Hesekiel 43
1 Er führte mich zum Tore hin, zum Tor, das gegen Osten sah.
Then he brought me to the gate, even to the gate that looketh toward the east.
2 Und sieh! Da zog die Herrlichkeit des Gottes Israels von Osten her. Ihr Brausen glich dem Brausen vieler Wasser; die Erde leuchtete von seiner Herrlichkeit.
And behold, the glory of the God of Israel came from the east; and the sound thereof was as the sound of great waters, and the earth shone with his glory.
3 Der Anblick des Gesichtes, das ich sah, war dem Gesichte gleich, das ich gesehn, als er erschien, die Hauptstadt zu zerstören. Und beide glichen dem Gesicht, das ich am Kebarflusse sah. Da fiel ich auf das Antlitz nieder.
And the appearance was like the vision which I saw, like the vision which I saw when I came to destroy the city; it was a vision like the vision which I saw at the river Chebar. And I fell upon my face.
4 Die Herrlichkeit des Herrn zog in das Haus, durchs Tor, das gegen Osten sah.
And the glory of Jehovah came into the house by way of the gate, whose prospect was toward the east.
5 Ein Geist hob mich empor und brachte mich so in den innern Hof. Und sieh! Die Majestät des Herrn erfüllte ganz das Haus.
Then the spirit took me up and brought me into the inner court; and behold, the glory of Jehovah filled the house.
6 Nun hörte ich jemand vom Haus her zu mir reden; dabei stand neben mir der Mann.
And I heard one speaking to me out of the house, and a man was standing by me.
7 Er sprach zu mir: "Du Menschensohn! Dies ist der Ort für meinen Thron und dies der Schemel meiner Füße, wo ich für immer bei den Söhnen Israels verweile. Das Haus von Israel entweiht nicht fürderhin mehr meinen heiligen Namen mit seinen Königen durch seine Buhlerei und durch die Leichen seiner Könige in ihrem Grabgewölbe.
And he said to me: Son of man, this is the place of my throne, and the place of the soles of my feet, where I will dwell in the midst of the sons of Israel forever; and the house of Israel shall no more pollute my holy name, neither they nor their kings, by their fornication, and by the dead bodies of their kings in their sepulchres;
8 Sie setzten ihre Schwelle ja an meine Schwelle und ihren Pfosten neben meinen Pfosten, daß zwischen mir und ihnen einzig sich die Wand befand und sie so meinen heiligen Namen unrein machten durch ihre Greuel, die sie übten. Ich mußte sie in meinem Zorn vertilgen.
in that they set their threshold by my threshold, and their post near my post, so that there was only a wall between me and them, and defiled my holy name by the abominations which they committed; wherefore I have consumed them in my anger.
9 Jetzt aber halten sie ihr Buhlen fern von mir sowie die Leichen ihrer Könige. So kann ich allzeit unter ihnen wohnen.
Now let them remove far away from me their fornication, and the carcasses of their kings; and I will dwell in the midst of them forever.
10 Du aber, Menschensohn, beschreibe jetzt dem Hause Israel das Haus, daß sie sich ihrer Missetaten schämen, wenn sie das Bauwerk messen!
And thou, son of man, show this house to the house of Israel, that they may be ashamed of their iniquities, and that they may measure the pattern.
11 Und schämen sie sich alles dessen, was sie taten, dann zeige ihnen die Gestalt des Hauses und seine Einrichtung und seine Aus- und Eingänge, wie alles in ihm eingerichtet ist und alles in ihm festgestellt und alles in ihm angeordnet und alles vorgeschrieben! Und zeichne es vor ihnen auf, damit sie es befolgen, genau so wie es eingerichtet und befohlen ist, und sie sich danach richten!
And if they be ashamed of all which they have done, let them know the form of the house and the fashion thereof, and the passages for going out and coming in, and all the forms thereof, and all the statutes thereof, and all the laws thereof, and write it in their sight, that they may keep the whole form thereof, and all the statutes thereof, and do them.
12 Des Hauses Grundgesetz ist dies: Auf höchster Bergeshöhe sei ganz heilig rings sein voller Umkreis! Sieh! Dies ist des Hauses Grundgesetz,"
This is the law of the house. Upon the top of the mountain, all within its limits shall be most holy. Behold, this is the law of the house.
13 Dies aber sind die Maße des Altars in Ellen, die Elle eine Handbreit länger als die Elle sonst; der Fuß ist eine Elle tief und eine breit; sein Rand ringsum nur eine Spanne breit, und dies ist des Altars Gestell.
And these are the measures of the altar by cubits; each cubit being a cubit and a hand-breadth. The bottom shall be a cubit high and a cubit broad; and the border thereof, by the edge thereof round about, shall be a span; and this shall be the outer part of the altar.
14 Und von dem Fuß am Boden bis zum untern Absatz, zwei Ellen hoch und eine breit, von diesem kleinem Absatz bis zum größeren vier Ellen hoch und eine breit.
And from the bottom upon the ground to the lower ledge shall be two cubits, and the breadth one cubit; and from the lesser ledge to the greater ledge shall be four cubits, and the breadth a cubit.
15 Der Opferherd darauf vier Ellen, und schräg aufwärts vom Opferherd erhoben sich vier Hörner.
And the altar shall be four cubits; and from the altar upward shall be four horns.
16 Der Opferherd war selbst zwölf Ellen lang sowie zwölf Ellen breit, so daß ein Viereck seine Seiten bildeten.
And the altar shall be twelve cubits long by twelve broad; square on the four sides thereof.
17 Der Absatz vierzehn Ellen lang und vierzehn Ellen breit nach allen den vier Seiten, der eine halbe Elle breite Rand ging ringsherum. Der Fuß war eine Elle hoch, und seine Treppenstufen gingen gegen Osten.
And the ledge shall be fourteen cubits long by fourteen broad on the four sides thereof; and the border about it shall be half a cubit; and the bottom thereof shall be a cubit round about; and its steps shall look toward the east.
18 Er sprach zu mir: "Hör, Menschensohn! So spricht der Herr, der Herr: 'Dies wird für den Altar bestimmt, sobald er fertig ist, daß man Brandopfer auf ihn lege und ihn mit Blut besprenge.'
And he said to me, Son of man, thus saith the Lord Jehovah: These are the statutes of the altar, in the day when it is made, to offer burnt-offerings thereon, and to sprinkle blood thereon.
19 Du sollst den Priestern, den Leviten, die vom Geschlechte Sadoks sind und die allein zum Dienste sich mir nähern dürfen", ein Spruch des Herrn, des Herrn, "ein Jungrind zum Sündopfer übergeben.
To the priests, the sons of Levi, of the race of Zadok, that come near to me, saith the Lord Jehovah, to minister to me, thou shalt give a young bullock for a sin-offering.
20 Dann nimm etwas von seinem Blut, bestreich damit die vier Altarhörner sowie die Ecken an dem Absatz und die Leisten ringsherum, und so entsühne und entsündige ihn!
And thou shalt take of the blood thereof, and put it on its four horns, and on the four corners of the ledge, and on the border round about, and thus cleanse and purge it.
21 Dann nimm das Rind, das Sündopfer, damit man es an dem bestimmten Platz des Hauses, ganz außerhalb des Heiligtums, verbrenne!
And thou shalt take the bullock of the sin-offering, and it shall be burned in the appointed place of the house, without the sanctuary.
22 Am zweiten Tage sollst du einen fehlerlosen Ziegenbock als Sündopfer darbringen, daß man den Altar so entsündige, wie man durch Farren ihn entsündigt hat.
And on the second day thou shalt offer a he-goat without blemish for a sin-offering; and they shall cleanse the altar, as they cleansed it with the bullock.
23 Und bist du mit Entsühnen fertig, dann hast du einen fehlerlosen jungen Stier zu opfern und einen fehlerlosen Widder aus dem Kleinvieh.
And when thou hast made an end of cleansing it, thou shalt offer a young bullock without blemish, and a ram out of the flock without blemish.
24 Die sollst du vor den Herrn hinbringen! Die Priester sollen sie mit Salz bestreuen und sie dem Herrn als Brandopfer darbringen!
And thou shalt offer them before Jehovah, and the priests shall cast salt upon them, and offer them up for a burnt-offering to Jehovah.
25 Du sollst dann sieben Tage täglich einen Bock zum Sündopfer herrichten, auch einen jungen Stier und einen Widder aus dem Kleinvieh, völlig fehlerlos. Die sollen sie herrichten!
Seven days shalt thou sacrifice daily a goat for a sin-offering; they shall also sacrifice a young bullock, and a ram out of the flock without blemish.
26 Und sieben Tage nacheinander sollen sie entsündigen den Altar und ihn reinigen und einweihen.
Seven days shall they purge the altar, and purify it, and consecrate themselves.
27 Und haben sie die Tage so beendigt, so sollen dann am achten Tag und weiterhin die Priester auf dem Altar eure Brand- und Heilsopfer darbringen! Dann nehme ich euch gnädig an." Ein Spruch des Herrn, des Herrn.
And when they have finished these days, it shall be that on the eighth day and forward the priests shall present your burnt-offerings and your thank-offerings upon the altar, and I will accept you, saith the Lord Jehovah.
