Hesekiel 27
1 Das Wort des Herrn erging an mich:
The LORD’s word came again to me, saying,
2 "Stimm, Menschensohn, ein Klagelied jetzt über Tyrus an
“You, son of man, take up a lamentation over Tyre;
3 und sprich: 'Von Tyrus, das an Meereshäfen liegt, nach vielen Küstenländern mit den Völkern Handel treibend', so spricht der Herr, der Herr: 'Du, Tyrus, sprichst: "Ich bin ein wunderschönes Schiff."
and tell Tyre, ‘You who dwell at the entry of the sea, who are the merchant of the peoples to many islands, the Lord GOD says: “You, Tyre, have said, ‘I am perfect in beauty.’
4 Wohl liegt dein Reich im Herzen da des Meeres; schön, vollendet schön erschufen dich, die dich gebaut.
Your borders are in the heart of the seas. Your builders have perfected your beauty.
5 Sie machten aus Zypressen vom Senir dir alle Planken. Sie holten Zedern von dem Libanon und machten dir daraus Mastbäume.
They have made all your planks of cypress trees from Senir. They have taken a cedar from Lebanon to make a mast for you.
6 Und deine Ruder machten sie aus Basanseichen und dein Verdeck aus Elfenbein und Fichtenholz von den Kittiterinseln.
They have made your oars of the oaks of Bashan. They have made your benches of ivory inlaid in cypress wood from the islands of Kittim.
7 Gestickter Byssus aus Ägypten war dein Segel; dir diente blauer Purpur für die Wimpel, und roter von Elisas Inseln war dein Dach,
Your sail was of fine linen with embroidered work from Egypt, that it might be to you for a banner. Blue and purple from the islands of Elishah was your awning.
8 Sidons und Arvads Leute bedienten dich als Ruderer, und deine Steuermänner, Tyrus, waren deine Allertüchtigsten.
The inhabitants of Sidon and Arvad were your rowers. Your wise men, Tyre, were in you. They were your pilots.
9 Die Ältesten und Kunstverständigen aus Gebal, sie besserten dir deine Lecke aus. Die Meeresschiffe all und ihre Führer begaben sich zu dir zum Tausche deiner Waren.
The old men of Gebal and its wise men were your repairers of ship seams in you. All the ships of the sea with their mariners were in you to deal in your merchandise.
10 In deinem Heere dienten Paras, Lydier und Put als Krieger; sie hängten Schild und Helme bei dir auf, verhalfen dir zum Ruhm.
“‘“Persia, Lud, and Put were in your army, your men of war. They hung the shield and helmet in you. They showed your beauty.
11 Die Söhne Arvads bildeten dein Heer auf deinen Mauer ringsumher, Kimmerier auf deinen Türmen mit ihren Schilden rings um deine Mauern; sie machten deine Pracht vollkommen.
The men of Arvad with your army were on your walls all around, and valiant men were in your towers. They hung their shields on your walls all around. They have perfected your beauty.
12 Und Tarsis handelte mit dir all deines großen Reichtums wegen; sie brachten Silber, Eisen, Zinn und Blei auf deinen Markt.
“‘“Tarshish was your merchant by reason of the multitude of all kinds of riches. They traded for your wares with silver, iron, tin, and lead.
13 Die Griechen, Tibarener, Moscher handelten mit dir; sie lieferten als Ware Menschen dir und eherne Geräte.
“‘“Javan, Tubal, and Meshech were your traders. They traded the persons of men and vessels of bronze for your merchandise.
14 Die von Togarmas Hause lieferten auf deinen Markt nebst Rossen Reitpferde und Maultiere.
“‘“They of the house of Togarmah traded for your wares with horses, war horses, and mules.
15 Die Söhne Dedans handelten mit dir, und viele Küstenländer waren deinem Handel günstig; sie brachten Elfenbein und Ebenholz zum Umtausch deiner Waren.
“‘“The men of Dedan traded with you. Many islands were the market of your hand. They brought you horns of ivory and ebony in exchange.
16 Auch Edom handelte mit dir, herbeigelockt durch deine zahlreichen Erzeugnisse. Rubinen, Purpur, bunte Stickereien und Byssus und Korallen sowie Jaspis brachten sie auf deinen Markt.
“‘“Syria was your merchant by reason of the multitude of your handiworks. They traded for your wares with emeralds, purple, embroidered work, fine linen, coral, and rubies.
17 Das Land von Israel und Juda trieb mit dir Handel. Den besten Weizen und Gebäck und Honig, Öl und Mastix brachten sie auf deinen Markt.
“‘“Judah and the land of Israel were your traders. They traded wheat of Minnith, confections, honey, oil, and balm for your merchandise.
18 Damaskus handelte mit dir, herbeigelockt durch deine zahlreichen Erzeugnisse und durch die Menge der verschiedenen Güter, in Wein von Helbon und in blendend weißer Wolle.
“‘“Damascus was your merchant for the multitude of your handiworks by reason of the multitude of all kinds of riches, with the wine of Helbon, and white wool.
19 Wedan und Javan brachten aus Uzal für deinen Markt geschmiedet Eisen, Kassia und Zimt für dich als Tauschwaren.
“‘“Vedan and Javan traded with yarn for your wares; wrought iron, cassia, and calamus were among your merchandise.
20 Und Dedan handelte mit dir in Pferdesatteldecken.
“‘“Dedan was your merchant in precious saddle blankets for riding.
21 Arabien und alle Kedarfürsten, sie waren deine liebsten Händler, verhandelten dir Lämmer, Widder, Böcke.
“‘“Arabia and all the princes of Kedar were your favorite dealers in lambs, rams, and goats. In these, they were your merchants.
22 Die Kaufleute von Seba und von Rema handelten mit dir. Die besten Sorten Balsam, Gold und Edelsteine brachten sie auf deinen Markt.
“‘“The traders of Sheba and Raamah were your traders. They traded for your wares with the best of all spices, all precious stones, and gold.
23 Haran, Kanne und Eden trieben mit dir Handel und Sebas Händler und Assur und Kulmadara.
“‘“Haran, Canneh, Eden, the traders of Sheba, Asshur and Chilmad, were your traders.
24 Sie handelten mit dir in Prachtgewändern, in purpurblauen und gestickten Mänteln, mit einem Schatz von Kleidern, die sie, mit Stricken fest gebunden, auf deine Handelsplätze brachten.
These were your traders in choice wares, in wrappings of blue and embroidered work, and in cedar chests of rich clothing bound with cords, among your merchandise.
25 Die Tarsisschiffe nahmen ersten Rang in deinem Handel ein. So wurdest du mit Schätzen angefüllt, im Meere überreich.
“‘“The ships of Tarshish were your caravans for your merchandise. You were replenished and made very glorious in the heart of the seas.
26 Dich brachten auf die hohe See, die deine Ruder führten. Da hat ein Sturmwind auf dem Meere dich zerschmettert.
Your rowers have brought you into great waters. The east wind has broken you in the heart of the seas.
27 Dein Reichtum, deine Kaufmannsgüter, deine Waren, dein Schiffsvolk, deine Steuermänner, die deine Lecke besserten und deine Waren tauschten, und was zum Volk in dir gehörte, das fiel ins Meer am Tage, da du untergingest.
Your riches, your wares, your merchandise, your mariners, your pilots, your repairers of ship seams, the dealers in your merchandise, and all your men of war who are in you, with all your company which is among you, will fall into the heart of the seas in the day of your ruin.
28 Vom lauten Schreien deiner Steuermänner erdröhnten selbst die Schiffsrippen.
At the sound of the cry of your pilots, the pasture lands will shake.
29 Aus ihren Schiffen stiegen alle, die Ruder führten. Das Schiffsvolk, alle Steuermänner, gingen an das Land.
All who handle the oars, the mariners and all the pilots of the sea, will come down from their ships. They will stand on the land,
30 Sie ließen laute Klage über dich erschallen, erhoben bitteres Wehgeschrei und warfen Staub auf ihre Häupter und wälzten sich in Asche
and will cause their voice to be heard over you, and will cry bitterly. They will cast up dust on their heads. They will wallow in the ashes.
31 und schoren sich um deinetwillen Glatzen und legten Trauerkleider an und weinten über dich betrübten Herzens, in bitterer Trauer.
They will make themselves bald for you, and clothe themselves with sackcloth. They will weep for you in bitterness of soul, with bitter mourning.
32 Sie stimmten schluchzend über dich ein Klaglied an, wehklagten über dich: "Was gleicht nur Tyrus, mittendrin im Meere liegend?"
In their wailing they will take up a lamentation for you, and lament over you, saying, ‘Who is there like Tyre, like her who is brought to silence in the middle of the sea?’
33 Als deine Handelswaren aus den Meeren kamen, verschafftest du den vielen Völkern Speise. Durch deine vielen Güter, deine Waren hast du der Erde Könige bereichert.
When your wares came from the seas, you filled many peoples. You enriched the kings of the earth with the multitude of your riches and of your merchandise.
34 Nun bist du auf dem Meer gescheitert, auf des Wassers Tiefen. Dahin dein Handel und dein ganzes Volk in dir.
In the time that you were broken by the seas, in the depths of the waters, your merchandise and all your company fell within you.
35 Und alle, die auf jenen Inseln wohnen, staunen über dich, und ihre Könige befällt ein Schauder, und sie zerschlagen sich das Angesicht.
All the inhabitants of the islands are astonished at you, and their kings are horribly afraid. They are troubled in their face.
36 Die bei den Völkern mit dir handelten, sie zischen über dich. Zum Schreckensbild bist du geworden, für alle Zeit dahin.'"
The merchants among the peoples hiss at you. You have come to a terrible end, and you will be no more.”’”
