Markus 11
1 Sie kamen in die Nähe von Jerusalem, nach Bethphage und nach Bethanien am Ölberg. Er sandte zwei von seinen Jüngern
And, when they are drawing near unto Jerusalem, unto Bethphage and Bethany, towards the Mount of Olives, he sendeth forth two of his disciples, —
2 mit dem Auftrag fort: "Geht in das Dorf, das vor euch liegt. Gleich am Eingang findet ihr ein Füllen angebunden, auf dem noch niemals jemand saß. Löst es los und bringt es her!
and saith unto them—Go your way into the village that is over against you, and, straightway, as ye are entering it, ye shall find a colt tied, upon which, no, man, yet, hath sat: loose him, and bring him.
3 Und sollte jemand zu euch sagen: 'Was macht ihr da?' dann sagt: 'Der Herr braucht es. Er schickt es gleich wieder zurück."'
And, if anyone unto you should say—Why are ye doing this? say—The Lord, of him hath need; and, straightway, he sendeth him off again here.
4 Sie gingen weg und fanden am Hoftor ein Füllen angebunden, außen nach der Straße zu. Sie lösten es los.
And they departed, and found a colt, tied unto a door outside, on the street, —and they are loosing him.
5 Und einige von denen, die dort standen, fragten sie: "Was macht ihr da; ihr bindet ja das Füllen los?"
And, certain of them that were there standing, were saying unto them—What are ye doing, loosing the colt?
6 Doch sie erwiderten, wie Jesus ihnen aufgetragen hatte. Da ließ man sie gewähren.
and they said unto them as, Jesus, said, —and they let them go.
7 Sie brachten das Füllen zu Jesus, legten ihre Kleider darauf, und er setzte sich darauf.
And they bring the colt unto Jesus, and throw upon him their mantles, —and he took his seat upon him.
8 Und viele breiteten ihre Kleider auf den Weg, andere als Büschel das, was sie auf den Feldern abgeschnitten hatten.
And, many, spread out, their mantles, along the way, and, others, young branches, —cutting them out of the fields.
9 Die vor und hinter ihm einhergingen, riefen: "Hosanna! Gepriesen sei, der im Namen des Herrn kommt!
And, they who were going before, and they who were following after, were crying aloud—Hosanna! Blessed, is he that is coming in the name of the Lord!
10 Gepriesen sei das Reich unseres Vaters David, das jetzt erscheint. Hosanna in der Höhe!"
Blessed, is the coming kingdom of our father David! Hosanna in the highest!
11 So zog er nach Jerusalem hinein in den Tempel. Er schaute alles ringsum an und ging nach Bethanien mit den Zwölfen, weil es schon spät war.
And he entered into Jerusalem, into the temple, and, looking round on all things, late already being the hour, he went out into Bethany, with the twelve.
12 Als sie des anderen Tages wieder von Bethanien weggingen, empfand er Hunger.
And, on the morrow, when they came forth from Bethany, he hungered;
13 Von weitem sah er einen Feigenbaum, voll mit Blättern, ging auf ihn zu, ob er nicht etwas an ihm fände. Doch wie er hinkam, fand er nichts als Blätter; es war nämlich noch nicht Feigenzeit.
and, seeing a fig-tree from afar, having leaves, he came… if, therefore, he should find aught in it, and, coming up to it, nothing, found he, save, leaves; for it was not, the season, of figs.
14 Er aber sprach zu ihm: "Nie mehr, in Ewigkeit nicht, soll jemand von dir Frucht essen." Und seine Jünger hörten das. (aiōn g165)
And, answering, he said unto it—No more, unto times age-abiding, let anyone of thee, eat fruit. And his disciples were listening. (aiōn g165)
15 Sie kamen nach Jerusalem. Da ging er in den Tempel und machte sich daran, die Käufer und Verkäufer aus dem Tempel auszutreiben. Die Tische der Wechsler und die Bänke der Taubenhändler stieß er um
And they come into Jerusalem. And, entering into the temple, he began to be casting out them who were selling and them who were buying in the temple, and, the tables of the money-changers, and the seats of them who were selling doves, he overthrew, —
16 und ließ es nicht geschehen, daß jemand ein Gefäß durch den Tempel trage.
and was not suffering that anyone should carry a vessel through the temple;
17 Und er belehrte sie und sprach: "Steht denn nicht geschrieben: 'Mein Haus soll ein Bethaus heißen für alle Völker, doch ihr habt eine Räuberhöhle daraus gemacht."'
and was teaching, and saying—Is it not written, My house, a house of prayer, shall be called, for all the nations? but, ye, have made it, A den of robbers.
18 Als dies die Oberpriester und die Schriftgelehrten hörten, suchten sie, wie sie ihn verderben könnten. Sie fürchteten ihn nämlich; es war ja alles Volk von seiner Lehre überwältigt.
And the High-priests and the Scribes, heard, it, and began seeking how they might, destroy, him, —for they were fearing him; for, all the multitude, were being struck with astonishment at his teaching.
19 Als es dann Abend wurde, entfernten sie sich aus der Stadt.
And, as soon as it became late, they were going forth outside the city.
20 Als sie des anderen Morgens an dem Feigenbaum vorübergingen, da sahen sie, daß er von der Wurzel an ganz verdorrt war.
And, passing by early, they saw the fig-tree, withered from its roots;
21 Da erinnerte sich Petrus und sprach zu ihm: "Rabbi, sieh, der Feigenbaum, den du verflucht hast, ist ganz verdorrt."
and, put in mind, Peter saith unto him—Rabbi! see! the fig-tree which thou didst curse, is withered.
22 Und Jesus sprach zu ihnen: "Habt Glauben an Gott!
And, answering, Jesus saith unto them—Have faith in God.
23 Wahrlich, ich sage euch: Wenn einer zu dem Berg da spräche: 'Hebe dich hinweg und stürze dich ins Meer!' und er in seinem Innern nicht zweifelt, vielmehr glaubt, daß, was er sagt, geschehen wird, er wird es zustande bringen.
Verily, I say unto you—Whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be lifted up, and cast into the sea, and shall not doubt in his heart but shall believe that, what he speaketh, cometh to pass, it shall be his.
24 So sage ich euch denn: Um was ihr immer im Gebete bittet, glaubt nur, daß ihr es schon habt; dann wird es euch zuteil werden.
For this cause, I say unto you—All things, whatsoever ye are praying for and asking, believe that ye have received, and they shall be yours.
25 Und steht ihr zum Beten da, verzeiht, wenn ihr gegen jemand etwas habt, damit auch euer Vater in den Himmeln euch eure Sünden vergeben möge.
And, when ye stand praying, forgive, if aught ye have against any, —that, your Father also, who is in the heavens, may forgive you your offences.
26 Wenn aber ihr nicht verzeiht, wird auch mein Vater, der in den Himmeln ist, euch eure Sünden nicht verzeihen."
27 Sie kamen wieder nach Jerusalem. Und während er im Tempel hin und her ging, näherten sich ihm die Oberpriester und die Schriftgelehrten sowie die Ältesten
And they come again into Jerusalem. And, as he is walking in the temple, the High-priests and the Scribes and the Elders come unto him,
28 und fragten ihn: "Mit welcher Vollmacht tust du das? Wer hat dir das Recht gegeben, dies zu tun?"
and were saying unto him—By what authority, these things, art thou doing? And who to thee hath given this authority that, these things, thou shouldst be doing?
29 Doch Jesus sprach zu ihnen: "Auch ich will euch nach etwas fragen; gebt ihr mir Antwort, dann will auch ich euch sagen, mit welcher Vollmacht ich dies tue.
But, Jesus, said unto them—I will question you, as to one matter, and answer me, —and I will tell you, by what authority, these things, I am doing:
30 Kam die Johannestaufe vom Himmel oder von den Menschen? Gebt mir Antwort!"
The immersion by John, Of heaven, was it, or, of men? Answer me!
31 Da überlegten sie miteinander und sprachen: "Sagen wir 'vom Himmel', so wird er fragen: 'Warum habt ihr ihm dann nicht geglaubt?'
And they were deliberating among themselves, saying—If we say, Of heaven, he will say, Wherefore [then] did ye not believe him?
32 Oder sollen wir sagen: 'Von Menschen?'" Doch dazu fürchteten sie das Volk; denn alle hielten den Johannes für einen wirklichen Propheten.
But, should we say, Of men…, they were in fear of the multitude, for, one and all, were holding John, in very deed, that he was, a prophet.
33 Und so erwiderten sie Jesu: "Wir wissen es nicht." Darauf erwiderte ihnen Jesus: "Dann sage auch ich nicht, mit welcher Vollmacht ich dies tue."
And, making answer unto Jesus, they say—We know not; and Jesus saith unto them—Neither do, I, tell you, by what authority, these things, I am doing.
