3 Mose 25
1 Der Herr aber hatte zu Moses auf dem Berge Sinai also gesprochen:
And the Lord spoke to Moses in mount Sinai, saying:
2 "Rede mit den Söhnen Israels und sprich zu ihnen: 'Wenn ihr in das Land kommt, das ich euch gebe, so halte das Land für den Herrn eine Ruhezeit!
Speak to the children of Israel, and thou shalt say to them: When you shall have entered into the land which I will give you, observe the rest of the sabbath to the Lord.
3 Sechs Jahre sollst du dein Feld besäen! Sechs Jahre sollst du deinen Weinberg beschneiden, dann heimse seine Ernte!
Six years thou shalt sow thy field and six years thou shalt prune thy vineyard, and shalt gather the fruits thereof:
4 Im siebten Jahre aber soll das Land volle Ruhe haben, als Ruhezeit für den Herrn! Du darfst dein Feld nicht besäen, noch deine Weinberge beschneiden!
But in the seventh year there shall be a sabbath to the land, of the resting of the Lord: thou shalt not sow thy field, nor prune thy vineyard.
5 Den Nachwuchs deiner Ernte sollst du nicht beschneiden! Die Trauben deines unbeschnittenen Weinstocks sollst du nicht lesen. Ein Ruhejahr soll es für das Land sein.
What the ground shall bring forth of itself, thou shalt not reap: neither shalt thou gather the grapes of the firstfruits as a vintage: for it is a year of rest to the land:
6 Während eurer Bodenruhe diene zur Nahrung dir, deinem Knechte, deiner Magd, deinem Lohnarbeiter, deinem Beisaß unter deinem Schutze,
But they shall be unto you for meat, to thee and to thy manservant, to thy maidservant and thy hireling, and to the strangers that sojourn with thee:
7 deinem Vieh und dem Wilde in deinem Lande all sein Ertrag.
All things that grow shall be meat to thy beasts and to thy cattle.
8 Zähle dir sieben Jahrwochen ab, siebenmal sieben Jahre! So seien dir die Tage der sieben Jahrwochen neunundvierzig Jahre!
Thou shalt also number to thee seven weeks of years, that is to say, seven times seven, which together make forty-nine years:
9 Dann laß im siebten Mond das Lärmhorn erschallen, am zehnten Tage des Monats! Am Sühnetage sollt ihr in eurem Lande das Horn ertönen lassen!
And thou shalt sound the trumpet in the seventh month, the tenth day of the month, in the time of the expiation in all your land.
10 Heiligt das fünfzigste Jahr und ruft Freiheit im Land für alle seine Insassen aus! Jubeljahr sei es euch! Da kehrt ein jeder zu seinem Besitz und jeder zu seiner Sippe zurück!
And thou shalt sanctify the fiftieth year, and shalt proclaim remission to all the inhabitants of thy land: for it is the year of jubilee. Every man shall return to his possession, and every one shall go back to his former family:
11 Jubeljahr sei euch das fünfzigste Jahr! Nicht säen dürft ihr noch den Nachwuchs einernten und nicht von unbeschnittenen Traubenstöcken lesen!
Because it is the jubilee and the fiftieth year. You shall not sow, nor reap the things that grow in the field of their own accord, neither shall you gather the firstfruits of the vines,
12 Ein Jubeljahr soll euch heilig sein! Vom Felde weg sollt ihr seinen Ertrag verzehren!
Because of the sanctification of the jubilee: but as they grow you shall presently eat them.
13 In diesem Jubeljahr kommt ihr jeder wieder zu seinem Besitz.
In the year of the jubilee all shall return to their possessions.
14 Verkauft ihr etwas einem Angehörigen eures Volkes oder kauft ihr es von einem solchen, so plage keiner den anderen!
When thou shalt sell any thing to thy neighbour, or shalt buy of him; grieve not thy brother: but thou shalt buy of him according to the number of years from the jubilee.
15 Nach der Zahl der Jahre nach dem Jubeljahr sollst du den Angehörigen deines Volkes abkaufen! Nach der Zahl der Erntejahre soll er dir verkaufen!
And he shall sell to thee according to the computation of the fruits.
16 Für eine größere Zahl von Jahren sollst du einen höheren Kaufpreis zahlen und einen kleineren für eine kleinere Zahl von Jahren! Wenn er dir eine Anzahl Ernten verkauft,
The more years remain after the jubilee, the more shall the price increase: and the less time is counted, so much the less shall the purchase cost. For he shall sell to thee the time of the fruits.
17 dann sollt ihr nicht einander plagen, einer den anderen Angehörigen seines Volkes! Fürchte dich vor deinem Gott! Denn ich, der Herr, bin euer Gott.
Do not afflict your countrymen, but let every one fear his God: because I am the Lord your God.
18 Tut meine Vorschriften! Meine Satzungen sollt ihr wahren! Erfüllt sie! Dann wohnet ihr im Lande sicher.
Do my precepts, and keep my judgments, and fulfill them: that you may dwell in the land without any fear,
19 Und dann gibt das Land seine Frucht. Satt könnt ihr euch essen und sicher darin siedeln.
And the ground may yield you its fruits, of which you may eat your fill, fearing no mall’s invasion.
20 Und sprächet ihr: "Was sollen wir im siebten Jahre essen? Wir dürfen ja nicht säen und keinen Vorrat sammeln",
But if you say: What shall we eat the seventh year, if we sow not, nor gather our fruits?
21 so entbiete ich im sechsten Jahre meinen Segen für euch, daß es für drei Jahre Ertrag gibt.
I will give you my blessing the sixth year, and it shall yield the fruits of three years:
22 Sät ihr im achten Jahr, so könnt ihr noch Altes vom Ertrag genießen. Bis zum neunten Jahre, bis seine Ernte kommt, könnt ihr Altes essen.
And the eighth year you shall sow, and shall eat of the old fruits, until the ninth year: till new grow up, you shall eat the old store.
23 Nicht soll das Land endgültig verkauft werden! Denn mein ist das Land. Ihr seid nur Gäste und Beisassen bei mir.
The land also shall not be sold for ever: because it is mine, and you are strangers and sojourners with me.
24 Ihr sollt überall in eurem eigenen Lande Wiedereinlösung für das Land gestatten
For which cause all the country of your possession shall be under the condition of redemption.
25 Verarmt dein Bruder und verkauft von seinem Besitz, so gehe sein nächster Verwandter zu ihm als Löser und löse den Verkauf seines Bruders aus!
If thy brother being impoverished sell his little possession, and his kinsman will, he may redeem what he had sold.
26 Hat jemand keinen Löser, aber ist er zur Wiedereinlösung vermöglich,
But if he have no kinsman, and he himself can find the price to redeem it:
27 so bringe er die Jahre seit dem Verkauf in Anrechnung! Was darüber ist, erstatte er seinem Käufer, damit er wieder zu seinem Besitz komme!
The value of the fruits shall be counted from that time when he sold it: and the overplus he shall restore to the buyer, and so shall receive his possession again.
28 Ist er aber zur Rückerstattung unvermögend, dann bleibe sein Verkauf im Besitz des Käufers bis zum Jubeljahr! Im Jubeljahr aber falle es heim, daß er wieder zu seinem Besitz kommt!
But if his hands find not the means to repay the price, the buyer shall have what he bought, until the year of the jubilee. For in that year all that is sold shall return to the owner, and to the ancient possessor.
29 Verkauft jemand in einer ummauerten Stadt ein Wohnhaus, so währe sein Einlösungsrecht bis zum Tage des Jahres seines Verkaufes! Sein Einlösungsrecht soll auf den Tag währen!
He that selleth a house within the walls of a city, shall have the liberty to redeem it, until one year be expired:
30 Wird es aber bis zum Ablauf eines vollen Jahres nicht eingelöst, dann verfalle das Haus in der Stadt mit Mauern endgültig seinem Käufer und seinen Nachkommen! Im Jubeljahr fällt es nicht heim.
If he redeem it not, and the whole year be fully out, the buyer shall possess it, and his posterity for ever, and it cannot be redeemed, not even in the jubilee.
31 Die Häuser in Dörfern ohne Ringmauern sind zum Ackerfelde zu rechnen. Für sie gibt es ein Einlösungsrecht; sie fallen im Jubeljahre heim.
But if the house be in a village, that hath no walls, it shall be sold according to the same law as the fields: if it be not redeemed before, in the jubilee it shall return to the owner.
32 Bei den Levitenhäusern, bei ihren eigenen Häusern in den Städten, gibt es stets ein Einlösungsrecht.
The houses of Levites, which are in cities, may always be redeemed:
33 Wer von den Leviten nicht einlösen kann, dessen verkauftes Haus falle in der eigenen Stadt im Jubeljahr zurück. Denn der Levitenstädte Häuser sind ihr Eigentum inmitten der Söhne Israels.
If they be not redeemed, in the jubilee they shall all return to the owners, because the houses of the cities of the Levites are for their possessions among the children of Israel.
34 Aber ihrer Städte Weideland darf nicht verkauft werden. Für alle Zeit gehört es ihnen.
But let not their suburbs be sold, because it is a perpetual possession.
35 Verarmt dein Bruder, zittert seine Hand neben dir, dann halte ihn fest! Als Gast und Beisasse, so lebe er bei dir!
If thy brother be impoverished, and weak of hand, and thou receive him as a stranger and sojourner, and he live with thee,
36 Nimm keinen Wucherzins von ihm! Fürchte deinen Gott! Dein Bruder lebe neben dir!
Take not usury of him nor more than thou gavest: fear thy God, that thy brother may live with thee.
37 Du sollst ihm dein Geld nicht gegen Zins geben und nicht um Zinsen deine Speise.
Thou shalt not give him thy money upon usury, nor exact of him any increase of fruits.
38 Ich, der Herr, bin euer Gott, der aus Ägypterland euch geführt, euch das Land von Kanaan zu geben und euch Gott zu sein.
I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, that I might give you the land of Chanaan, and might be your God.
39 Verarmt dein Bruder neben dir und verkauft er sich dir, so sollst du ihn keine Sklavendienste tun lassen!
If thy brother constrained by poverty, sell himself to thee, thou shalt not oppress him with the service of bondservants:
40 Er soll bei dir wie ein Lohnarbeiter sein, ein Beisasse! Er soll bei dir bis zum Jubeljahr dienen!
But he shall be as a hireling, and a sojourner: he shall work with thee until the year of the jubilee,
41 Dann verlasse er samt seinen Söhnen dich und kehre zu seiner Sippe! Zum Besitz seiner Väter kehre er wieder!
And afterwards he shall go out with his children, and shall return to his kindred and to the possession of his fathers,
42 Sie sind ja meine Knechte, die ich aus Ägypterland geführt. Sie dürfen nicht wie Sklaven verkauft werden.
For they are my servants, and I brought them out of the land of Egypt: let them not be sold as bondmen:
43 Du sollst nicht mit Härte über ihn herrschen! Fürchte dich vor deinem Gott!
Afflict him not by might, but fear thy God.
44 Dein Sklave und deine Sklavin, die dein sind: von den Heidenvölkern rings um euch rnöget ihr Sklaven und Sklavinnen erwerben.
Let your bondmen, and your bondwomen, be of the nations that are round about you.
45 Auch von den Kindern der Beisassen neben euch möget ihr kaufen sowie aus ihrer Sippe bei euch. Die sie in eurem Land gezeugt, sie mögen euer Besitz werden.
And of the strangers that sojourn among you, or that were born of them in your land, these you shall have for servants:
46 Vererbet sie nach euch auf eure Söhne als ihren Besitz! Ihr möget sie dauernd zu Sklaven haben. Aber über eure israelitischen Brüder dürft ihr gegenseitig nicht mit Härte walten.
And by right of inheritance shall leave them to your posterity, and shall possess them for ever. But oppress not your brethren the children of Israel by might.
47 Kommt bei dir ein Fremder oder Beisaß zu Besitz, dein Bruder aber wird neben ihm arm und verkauft sich einem Beisassen bei dir oder einem Abkömmling aus des Fremdlings Sippe,
If the hand of a stranger or a sojourner grow strong among you, and thy brother being impoverished sell himself to him, or to any of his race:
48 so gibt es nach seinem Verkauf für ihn Auslösung. Einer seiner Brüder soll ihn lösen,
After the sale he may be redeemed. He that will of his brethren shall redeem him:
49 oder sein Oheim oder seines Oheims Sohn, oder einer seiner nächsten Blutsverwandten seiner Sippe, oder reicht sein Vermögen zu, so löse er sich aus!
Either his uncle, or his uncle’s son, or his kinsman, by blood, or by affinity. But if he himself be able also, he shall redeem himself,
50 Er rechne mit seinem Käufer die Zeit vom Jahre seines Verkaufs bis zum Jubeljahr! Der Preis seines Verkaufs sei nach der Jahre Zahl! Wie ein Lohnarbeiter soll er eine bestimmte Zeit bei ihm sein!
Counting only the years from the time of his selling unto the year of the jubilee: and counting the money that he was sold for, according to the number of the years and the reckoning of a hired servant,
51 Sind es noch viele der Jahre, dann soll er dementsprechend seine Lösungssumme von seinem Kaufgeld erstatten!
If there be many years that remain until the jubilee, according to them shall he also repay the price.
52 Fehlen aber nur wenige Jahre bis zum Jubeljahr, so berechne er sie ihm! Nach seinen Jahren soll er seine Lösungssumme erstatten!
If few, he shall make the reckoning with him according to the number of the years, and shall repay to the buyer of what remaineth of the years,
53 Gleich dem, der Jahr für Jahr um Lohn arbeitet, soll er neben ihm sein! Er soll aber nicht mit Härte über ihn walten vor deinen Augen!
His wages being allowed for which he served before: he shall not afflict him violently in thy sight.
54 Wird er nicht auf diese Weise ausgelöst, dann gehe er im Jubeljahr samt seinen Söhnen frei aus!
And if by these means he cannot be redeemed, in the year of the jubilee he shall go out with his children.
55 Denn die Söhne Israels sind mir Knechte. Meine Knechte sind sie, die ich aus dem Ägypterland herausgeführt. Ich, der Herr, bin euer Gott.'"
For the children of Israel are my servants, whom I brought forth out of the land of Egypt.
