauf.
And look, there was a great earthquake, for an angel of the Lord descended from the sky, and came and rolled away the stone, and sat on it.
3 Sein Anblick war wie ein Blitz und sein Gewand so weiß wie Schnee.
His appearance was like lightning, and his clothing white as snow.
4 Die Wächter erzitterten aus Furcht vor ihm und wurden leichenblaß.
For fear of him, the guards shook, and became like dead men.
5 Der Engel aber redete die Frauen also an: "Habt keine Furcht. Ich weiß, ihr suchet Jesus, den Gekreuzigten.
The angel answered the women, "Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Yeshua, who has been crucified.
6 Er ist nicht hier; er ist auferstanden, so wie er es gesagt hat. Kommt her und schaut den Ort, wo der Herr gelegen ist.
He is not here, for he has risen, just like he said. Come, see the place where he was lying.
7 Geht schnell weg und sagt seinen Jüngern, daß er von den Toten auferstanden ist. Seht, ich habe es euch gesagt."
Go quickly and tell his talmidim, 'He has risen from the dead, and look, he goes before you into Galil; there you will see him.' See, I have told you."
8 Schnell gingen sie vom Grabe weg mit Furcht und doch zugleich mit großer Freude und eilten, diese Botschaft seinen Jüngern zu verkünden.
They departed quickly from the tomb, frightened yet with great joy, and ran to bring his talmidim word.
9 Und siehe, Jesus trat ihnen in den Weg und sprach: "Seid gegrüßt." Sie traten zu ihm hin, umfaßten seine Füße und beteten ihn an.
And look, Yeshua met them, saying, "Rejoice!" And they came and took hold of his feet, and worshiped him.
10 Darauf sprach Jesus zu ihnen: "Habt keine Furcht. Geht hin und kündet meinen Brüdern, sie sollen nach Galiläa gehen, dort werden sie mich sehen."
Then Yeshua said to them, "Do not be afraid. Go tell my brothers that they should go into Galil, and there they will see me."
11 Sie gingen weiter. Da kamen einige von der Wache in die Stadt und meldeten den Oberpriestern alles, was geschehen war.
Now while they were going, look, some of the guards came into the city, and told the chief cohanim all the things that had happened.
12 Diese kamen mit den Ältesten zusammen und faßten den Beschluß, den Soldaten reichlich Geld zu geben
When they were assembled with the elders, and had taken counsel, they gave a large amount of silver to the soldiers,
13 und den Auftrag: "Sagt aus: 'Seine Jünger sind nachts gekommen und haben ihn gestohlen, als wir schliefen.'
saying, "Say that his talmidim came by night, and stole him away while we slept.
14 Wenn dies dem Statthalter zu Ohren kommen sollte, so werden wir ihn schon beschwichtigen und euch jede Sorge abnehmen."
If this comes to the governor's ears, we will persuade him and make you free of worry."
15 Diese nahmen das Geld und taten, wie sie angeleitet worden waren. Und dieses Gerede hat sich bei den Juden bis auf den heutigen Tag erhalten.
So they took the money and did as they were told. This saying was spread abroad among the Jewish people, and continues until this day.
16 Die elf Jünger aber begaben sich nach Galiläa auf den Berg, wohin sie Jesus befohlen hatte.
But the eleven talmidim went into Galil, to the mountain where Yeshua had sent them.
17 Als sie ihn sahen, beteten sie ihn an; andere aber waren noch im Zweifel.
When they saw him, they bowed down to him, but some doubted.
18 Darauf trat Jesus her und sprach zu ihnen: "Mir ist alle Gewalt gegeben im Himmel und auf Erden.
Yeshua came to them and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth.
19 Darum gehet hin und lehret alle Völker: Tauft sie im Namen des Vaters und des Sohnes und des heiligen Geistes
Therefore go, and make talmidim of all nations, immersing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Ruach ha-Kodesh,
