Hesekiel 44
1 Er führte mich hierauf zurück zum äußern Tor des Heiligtums, das sich gen Osten wendet; es war verschlossen.

2 Dann sprach zu mir der Herr: "Verschlossen bleibt dies Tor; es wird nicht aufgemacht, und niemand darf's betreten, ist doch der Herr, Gott Israels, durch dieses eingezogen. Darum soll es verschlossen bleiben.

3 Der Fürst allein, nur er, der Fürst, darf drin verweilen, um vor dem Herrn die Mahlzeit einzunehmen. Dann geh er durch die Vorhalle hinein! Doch muß er wieder auf dem selben Weg hinaus."

4 Er führte mich hierauf zum Nordtor vor dem Hause hin. Und als ich hinsah, füllte schon die Herrlichkeit des Herrn das Haus des Herrn. Da fiel ich auf mein Antlitz nieder.

5 Er sprach: "Hör, Menschensohn! Gib acht und sieh mit deinen Augen und hör mit deinen Ohren, was immer ich jetzt mit dir rede von allen Anordnungen fürs Haus des Herrn und allen seinen Dienstverordnungen! Und merk dir, was das Kommen in das Haus betrifft, und das Herausgehn aus dem Heiligtum!
and to say to(wards) me LORD son: child man to set: consider heart your and to see: see in/on/with eye your and in/on/with ear your to hear: hear [obj] all which I to speak: speak [obj] you to/for all statute house: temple LORD and to/for all (instruction his *Q(K)*) and to set: consider heart your to/for entrance [the] house: home in/on/with all exit [the] sanctuary
6 So sprich zu den Unfolgsamen, zum Hause Israel: So spricht der Herr, der Herr: 'Haus Israel, genug mit euren Greueln,
and to say to(wards) rebellion to(wards) house: household Israel thus to say Lord YHWH/God many to/for you from all abomination your house: household Israel
7 daß ihr den Fremden, Unbeschnittenen an Herz und Leib den Einlaß in mein Heiligtum gewährtet und mein Haus entweihtet! Ihr ließet meine Speise, Fett und Blut, darbringen. So brach man meinen Bund zu allen euren Greueln hin.

9 Deshalb spricht so der Herr, der Herr: 'Kein Fremder und kein Unbeschnittener an Herz und Leib darf je mein Heiligtum betreten, kein einziger der Fremdlinge, die bei den Söhnen Israels verweilen.

10 Ja wahrlich, die Leviten, die sich von mir entfernten, als Israel, zum Götzendienste sich verirrend, mich verließ, sie haben auch für ihre Missetat zu büßen.

11 Sie sollen zwar in meinem Heiligtum Dienst tun als Wachen an des Hauses Türen, und andre Dienste in dem Hause. Sie sollen Brand- und Schlachtopfer dem Volke schlachten und ihm bereit zu andern Diensten stehn.

12 Weil sie vor ihren Götzen ihnen Dienst getan und so dem Hause Israel zur Sünde Anlaß wurden, deswegen schwöre ich auch ihnen mit erhobener Hand', ein Spruch des Herrn, des Herrn, 'sie sollen ihre Missetat jetzt büßen.

13 Sie dürfen sich nicht mir zu Priesterdiensten nahen, noch irgendeinem meiner Heiligtümer und nicht dem Allerheiligsten. Sie müssen vielmehr ihre Schande büßen und ihre Greuel, die sie ausgeübt.

14 Und ich bestimme sie zur Wache in dem Haus, zu aller Arbeit und zu allem, was darin zu tun.

15 Die Priester, die Leviten, Sadoksöhne, die Dienst an meinem Heiligtum getan, als sich die Söhne Israels von mir verirrten, sie sollen Zutritt zu mir haben und bei mir Dienst tun. Sie dürfen vor mich treten, Fett und Blut mir darzubringen.' Ein Spruch des Herrn, des Herrn.

16 'Sie dürfen in mein Heiligtum eintreten und meinem Tische sich, mir dienend, nahen und meines Dienstes warten.

18 Von Leinwand soll die Kopfbedeckung sein, von Leinwand auch die Beinkleider um ihre Lenden, aber nicht zu fest gebunden.

19 Und gehn sie in den äußern Hof zum Volk hinaus, so haben sie die Kleider abzulegen, worin sie Dienst getan, und in die heiligen Gemächer zu verbringen und andre anzulegen, damit sie nicht dem Volk begegnen in ihren Dienstkleidern.

21 Ein Priester soll nicht vorher Wein genießen, wenn er den inneren Hof betritt.

22 Sie dürfen keine Witwe noch Verstoßene heiraten, nur Jungfraun aus dem Stamm des Hauses Israel und nachgelassene Priesterwitwen.

23 Sie sollen auch mein Volk belehren, was für ein Unterschied ist zwischen Heilig und Gemein und zwischen Rein und Unrein!

24 Bei einem Streitfall sollen sie die Richter sein, nach meinem Rechte ihn entscheiden, und meine Weisungen sowie Gesetze sollen sie befolgen insgesamt für meine Feste und auch meine Sabbattage heiligen!

25 Zu keinem toten Menschen darf er gehn, damit er nicht unrein werde. Nur bei dem Vater und der Mutter und dem Sohne und der Tochter, dem Bruder und der Schwester, die nicht eines Mannes ist, da dürfen sie sich unrein machen.

26 Und ist er wieder rein geworden, dann zählt man ihm noch sieben Tage ab.

27 Und kommt er dann ins Heiligtum und in den innern Hof, um seinen Dienst im Heiligtum zu tun, so bringe er sein Sündopfer jetzt dar!' Ein Spruch des Herrn, des Herrn.

28 'Auch müssen sie ein Eigentum besitzen; dieses will ich ihnen sein. Ihr braucht daher kein Eigentum in Israel noch ihnen einzuräumen; ich selber will es ihnen sein.

29 Von Speise-, Sünd- und Sühneopfern sollen sie sich nähren, und alles, was in Israel dem Bann verfällt, soll ihnen eigen sein.

30 Der erste Abhub aller Erstlinge von jeder Art und jegliches Geschenk von allen euren Hebeopfern gehören nur den Priestern. Den ersten Abhub eures Teiges sollet ihr den Priestern geben, um so den Segen über euer Haus zu bringen.

31 Doch nichts Gefallenes und nichts Zerrissenes, sei's von den Vögeln, sei's vom Wild, ist Priestern zum Genuß gestattet.'"
