3 Mose 9

1 Am achten Tage berief Moses Aaron und seine Söhne sowie Israels Älteste.

It happened on the eighth day, that Moses called Aaron and his sons, and the elders of Israel;

2 Er sprach zu Aaron: "Nimm dir ein junges Kalb zum Sündopfer und einen Widder zum Brandopfer, beide fehlerlos, und bringe sie vor dem Herrn dar!

and he said to Aaron, "Take a calf from the herd for a sin offering, and a ram for a burnt offering, without blemish, and offer them before the LORD.

3 Und zu den Söhnen Israels sollst du folgendes sprechen: 'Holt einen Ziegenbock für das Sündopfer! Ein Kalb und ein Schaf, beide noch nicht jährig und fehlerlos, für das Brandopfer,

You shall speak to the children of Israel, saying, 'Take a male goat for a sin offering; and a calf and a lamb, both a year old, without blemish, for a burnt offering;

4 und ein Rind mit einem Widder für das Dankopf er, zur Schlachtung vor dem Herrn, und ein mit Öl bereitetes Speiseopfer! Denn heute erscheint euch der Herr.'"

and a bull and a ram for peace offerings, to sacrifice before the LORD; and a meal offering mixed with oil: for today the LORD appears to you.'"

5 Sie holten nun, was Moses verlangt hatte, zum Festgezelt, und die ganze Gemeinschaft kam und trat vor den Herrn.

They brought what Moses commanded before the Tent of Meeting: and all the congregation drew near and stood before the LORD.

6 Da sprach Moses: "Was euch der Herr befiehlt, sollt ihr tun, daß euch des Herrn Herrlichkeit erscheine!"

Moses said, "This is the thing which the LORD commanded that you should do: and the glory of the LORD shall appear to you."

7 Und Moses sprach zu Aaron: "Tritt an den Altar! Besorge dein Sünd- und Brandopfer und schaffe für dich und für das Volk Sühne! Dann besorge des Volkes Opfergabe und schaffe ihnen Sühne, wie der Herr befohlen hat!"

Moses said to Aaron, "Draw near to the altar, and offer your sin offering, and your burnt offering, and make atonement for yourself, and for the people; and offer the offering of the people, and make atonement for them; as the LORD commanded."

8 Und Aaron trat an den Altar und schlachtete das Sündopferkalb für sich selbst.

So Aaron drew near to the altar, and killed the calf of the sin offering, which was for himself.

9 Und Aarons Söhne reichten ihm das Blut. Er tauchte seinen Finger ins Blut und tat es an die Altarhörner. Das übrige Blut aber hatte er an den Altarsockel gegossen.

The sons of Aaron presented the blood to him; and he dipped his finger in the blood, and put it on the horns of the altar, and poured out the blood at the base of the altar:

10 Das Fett, die Nieren, die Leberlappen vom Sündopfer hatte er auf dem Altar aufdampfen lassen, wie der Herr dem Moses geboten.

but the fat, and the kidneys, and the cover from the liver of the sin offering, he burned upon the altar; as the LORD commanded Moses.

11 Das Fleisch aber und die Haut hatte er außerhalb des Lagers verbrennen lassen.

The flesh and the skin he burned with fire outside the camp.

12 Dann schlachtete er das Brandopfer. Die Aaronssöhne reichten ihm das Blut, und er sprengte es ringsum an den Altar.

He killed the burnt offering; and Aaron's sons delivered the blood to him, and he sprinkled it around on the altar.

13 Das Brandopfer reichten sie ihm in Stücken samt dem Kopfe. Er ließ es auf dem Altar aufdampfen.

They delivered the burnt offering to him, piece by piece, and the head: and he burned them upon the altar.

14 Die Eingeweide und die Beine wusch er mit Wasser und ließ sie zu dem Brandopfer hin auf dem Altar aufdampfen.

He washed the entrails and the legs, and burned them on the burnt offering on the altar.

15 Dann brachte er das Opfer des Volkes dar. Er nahm den Sündopferbock, der für das Volk war, schlachtete ihn und brachte ihn als Sündopfer dar wie den ersten.

He presented the people's offering, and took the goat of the sin offering which was for the people, and killed it, and offered it for sin, like the first.

16 Dann brachte er das Brandopfer dar und machte es nach Vorschrift.

He presented the burnt offering, and offered it according to the ordinance.

17 Hierauf brachte er das Speiseopfer dar. Er nahm davon eine Handvoll und ließ es auf dem Altar aufdampfen, außer dem Morgenbrandopfer.

He presented the meal offering, and filled his hand from there, and burned it upon the altar, besides the burnt offering of the morning.

18 Dann schlachtete er das Rind und den Widder als Dankopfer für das Volk. Die Aaronssöhne reichten ihm das Blut, und er sprengte es ringsum an den Altar.

He also killed the bull and the ram, the sacrifice of peace offerings, which was for the people: and Aaron's sons delivered to him the blood, which he sprinkled around on the altar,

19 Des Rindes Fettstücke und die des Widders, den Fettschwanz, die Decke, die Nieren und den Leberlappen,

and the fat of the bull and of the ram, the fat tail, and that which covers the entrails, and the kidneys, and the cover of the liver:

20 die Fettstücke legten sie auf die Bruststücke. Dann ließ er die Fettstücke auf dem Altar aufdampfen.

and they put the fat upon the breasts, and he burned the fat on the altar:

21 Die Bruststücke aber und die rechte Keule brachte Aaron als Abgabe vor dem Herrn dar, wie es Moses befohlen hatte.

and the breasts and the right thigh Aaron waved for a wave offering before the LORD, as Moses commanded.

22 Dann streckte Aaron die Hand über das Volk und segnete es. Nach Vollzug des Sünd-, des Brand- und des Dankopfers stieg er herab.

Aaron lifted up his hands toward the people, and blessed them; and he came down from offering the sin offering, and the burnt offering, and the peace offerings.

23 Moses und Aaron traten nun ins Festgezelt. Dann gingen sie hinaus und segneten das Volk. Da erschien des Herrn Majestät dem ganzen Volk.

Moses and Aaron went into the Tent of Meeting, and came out, and blessed the people: and the glory of the LORD appeared to all the people.

24 Feuer aber ging vom Herrn aus und verzehrte auf dem Altar das Brandopfer und die Fettstücke. Alles Volk sah es. Sie jubelten und fielen dabei auf ihr Angesicht.

There came forth fire from before the LORD, and consumed the burnt offering and the fat upon the altar: and when all the people saw it, they shouted, and fell on their faces.
